The moon hung low in the inky sky, its silvery glow casting eerie shadows across the pier as Dyskólios and his three knights confronted Guto and Amber. Dyskólios, with a chilling smile, spoke with a voice dripping with malice. "I believe we can dispense with the others, gentlemen. I'll take care of our dear friend Guto here alone."
Guto tensed, his grip on his weapon firm, ready for the imminent confrontation. Amber, however, shot a defiant look at the knights accompanying Dyskólios. "You underestimate us if you think we can be separated so easily."
The three knights shared a knowing glance beneath their helmets before one of them spoke in a hushed voice. "Remember we need her alive."
The second knight replied, "Yes whatever."
Amber, her eyes narrowed, couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that something was amiss. She turned her attention to the knights and demanded, "Show yourselves! I know that crest."
Silence hung heavy for a moment, but eventually, one of the knights relented. With deliberate movements, they removed their helmet to reveal a familiar face, Amber's older sister, Elara.
Amber's heart sank at the sight of her sister, her once vibrant and free-spirited sibling now clad in knight's armor, bearing the mark of her family's command.
"Sister," Amber whispered, her voice quivering with disbelief and heartache. "How could you have fallen to their trickery? They are evil, and they sould be extinguished."
Elara's expression was a mix of sorrow and resignation. "I had no choice, Amber."
Amber's eyes welled with tears as she stepped closer to Elara, reaching out as if to touch her, but then hesitated. "You could have come to me. We could have faced this together."
Elara's shoulders slumped, her armor-clad form appearing heavier with each passing second. "Make this easy for both of us and come willingly."
Amber's voice quivered as she replied, "So you can sell me as you did the other ones? No thank you."
Tears glistened in Elara's eyes as she lowered her gaze. "I'm so sorry, Amber."
Amber's resolve hardened as her sister, Elara, donned her helmet and joined forces with the two other knights. She knew she was outnumbered and outmatched, but she had no choice. She needed to protect herself and Guto.
The knights advanced, their armor-clad forms reflecting the moonlight as they closed in on Amber. She took a deep breath, her skin taking on a faint reddish-pink hue as she unleashed her overdrive power. It coursed through her, amplifying her strength and speed.
With newfound agility, Amber deftly avoided a strike from one of the knights. She countered with a powerful kick that sent him tumbling backward. The second knight lunged at her, his fists crackling with the volatile cancer power, but Amber was too fast. She darted aside, narrowly dodging the onslaught of strikes.
Amber's movements were a blur as she weaved between her adversaries, her enhanced abilities allowing her to anticipate their every move. With each powerful strike, she sent the knights reeling.
Elara joined the fray. Her sword clashed with Amber's cancerous cells, their attacks locking in a fierce battle.
"This isn't you, Elara!" Amber shouted over the clash. "We can find another way!"
Elara's response was a determined glare as she pressed her attack. Her control over the cancer power allowed her to regenerate rapidly, healing any injuries Amber inflicted. It was a relentless, uphill battle for Amber.
But Amber was not one to back down. She pushed her overdrive power to its limits, her attacks becoming a relentless storm. Each strike was a blur of pink, her movements calculated and precise.
The knights fought valiantly, their cancer power enabling them to withstand Amber's relentless assault. However, as the battle raged on, it became evident that Amber's sheer speed and strength were too much for them to handle.
But, Amber's body trembled with exhaustion as her overdrive power faded. She had pushed herself to the brink, and she knew that she could go no further. Her determination, however, remained unwavering.
In a desperate bid to protect Guto, Amber summoned the darkest, most dangerous aspect of her abilities. She propelled herself high into the night sky, her body undergoing a grotesque transformation as her cells mutated and expanded. She became a monstrous, fleshy behemoth, eclipsing the moon itself.
With a bone-rattling impact, she crashed back to the ground, creating a massive crater in her wake. Her monstrous form was gone, replaced by her battered and broken body. She lay there, gasping for breath, her vision blurred by pain and exhaustion.
Amber's surroundings came into focus, and she realized that only two of the knights remained. Her sister, Elara, stood to her right without her helmet, sword at the ready, but there was hesitation in her eyes. It was a hesitation that would cost her dearly.
Guto appeared behind Elara, his dagger poised for a strike. Amber tried to scream, to warn him not to follow through, but the pain and weakness had rendered her voice useless.
With a swift and deadly motion, Guto's dagger found its mark, piercing Elara's heart. The knight gasped in shock and agony, her sword falling from her grasp as she crumpled to the ground. Her eyes met Amber's, filled with pain, regret, and an unspoken apology.
Amber, still struggling to move, crawled toward her sister. Guto watched, his expression heavy with the weight of the act he had just committed.
Elara's voice was a mere whisper as she spoke her final words. "Thank you... for freeing me."
With that, she exhaled her last breath, her body growing still and lifeless. Amber's tears mixed with the dirt and blood that stained the ground as she reached out to gently close her sister's unseeing eyes.
