Chapter 21 - Saint's Appearance

Elder White Beard didn't even have to point out of the direction where they should be leaving.

The clone was aware of where the location would bring them peril.

The clone nodded without hesitation and carried the unconscious Kopi in his arms.

After scrutinizing, he had chosen a direction to which he dashed and long disappeared.

The wall that opened as sentient closed, and at the same time… the main door opened.

Elder White Beard turned his head and glanced at the person standing, genuflecting while lowering her head.

Elizabeth spoke, "Greetings to the eminence. It has been a while. I came to report about your disturbance that brought exasperation to the higher-ups."

Elder White Beard's countenance turned cold and said, "Who cares about them? What more do you want to report? It is more significant as it is the only reason why you are here."

"You are exactly correct." Elizabeth's expression turned uglier, and continued:

"The Dimensional Portal is showing signs of activity. It will be opened not long later.

Will the eminence help me seal it again for another day?"

"It can't be anymore." The Elder White Beard shook his head. "You shall take care of it. It's only the same grade as you."

"B-But…" Elizabeth appeared hesitant. "Will you not make a move?"

"Are you seriously underestimating yourself? I said you can take care of it." His voice turned colder when he repeated his sentence.

"I can take care of it…" She continued with a confident tone. "Alone."

However, it didn't last long when Elizabeth recalled something.

She wanted to say something, but Elder White Beard beat her into it.

"There's no need to say anything. If it will still repeat, then prepare to warn the whole world of the apocalypse injunction."

Elizabeth was stunned.

Elizabeth soon left with a solemn countenance.

Since their only guardian suddenly concluded not to seal the dimensional portal, she has no choice but to prepare.

Not for the dimensional portal, but for the successive dimensional portal that increased its rank every time it got taken down.

The dimensional portal Elizabeth would face was not difficult to take care of.

A boss could stay hidden from their world or leave outside, only to end up killing, causing the dimensional portal to close.

What Elizabeth was afraid of was the transcendental rank dimensional portal.

It would be beyond her power to take care of it.

"I will inform them about it."

Elizabeth has finally decided.

When Elizabeth left outside of the Elder White Beard's domain, another group entered his senses.

It was the group that made the Elder White Beard's face turn frigid.

He couldn't be more familiar than them.

They were the only reason why he came to the Wilham Archipelago.

"It's really difficult to believe they came here so quickly. Did they hurriedly arrive at the teleportation magic device as soon as they noticed my location? Were they really that attentive to me even though fifty years have passed?"

His lips curved into a smile, and his eyes sparkled in amusement.

"How admirable. I wonder, who is their Saint who carries the sacred object of the country now?"

He returned to his rocking chair, which has now altered to an elegant and artistic design.

A simple wooden rocking chair, estimatingly costing ten Federation dollars, could now be sold for tens of thousands.

And the fact it was created – unintentionally – by the existence of a divine ranker could inflate the amount to a staggering… billion!

However, it was none of the Elder White Beard's concerns.

Even when he was after their arrival, his expression turned serene, and all he only thought about was the future of Kopi.

He really wished to witness his growth, but… he has to face the reality now.

He couldn't since his life would be in the hands of the arrival group.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

The knocking noise resonated from the main door, which Elizabeth had closed after leaving.

Elder White Beard couldn't hold back his smile.

'So they decided on a gentle approach. Will being so angry make a person this calm? How bizarre.'

He was aware that he would be so calm even when he was extremely furious.

"What are you waiting for? Haven't you all missed your daddy?"

Swish!

The main door was covered with ice and soon snapped into nothingness.

Not even the grains of the snow were exempted.

Elder White Beard halted to motion his artistic rocking chair and wasn't surprised even a bit.

He was even more amused.

Waiting for a group of people, specifically consisting of seven, staring at him in extreme hate, to say something before he would exasperate them.

Or how he loved to play with them!

"H-How dare you say that!!!" A middle-aged man with a dignified build exclaimed.

On his right hand, he pointed his exquisite azure staff with magic crystals as a head to Elder White Beard, and his arms trembled in furiousness.

Behind him was also a group of people wearing the same clothes as him.

They had the same frost, graceful robe, with a design of a striking, round of a white, unblemished moon.

There was not a single crater but a single moon with the faceless head of a charming woman in the center, with her back hair cascading until the end of their robe.

They also wore staff, but their designs were different.

The only distinct traits that could compare all of them were the color of their hair!

It was the same as the Elder White Beard!

Furthermore, aside from the six middle-aged men, they surrounded a sixteen-year-old girl, gazing at Elder White Beard with the same loathe radiating in her eyes.

Her staff… were a bit different from them.

It was taller than her, which was almost 6 meters in height.

It was taller than any other staff present.

Just her presence alone and the atmosphere conveyed she was someone important.

"Are you the current Saint?" Elder White Beard asked with a nonchalant face.

"The audacity! Miss Saint alone has the potential to surpass you!"

"Bah!' Elder White Beard retorted. "It's because of the staff!

Even so, does she really think with how she gazes at me, she can leave alive?"

There was an obvious hint of warning in his voice.
