Standing still without moving Bjorn looked at the women and children in his ship. Memories of a time past started passing through his mind like a slideshow.
"Bjorn are you ok my love?"
"Bjorn what's wrong my love?"
Elraine and Ashlaine could tell something was wrong, they started asking questions concerned for their love. Unbeknownst to them the women that they had saved were staring at Bjorn with wide eyes that had a range of emotions flashing through them.
Snapping out of his daze hearing his wives asking him questions, Bjorn turned to them and smiled.
"No, nothing is the matter I was just surprised for a moment that's all."
Not quite believing him, his wives looked at each other out of the corners of their eyes. Understanding that it had to do with the women they saved.
"Bjorn, we wont ask what is going on right now but talk to us later please."
"Hmm, nothing is the matter really I was just surprised to see Preena and Carrie here that's all."
Preena and Carrie at first couldn't believe their eyes. After all these years since they had left him they had never thought about running into him again. He stood taller and seemed to have put on muscle mass, but there was no mistaking it. There stood Bjorn, the man they had both betrayed because of the whispers of a devil.
"Oh, so you know these two Bjorn? They said that their husbands are a couple of jarls in the human lands. We were going to ask if you had ever worked for them as an adventurer or mercenary when you were in that area during your journey. "
"Nm, yes, you could say that once upon a time. These two humans were once in a relationship with me. My lovely wives, let me introduce the two women who were the first to leave me in the past, Preena and Carrie."
"Oh...That is quite a reintroduction to say the least. Tch, humans not recognizing greatness."
"Nmm, agreed stupid human women."
After Bjorn's explanation his wives had a different light in there eyes. They couldn't hold back and subtly called both women stupid for leaving such a great man.
"Wait, why do you guys keep talking like you aren't human? I can understand the elf but what about you two aren't you both human as well?" Asked one of the little girls in the room with confusion all over her little face.
Looking at the young lady's and others confusion on their faces Bjorn just shook his head with a smile. He then gestured for Ashlaine to answer the young lady's question.
"To answer your question hon, No myself and this big handsome man here are not human. I am half Asir and half Valkyrie. Bjorn is Asir and has blood from the Greek pantheon on his mothers side of the family. Do you know what that means?"
"N-no... But it sounds important."
The little girl didn't understand what that meant but the two adult humans understood quite well what that meant. Glancing at the two adult humans before turning towards the young girl once again.
"It means that Bjorn has the blood of the gods from two of the greatest and strongest pantheons in the whole of our world. Do you understand now sweetie?"
With a nod of her head the young girl turned towards her mother and just stared at her as if asking something even she didn't quite understand.
Looking at Bjorn and hearing about his true background Preena was even more remorseful for having listened to the whispers from that devil. Another emotion swan through her unbidden though, anger. She is angry because, why didn't he ever tell them his actual lineage. Even with Scala whispering evil into her ears she never would have left the giant golden egg known as Bjorn. Just as she was opening her mouth to ask a question. Someone else's voice cut in.
"Why didn't you ever tell us who you really we-"
*WHOOMMPPPPHHH*
"HOW DARE YOU KILL MY SON YOU INFERIOR BEINGS"
*BOOOOOOOMMMMMM*
"AND WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE CALLING INFERIOR BEINGS INVADER SCUM"
"Sounds like my father and that other guys dad have arrived."
Bjorn immediately erupted in power putting a large dome up to shield his ship from the excess waves of power that his father and the overlord level abyssal lord were exuding from their bodies in a show of power. Quietly without Thor noticing Bjorn sent a very small piece of the strange energy in his body into the dome and strengthened it by a large degree.
"Come my loves lets go watch father beat and abyssal lord. If you four want to see what real power is then you can come watch as well."
Without waiting for the reply of the women and children, Bjorn grabbed his wives hands and pulled to the deck of the ship.
*BUZZZZ*
"OH STOP TRYING TO OPEN THOSE WORMHOLES HERE IT WILL NEVER WORK. I HAVE COMPLETELY LOCKED DOWN THE SURROUNDING SPACE."
"DAMN IT THOR YOU ANNOYING ASIR! I JUST WANTED TO KILL THE FOOL WHO KILLED MY FAVORITE SON!"
"WELL THAT WOULD BE MY SON SO THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN."
"FINE THEN I WILL JUST HAVE TO GO THROUGH YOU TO GET TO HIM."
"YOU CAN TRY."
The voices of the two overlords seemed to make the whole world vibrate with how much power was being used in them. It was as if just the mere act of talking could be considered a kingdom destroying attack.
After the two finished speaking, you could only see them standing still while explosions and ripples of power went everywhere destroying the very fabric of reality around them. At least that is what the women and children saw. For Bjorn it was a whole different story.
Bjorn watched as Thor beat the abyssal lord so badly it couldn't fight back at all. All the opposing overlord could to was try and defend against the enormous war axe that had appeared in Thor's hand.
Swinging again and again Thor pressured the abyssal lord looking for a chance to kill this invader scum. The being he was fighting wasn't an overlord for nothing though and it tried with all its might to fight back and turn the tides of this battle.
Sadly for it though its hopes and wishes were never going to come true. As soon as he got his son's signal that a stronger being was coming after him and his new women. Thor felt something in him snap. Somebody had the gall to come after his son after he had just come home. Oh hell no, so Thor kept pressing his assault harder and harder. He was going to bring the head of this beast to his son and show him that he will always be there for him.
Pretty twisted way for a father to show their love for their son but hey when your a overlord level being who is going to judge you? Well in Thor's case nobody but Gaia but she would probably have been even worse than Thor when dealing with this thing.
Just thinking about what Gaia would do to this being if it was her here instead of Thor gave him chills down his spine and he almost missed it. The chance he had been waiting for.
After Thor had cut the umpteenth different appendage from the creature he understood that its regeneration was slowing down.
When he saw after the ten millionth clash that it had finally slowed down enough to get the fatal strike in. One more swing and there it was the opening he had been waiting for.
*SCCHHHLLLIIINNNGGGGKKKK*
With a speed faster then he had moved the entire fight Thor swung his axe at the neck of the being aiming to take his head in one go. The being seeing his intention tried once again to summon his regeneration to give him a new shield but it took to long. Thor's axe passed though his neck so fast that it completely cauterized the wound.
Grabbing the head before it could fall, Thor then went and landed on his sons ship.
"Bjorn, here's that fools head son."
