In the dim, eerie aftermath of the battle, Guto approached Amber, his heart heavy with concern and dread. Her once vibrant and determined demeanor had been replaced by a haunting fragility that unsettled him. He gently rested a hand on her shoulder.
"Amber," he began softly, "we need to leave this place. It's not safe here."
Amber's eyes, once fierce and full of life, met his with a mixture of pain and resignation. She struggled to speak, her voice barely above a whisper. "I won't make it, Guto."
His heart sank at her words, and he knelt beside her, his eyes filled with anguish. "Amber, we can't give up. We'll find a way to heal you."
She shook her head weakly, her breaths labored. "No, Guto. It's too late for that. I used an attack that divided my cells too much. I'm... I'm going to die soon, and I don't want to die slowly and in pain."
Guto felt a lump forming in his throat, tears welling up in his eyes. He knew the gravity of her words, and it tore at his soul to hear her speak them.
Amber's gaze remained fixed on his, unwavering in her resolve. "Guto, please... You have to do it. End it quickly, before it gets worse."
Guto's trembling hand reached for his dagger, the same blade that had been wielded in countless battles. But this time, it was not the enemy that would fall to its edge.
As he brought the dagger closer to her, his vision blurred with tears, and his voice quivered. "I love you, Amber. I'm so sorry."
With profound sorrow, Guto steeled himself and plunged the dagger into her heart. Amber's eyes met his for the last time, and a single tear escaped her as the life slowly faded from her. Guto held her lifeless form, his heart shattered, for he had not only lost a lover but a piece of himself.

A little Amber is in a very dimly lit room, a teenage and adult counterpart are there with her.
With sadness in her eyes the teenage one says, "I'm sorry I could not be the hero you wished for Amber." followed by the adult one saying, "I'm also sorry, all I wanted to do was protect you, and I failled."
Amber looked up at the two and said, "You girls where perfect, because of your kindness you made me meet Guto, Frøya. And because of your courage you saved both me and Guto at the train, Dáinsleif."
Amber hugged both of them tightly, "Thank you for everything."
The room started to get even more darker and darker until nothing could be seen anymore.
