After much reluctance, JaNyx waved his goodbye and walked away.
Even though he was worried about the two getting into another fight, JaNyx decided he should trust them to be reasonable young adults who could care for themselves.
Now alone and left to their own devices, the silence between the two was deafening.
They both felt guilty for their fight during lunchtime, but neither knew how to apologize.
They continued walking until they arrived at the Huxley parking lot, where Joe and the Twyne family car were waiting.
Upon seeing Joe, Oliver nodded at the chauffeur while Olivia waved politely. Joe smiled at her as he opened the door, letting the high school students enter the car.
Once inside the vehicle, Oliver attempted to speak.
