Chapter 56 - Chapter 35 of 21 — It Will Be a Pleasure.

After subduing Raza with a powerful gesture, Castiel wasted no time and moved swiftly towards Nana.

"A shame, I arrived late and couldn't see your little breasts encased in a bra."

Nana looked up at Castiel and gave a gentle smile, like a ray of light breaking through the clouds.

"A shame is…"

Nana turned her back and began to walk with measured steps, each movement imbued with a striking serenity.

"If you try a bit, maybe... Ah, forget what I said."

"Oh! So I have to keep rescuing you to get the final reward."

"No chance."

Nana's expression wasn't visible to Castiel, but in his heart, it overflowed with gratitude and contentment for him having saved her life.

"Nita reco…"

Before Castiel could finish his sentence, something burst towards him with force. He was thrown towards the debris, colliding with them near where Raza's body lay.

"What the hell was that?" questioned Castiel, getting up firmly and fixing his gaze in the direction of the person who had knocked him down.

"You little fucker. You ran me over."

"We're just getting started," Vez said.

With a haughty and indifferent posture, Reda and his team advanced through the area, relegating Nana and her companions to a position of mere irrelevance. Their determined steps echoed with an air of disdain, as if they were treading a path above those they encountered along the way.

The glances they cast upon Nana and her team were empty, as if they saw through them, like passing shadows that deserved no more than a brief acknowledgment in their field of vision.

"Brat! As expected from the plan. One of ours was defeated. That was already foreseen, but no one else will be defeated except you."

"I'm itching for you to defeat me."

"Defeat? Kiakiakiakia! We're going to kill you. Go!"

Vez, in an impressive display of speed, swiftly closed in on Castiel, almost like a blur in motion. Castiel, in turn, skillfully evaded Vez's attacks, sliding backward in a fluid movement.

However, as Castiel moved away, Pico, with skill and precision, used his whip to either capture Castiel or lash his body with calculated ferocity. The coordination between Vez and Pico created an engaging and challenging strategy for Castiel, who now faced a complicated and unpredictable situation.

"Oh! You're faster, but what are you going to do with that? Explosive pass!"

Surprisingly, Vez was struck by a powerful blow delivered by Castiel. The impact was so intense that it sent Vez flying through the air, causing him to soar before colliding with the ground. Vez then began to crawl on the ground, visibly dazed and trying to recover from the devastating blow.

"What? Where is he?"

After witnessing Vez being hit by the impact, Pico lost sight of Castiel's location. His eyes moved restlessly around the environment, scanning every corner for any sign of the opponent's presence.

Uncertainty hung in the air as Pico tried to detect any hint of Castiel's next moves. The mounting tension was palpable, as Pico remained on high alert, aware that the unpredictable could happen at any moment.

Castiel closed in on Pico while singing his explosive song.

"Your death has already arrived."

"Show yourself!"

"I'm right in front of you. And I'm Castiel."

A sensation of paralysis took over Pico as he realized that Castiel was dangerously close. Castiel's figure, in Pico's eyes, transformed into something imposing, almost gigantic, filling his field of vision with an overwhelming presence.

"With the explosion, my power explodes you."

Driven by a primal instinct, Pico quickly retreated from Castiel. His body reacted automatically to Castiel's dominant presence, moving away as an instinctive response to the imminent threat.

"So I say it right to your face."

"Ah!"

"Die!" Castiel said calmly and dominantly as he approached Pico.

In a sudden move, Castiel grabbed the back of Pico's head, rendering him defenseless. Then, with an explosion of power, Pico's head was reduced to debris, and his body fell lifeless to the ground.

"Next?" Castiel said, his voice laden with challenge, as his eyes intensely locked onto Reda.

"Brat!" Reda glared back angrily.

"Hahahaha! What did you say earlier? One of us was going to be defeated? But it's two now. This was eas…"

Before his sentence could be completed, Castiel was nearly hit by Vez's sudden assault. Vez's swift and unexpected movement reinforced the combat's unpredictability, highlighting the need for Castiel to remain vigilant at all times.

"Kid. This trick won't work twice."

"I'll keep trying until it works."

"Bold."

Vez maintained his assault, launching a series of attacks in rapid succession. The two fighters exchanged blows, each movement laden with tension and energy. Amidst this deadly dance, Vez seemed to have a calculated advantage, especially if Castiel refrained from using his explosive abilities.

However, the element of surprise was crucial. Vez demonstrated a surprising ability to anticipate Castiel's next explosive moves, his actions were almost as if he could read his opponent's mind.

"Not bad. You're better than I expected."

"Your explosion won't work on me."

"We'll see."

As the battle continued, Castiel recognized the need to change his tactics. He decided to adopt a long-range combat approach, launching his explosions towards Vez.

However, to his surprise, the explosions seemed to have little effect against his relentless opponent. Castiel then decided to resort to one of his abilities, the explosive dash, which would allow him to move swiftly across the battlefield.

"Got you."

"Screwed."

With a relentless gesture, Vez grabbed Castiel's leg and began pounding him against the ground repeatedly, as if shaking a sheet vigorously. The impacts followed rapidly, each resonating with a blow of overwhelming force.

"Aaaaarrrgghhhh!"

Sharp pains coursed through Castiel's body, each of Vez's blows causing visible injuries and escalating discomfort.

However, this torment was short-lived. With quick perception, Vez identified the build-up of energy in Castiel's leg and, in a sudden move, flung him away, creating distance. Seizing the moment, Vez channeled his energy into a prepared technique.

"onslaught of fire!"

Vez's technique involved accumulating fire in his feet, like a rocket ready to be launched, and then swiftly propelling himself toward the selected target to execute his attack.

In an instant, Vez unleashed the power of his technique, propelling himself like a blazing projectile towards Castiel. The attack was unstoppable, hitting Castiel head-on and depriving him of the opportunity to counter.

However, before Castiel was completely overwhelmed, he found the strength to recover and launch himself towards Vez, who was still suspended in the air. Castiel's determination overcame the pain and impact of the previous attack, propelling him to act swiftly and courageously.

"I'm flying. So brace yourself. Explosive rain!" Once again, Castiel chanted a line from the song.

A series of explosive bullets rained down from Castiel's front, each detonating with an impressive boom. Vez was hit by several of these explosives before managing to dodge.

The sound of explosions echoed, creating an adrenaline-filled scene as the explosives sent shards and sparks in all directions.

"Damn! I let my guard down."

"Making excuses, are you?"

"Shut up."

Vez remained crouched on the ground, visibly injured by the previous attacks. However, his body was starting to show signs of remarkable recovery.

The wounds that once marked his body were now gradually closing, and a healing energy seemed to envelop him, restoring his strength and vitality.

"You Zura clan people are a pain. I'll blow you up until there's nothing left of you."

"Will you now?!"

"What?"

Beside a fallen body, Castiel had no idea he was still alive. Suddenly, a man surprised him, grabbing him abruptly and immobilizing him firmly. The swift and unexpected move caught Castiel off guard, locking him in an unrelenting grip.

"Now, Vez! Beat him to death."

Vez, who was crouched, rose with visible difficulty.

"It will be a pleasure." With a relieved smile, Vez spoke.
