Olivia gasped loudly.

JaNyx winced, covering his ears.
"You're starting to act like Oliver," He pointed out. "Always shouting."ย
Olivia looked down on the grassy ground, her cheeks reddening.
"Sorry," She whispered. "I was just surprised."
JaNyx sighed, looking up in the sky as his back leaned on the bench rest.
"Is it really unbelievable that I used to date a girl that's way above my league?"
"Don't bring yourself down like that," She frowned disapprovingly. "Don't say Kat's beyond your league."
He laughed humorlessly, shaking his head.
"But she is," He said bitterly. "She's beautiful and generally an amazing person. While I'm just... ๐ฎ๐ฆ."
Olivia knitted her eyebrows together. It seemed like JaNyx had a self-deprecating streak.ย
