As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the school day, Mindy and Sophia gathered their belongings and stepped out of the classroom, joining the throng of students streaming into the hallway.
"Hey, Mindy, that essay you read in class today was amazing," Sophia remarked, falling into step beside her friend. "You really have a way with words."
Mindy smiled gratefully, her cheeks flushing with pleasure at Sophia's compliment. "Thanks, Sophia. I'm glad you liked it," she replied, her voice tinged with appreciation.
"But seriously, Mindy, have you ever thought about becoming a writer?" Sophia asked, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I mean, you have such a talent for storytelling. You should totally write books and stuff. You'd be amazing at it!"
