The arrow of blood rushed towards Gunther at tremendous speeds, however, he didn't even bother dodging it. Instead, the arrow struck his face. The arrow stopped maintaining it's shape, and sort of blew up on him, covering him in blood.
I stood there, a bit confused. I knew that the gap between us wide, but... could he really shrug off my attacks with such ease?
Then, he dissapeared from my sight and reappeared infront of me, his finger pressed against my throat. I then dropped the great sword, and raised my arms up in defeat.
"You win."
He was powerful. He was a far cry from Caelus, but he wasn't someone I could hope to defeat, even if I exhausted my Mana Pool, even if I used Ignition I wasn't sure I could win.
This man was just too strong for that, he could probably decapitate me before I could finish my chant if he wanted.
'Now that I think about it, I should... research about the God's. From what I know, the Sun God is the progenitor of the Sun Tribe. In other words, its a Dragon. Well, a Divine Dragon? A Godly Dragon? Whatever it was called, it was a Dragon that was of Divine nature. Unfortunately, I don't know much about either.'
I sighed and looked up at the ceiling. The more damage my body took, after healing, the stronger it became. And the stronger my body became, the more of the God's power I could wield.
I can probably release the Heart's full power if I want, but if I do that I'll die without fail. Probably instantly.
The power of a God isn't something that can be handled without care, if I want to exert the full power of the Heart, then my body needs to be healed over and over. And reconstructed into a vessel that can handle the power of the first Dragon, the Sun God.

After my spar with Gunther, I bid them farewell. Apparently, they lived in some estate that wasn't too far from the Palace, it was expensive but, the house hadn't been occupied for a long time due to it's lacking size in the eyes of nobles.
So, the Emperor just gave it to them when I became his daughter's Knight. I haven't met the Emperor yet, but what I do know is that he's powerful. In the Empire, he's a man who's power isn't too far off of Caelus's.
However, if one thought about it, it was more impressive that Caelus was stronger despite the Emperor being the descendant of a literal God.
Caelus was nothing short of an abnormality that I never wanted to fight for least a decade. Nobody should willingly fight that monster. He was far too powerful to even consider fighting for the current me. But honestly, I don't think I'll ever have to fight him.
I don't intend to make the Empire my enemy, after all, they way they treated me is nothing short of great. And, I don't intend to hurt someone who treats me well. There's just no reason for that.
I was currently in bed, the bed was really damn comfortable, the pillows also used silk pillowcases, and the bed had plenty of space too. It was probably a queen size bed.
I was pretty tired, mentally anyways, so it didn't take me very long to sleep. After all, it had been over a week since I could sleep.

When I woke up, I noticed that it was already noon. And so, I rushed into getting some clothes on, and headed downstairs and into the dining room where I saw the Princess. She was having some food while looking at some papers, and when she saw me she pat the seat beside her. And so, I sat down.
"Reinhardt. Perfect. I was hoping you'd wake up soon, someone will get your food, but in the meantime I need to talk to you about what's going to happen next."
I had a vague idea as to what was going to happen, she was going to talk about the academy. We were going to apply to the academy. In the original story, she went on her own since Reinhardt was dead. But, since I'm here, there's no need for her to be alone.
"So there's this place, it's an Academy for Awakened. And, uh, I'm applying to it, and I was thinking... that if you maybe wanted to come then we could get you signed up? The entrance exam is next week, and I think you should come."
It was a little funny, the way she was asking me wouldnt make you think that she was a Princess.
"Yeah I'll go, but if its an entrance exam... Will I get in? I'm not fully sure what the criteria is, and if I meet it."
She smiled as she handed me some papers.
"You'll be fine, there is a written test but it's not important compared to the practical test. And, there's also a 'special admission' system. It's like a scholarship of sorts. But like I was saying, if you ace the practical side of things and get in, we can work on the theory side of things in school together if it's an issue. Obviously, we'll be studying for the next week. But, you're going to get bad score, since you have a lot of stuff to learn in far too little time."
I sighed and nodded. Although I was decently smart when it came to academics, I wasn't a genius who would be able to pass the entrance exam with only a week of studying.
