Instructor Minza clicked his fingers, and the water got reabsorbed into his hand.
"Well, that's the entire theory you need to know. I believe everyone understands it." Not caring about their response, sir Minza said, "I will start the mana chamber now. You will feel a little suffocation, but no need to panic. Just follow my instructions."
With that, Sir Minza looked to the side and made some hand gestures. They couldn't see whom Sir Minza was talking to, as only the place where Sir Minza was standing was visible to them.
The next moment, the wall of the mana chamber started shining, and all the kids began to feel a slight suffocation.
He could feel a tingling sensation on his skin. It must be due to the increased density of the mana.
Sir Minza's voice came, "The concentration of mana is increasing in the chamber. All of you, clear your minds and close your eyes."
Everyone followed the instructions.
"Good. Now try to focus on the center of your head. With some concentration, you can form your soul consciousness. You know what to do afterward."
With that, everything became quiet. Drake was about to follow the instructions when Kane's voice came. [Hey Drake, I think all this time I was in this soul consciousness form. I don't know why, but from the moment the mana in the chamber increased, I just wanted to move down.]
[Not before, but something changed, dude. It all started from the moment the mana concentration in the chamber increased.]
[Yeah, dude, hey, stop wasting time and come to the soul space. I am going ahead.]
He did not delay and started concentrating. A few minutes passed, and then he found himself surrounded by darkness. He lost all of his senses but felt that he gained something different.
In this state, he did not know what was going on outside his body, but he could sense the complete structure of his body. He could sense right now he was in the head region of his body. Down below, toward his feet, there was something that was trying to pull him.
'Is that soul space?' he wondered, not wasting time. He tried to move toward the soul space.
In the complete darkness, he did not know if he even had moved or not, but the force pulling him was increasing every moment.
After some time his mind blurred for a moment, and then next he found himself standing on top of a massive, infinite, wide lake made up of pristine clear water.
The mysterious water under his feet was very clear, but at the same time, he could not see what lay beneath the water. It was very weird as he could see his reflection on the lake, but not the normal reflection.
There was a layer of transparent water between him and his reflection. He bent down and tried to dip his hand in the lake, but to his surprise, he found the surface to be as smooth as glass.
His hand stopped at the surface, but looking around he could see the lake was not glass but water, there were ripples all over the lake. He glanced up and found a blue infinite sky with nothing in sight. At this moment, he heard a voice from behind, "Yo."
This shook him, taking a movement to calm himself. He turned around and found a man in his early 20s, having red hair, brown eyes, face full of scars, smiling at him. "Kane?" He asked in confusion.
Kane nodded at him with a smile. "Yeah, dude." Kane walked near him and moved dangerously closer to his face. "Wow, these green eyes are really special. They have this shine to them."
He did not respond as he saw something round protruding from Kane's chest.
Kane noticed his gaze and said, "Dude, that's my mana seed. See, you also have yours there." Kane pointed toward his chest.
He looked down and saw a similar sphere present at the center of his chest but it was slightly different. Before he could compare both the soul seeds, something interesting happened. His soul seed moved out of his soul consciousness and flew up to the blue sky. He looked at Kane, only to find the same thing happened to him.
Both soul seeds moved around 10 - 20 meters above them and slowly started rotating onto their axis. Both seeds were around 500 meters distance from each other.
He saw around half of his soul seed was black, the other 3/4th was yellow and the last 1/8th was dark blue.
Kane's soul seed, on the other hand, was almost 2/3rd in black color. There was a small blue region, but it was light blue, and then at last were the patches of red.
Kane said this time, "It looks like I have a slightly better dark element and worse air and fire element."
"Mm," he nodded while staring at the interesting phenomena. With each passing minute, the speed of both seeds started increasing, and in no time, their rotation force became so strong that 2 whirlpools formed in the lake beneath both seeds.
Slowly, one whirlpool started extending toward them. He moved a few steps away from it.
Kane said, "No need to be afraid, man. This lake is made of pure mana. It will not affect us. Instead, look up. See, the formation of the spirit egg is about to start."
As Kane said soon, the whirlpool swallowed the water beneath them, but still, no matter what happened beneath, it did not affect them.
He realized that in this soul space made up of pure, their presence was more like a projection. Everything seemed to pass through them without affecting them in the slightest.
He stopped caring about the water beneath and looked up. The speed at which both seeds were rotating was still increasing, so he asked, "Is this really the process?"
"From what I read in the novel, a whirlpool in the lake and a typhoon in the air need to form both moving in the opposite direction. The connection between these two will start the formation of the spirit egg."
"Oh, are we going to have 2 spirit eggs?"
Kane looked at him and shrugged his shoulder. "I don't know, but that seems to be the case."
Drake's eyes went wide at his moment. "What the hell going on?"
Kane looked at him in irritation. "Dude, I just explained it to you."
"No idiot," he pointed to the sky, "Look up!"
Kane moved his head up, and the next scene made his mouth wide open. "The fck!" He screamed in shock.
