0700 hours, a freash faced recruit straight out of training had just walked into the squad equipment room.

"PVT. Davis reporting for duty sir!"

"Relax kid we don't do all that here." A tired looking man middle aged man responded.

"What's your name kid?" a burly man who towered over davis asked.

"Pvt. Davis" the young man responded again.

This response was meet with laughter from everyone in the room.

The burley man was the first to respond. "My name is Duke, I'm the demo expert for the team." he then pointed to the tired looking middle aged man who he first spoke to when he entered "That's Frank, he's the Lt. but he doesn't like going by rank" He continued going around the room "The quiet guy in the back is Brooklyn, goes by Brook for short, he's our comms guy." "Travis at the table there is our squad marksmen."

" Where is the Captian?" Davis asked.

Duke looked down. "Cap doesn't gear up with us. You'll meet him at the truck."

This whole situation was completely bizarre to Davis. In traing they were taught discipline, structure, tactics, marksmanship, essentially everything he would need to join a clearing team. This is nothing like what he exspected a clearing team to be. They lack discipline and have no structure how are these guys the Zulu squad he heard of?
