"Aeliana, are you sure?" Katrin's voice trembled with shock as she looked between the princesses and the tray of food.
"Yes, I am positive," Aeliana affirmed, her expression grave. "I have this gift, passed down through the women of our royal family. I can identify the scent of any plant, the poisonous ones always being the strongest. And that tea over there, it's laced with a deadly elven plant called Nightshade Bloom."
"Nightshade Bloom?" Ruby's eyes widened in horror. "Is that not lethal!? I heared one leaf could close down an entire village."
"Indeed! it is the most deadly plant. Years age my grandmother oder for the burn down of every bush." Aeliana confirmed, her tone serious. "Whoever sent this was defiantly aiming for your Katrin."
"But who would want to poison me?" Katrin's voice wavered with disbelief.
"And where did they get a Nightshade."
