Maybe it was how his blue eyes looked at her with such intensity, darting from her lips to her wide brown eyes and vice-versa. Or perhaps the way his face was so close to hers, she could literally feel the warmth of his breath against her skin.
All Olivia knew was when his lips were about to touch hers, she pushed him away as hard as she could.
Unlike last time in the kitchen, where he barely moved an inch when Olivia did the same, this time, he was caught off guard and stumbled backward, accidentally hitting his head on the car handle above the door.
"Ouch!" Oliver winced, grabbing the back of his head and bending forward to his knees from the pain.
"Oh no!" Olivia exclaimed. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine," He coughed out, looking up at her with his eyes still half-lidded. "Just got taken by surprise, that's all."
"Do you have a first-aid kit here?" Olivia started looking around each nook and cranny of their small space.
