"Why... To get stronger, of course," Leo said, raising his chest to make up for the slight height difference.
"Huh?!... Stronger?!... Why?!..." Mark stammered, at a loss for words, staring at Leo with raised eyebrows as he felt it was ridiculous.
"She is your sister, you know," Mark pointed out.
"Yeah, I know. What of it?" Leo snickered.
"What of it?!... I won't allow it." He turned away from Leo and walked to Emily, who was standing with Anne, her expression unreadable.
"Emily, let's go," he grabbed her by the wrist, attempting to leave with her.
"The nerve!" Emily swatted his hand, causing him to let go. It barely hurt as he was now superhuman but had to let go out of respect for his girlfriend.
"Why?!" he said, looking at Emily with a sense of injustice.
"Why?! Wow, you truly have thick skin. Why?! You have to figure that out for yourself," she walked past Mark, ignoring the boy who stood there confused.
