Chapter 276 - 276 The Boys: Homelander vs Allen, Monumental Humiliation, Starlight's Will and the Hidden Monster.

Taking advantage of his ability to cling to buildings and his superhuman strength, Allen crossed the city at high speed.

On the way, Allen further amplified his strength with his new latent power. This helped him practice a bit of control; it wasn't too difficult, although Sentry's power was new, Allen already had a lot of experience handling different types of energy. Thus, he was able to quickly enhance his skill with this power.

Allen arrived at the Seven's tower but didn't know where Starlight was, so he relied on his system.

The system could register and locate any person regardless of distance, but there was one condition, that Allen had already met her. Because Allen did not yet know Starlight, the system did it the old-fashioned way and hacked into the security system while deploying drones.

Without waiting for the results of the system Allen also entered the tower. Allen considered using his speed to get inside and he could scale the outside, but Allen chose to enter through the interior when he saw the minimal security. After all, it was the Seven's tower.

Who in their right mind would attack this place?

In both timelines, Starlight was attacked in the meeting room at the top, so it was a good idea to enter.

At first, Allen was cautious. He changed his hair color, bought a Vought security guard uniform from the system, and put on square glasses.

As he ascended, Allen saw Ashley talking to a middle-aged woman.

Felicia – "Wow, it's Madelyn, not James…"

As mentioned before, there are significant differences between the comic and live-action timelines.

Madelyn Stillwell is one of the main antagonists in Amazon's series "The Boys." She was a high-ranking executive at Vought International, the media conglomerate that owns the Seven.

James Stillwell is the male version and vice versa. He is the main antagonist in the comics and also a high-ranking executive.

In both versions, they serve as Homelander's anchor and often prevent him from going too far. However, there's a fundamental difference between the two besides their antagonistic relevance. For Homelander, Madelyn is both a maternal figure and a partner...

Felicia HC – "I can't comment on their strange relationship with Homelander due to certain circumstances, but she's a real b*tch."

Natasha HC – *Coughs*

Gwen HC– ...

MJ HC – ...

Diana HC– ...

Everyone knows about Natasha and Allen, at least in his case Allen stopped depending on Natasha a long time ago and he was the one who took care of her from then on.

(Allen couldn't resist, I doubt anyone could 🍷🗿 )

...

Allen decided to ignore the discomfort that arose in the Harem Chat and he remained silent as he looked at Madelyn.

Madelyn Stillwell has made this world a terrible place, but many things could be resolved with her. Unfortunately, Annie was the priority right now.

[Host, you need to hurry!]

Allen heard the urgent tone from the system and moved quickly to the stairwell, then flew to the top. He had no intention of hiding any longer, so he reverted to his normal appearance and clothes while ascending. As he approached, his spider sense activated, and without hesitation, Allen entered, passing through three walls and destroying everything in his path, including a painting of Homelander.

There, in front of Allen, was the most repugnant scene he had ever witnessed.

At that moment, Allen pushed aside thoughts about canon and story, "Everything could go to hell!"

Allen felt his power increase and accelerate. First, he hit The Deep with such force that if he had struck his head instead of his jaw, he might have crushed it.

Once he sent The Deep flying, his focus shifted to Black Noir, who was stepping on Annie's head.

At that moment, Allen controlled himself to avoid hurting the girl on the ground; otherwise, he would have already attacked Black Noir.

Allen decided to trust his power and fired a burst of energy like ki. He had a bad feeling about Black Noir but ignored it and focused on the girl on the ground.

Allen felt guilty... he could have arrived sooner, but he had stopped along the way to investigate a few things about this place.

Objectively Allen's actions were not wrong, research is an important thing to do and he was able to identify that in this world there was Madelyn Stillwell and not James Stillwell, but had he gone directly, he could have spared the girl much physical and emotional pain. Allen saw her gaze and decided to suppress his other emotions and simply smile.

Allen smiled for her sake.

...

Starlight threw herself onto his chest, and Allen comforted her. However, he noticed a figure flying through the window.

You can't attack the castle without finding the king... maybe calling him king is an exaggeration, for Allen this man was a buffoon.

Blond hair, blue and red suit with a cape simulating the US flag.

"So you're here... Homelander..."

It was Homelander in the flesh, his eyes glowing red with a menacing intensity.

Of course, he's here, this is his castle. The man floated as he entered through the window, his presence overwhelming, at least for everyone except Allen.

Starlight stopped crying and looked behind her. There stood the greatest, strongest, and most famous hero in the world.

"Homelander?..." Annie said quietly.

Homelander looked all over the destroyed place, including his portrait smashed to pieces on the floor, "You've done too much..." he said with a deathly tone "I hope you're prepared.... villain!"

The man who was supposed to represent light, good, justice, and hope. Yet, Annie clung tightly to Allen's clothes, terrified.

You can't blame her, no one wants to see this monster raging. Annie felt she had to say something, but what?

That the young man there had saved her?

Annie was in disbelief, she had just been attacked by two superheroes from the most important team in the world and was saved by a villain. Annie opened her mouth. She needed to say something, afraid that her savior might be killed by Homelander.

