It has been an hour since I have entered the forest. For a while, I walked in circles, until I tripped and got a serious bruise on my right knee. The initial wonders of the lush green beauty of the forest have faded away now, and all I can think of is Rosemary and her safety. Is it possible for a young girl to survive alone in this forest for a week? Rosemary has never been on trekking expeditions, camping or any kind of adventure trips before. She had cancelled picnic plans before the spots were too exposed to her choice.
I have found a tree, under which I can sit and take some rest. There is a boulder, that is blocking the darker parts of the forest from my eyesight. It's relaxing somehow, not to be able to see the shadows under the thick branches and leaves. Green has always been a relaxing, and soothing color for me, but the green here is sickening.