'Wait... killed??' Annie didn't understand her thoughts. We're talking about Homelander. Why would she think Allen would be killed? More importantly, why was she afraid of Homelander?

"You... you're the Supe that's been messing everything up! Who or what are you?!" Homelander looked like he was about to explode, but he wanted to know who Allen was, he couldn't understand how no one knew anything about Allen being such a strong Supe.

Annie looked at Homelander, who was slowly approaching, her terror palpable. She couldn't breathe or speak. The man who was supposed to embody all her ideals of heroism terrified her in a way she couldn't imagine.

"It's okay..." Allen said softly as he placed his hand on Annie's shoulder.

"...!"

Annie heard her savior's voice and turned, ignoring Homelander's presence. She couldn't believe it, but the contrast was absurd. The mere presence was different.

Allen's eyes met hers, and Annie became entranced. All the fear, doubt, and worry that had overwhelmed her a moment ago vanished.

"Can you move away for a moment?" Allen asked.

No.

That's what Annie wanted to say, but she didn't dare to speak and simply blushed.

"Starlight?!" Homelander said in a cold voice.

Allen clicked his tongue, it was already impossible to leave Starlight out of this so he could only protect her.

Annie tensed when she heard her name, recalling she was in Homelander's presence. But as she tried to turn and explain, Allen's arm encircled her and held her tighter.

What?!

Annie's mind froze, her heart racing.

"Enough of this nonsense, Homelander... You know very well what your friends were planning to do... I can't believe how disgusting you all can be."

Allen was enveloped in a golden energy cloak. This time, Homelander stopped advancing.

"You seem like... superior to the average. Where the hell did you come from?!"

Homelander, due to his connection with Madelyn, knew that every super had been created by Vought. It made no sense that someone as powerful as Allen, capable of taking down Black Noir and The Deep, hadn't been raised by Vought like himself.

Allen did not respond, ignoring Homelander's words. His eyes were fixed solely on the man floating not too far from him. "I was wondering what kind of person you'd be, but I'm pleased…"

"What?"

"You're still the same narcissistic, arrogant mama's boy who cries when no one looks at him…"

The ground began to tremble as Allen spoke, but for Homelander, this was imperceptible since he was floating. Of course, he would; speaking from an elevated position is the first step in demonstrating superiority.

"The truth is, I didn't expect to be so disgusted by the sight of them, since I already knew what kind of scum they were... I was wrong." Allen continued as the energy was expelled from his body.

Homelander was taken by surprise. The person before him had said something incomprehensible. He knew the meaning of every word, but they had never been aligned in a sentence and directed at him.

He was Homelander, even when treated as an experiment, he had never been insulted because, deep down, they always feared him. It had always been this way.

Should he be happy? Should he be pleased that someone wasn't afraid of him? After all, this is why he could trust Madelyn. But it was strange—Homelander felt angry, full of rage, and a sense of inferiority.

Homelander didn't understand it, but it was fine; he just needed to deal with the one who caused this.

Kill, destroy, dismember, slit, smash, gut, impale, break, incinerate, leave not a drop of blood from his enemy. Rage exploded in Homelander!

"Ahhhhh!!"

Homelander charged at Allen with his fist. He didn't care if the building was destroyed; he didn't even consider if Madelyn would die. All he thought about was killing the damn kid in front of him in the most brutal way possible.

Starlight felt she was going to die. The difference between her and Homelander was too great. She didn't even entertain the thought of fighting; a mouse doesn't challenge a dragon. However, she didn't want to run away. Annie couldn't abandon the person who saved her, so instead, she clung to Allen. If she was going to die, at least it would be with the person who saved her.

Homelander's fist was about to hit Allen. His accelerated thoughts allowed him to see everything in detail.

Dust began to rise, walls cracked, and the air around them parted with his passing. But there was something strange, the look on the kid's face. It was so calm that it unsettled Homelander.

'Why isn't this guy afraid of me?'

Homelander's fist was halted abruptly. A wave of golden energy spread across the floor and walls, causing the entire building to shake but showing no apparent damage.

"...?!"

Homelander was in shock, a kind of shock he had never experienced.

Similarly, Annie's eyes widened as she looked at Homelander so closely. But strangely, the expression on Homelander's face left her speechless. He was astonished, even sweating on his forehead.

"Do you know what your problem is?" Allen spoke, not paying attention to Homelander's state. "You lived in a world where you were invincible. You never faced anyone on your level, haha, and of course, never anyone stronger than you. No skill, no experience, no life-or-death situations…"

Homelander instinctively wanted to pull back, but he couldn't move his fist.

"Who the hell are you?!"

"You're doomed... in a world with no danger for you..."

The air began to tremble as a layer of golden energy enveloped Allen. Starlight, who was next to him, felt a strange sensation when that energy didn't seem to harm her but also enveloped her protectively.

"I don't intend to talk about justice or what's right. I have no intention of justifying anything. While you're innocent for being raised in a lab as an experiment, you're guilty of everything you've done…"

"SHUT UP!!!" Homelander screamed with a mix of anger and fear while using his heat vision on Allen. "I AM HOMELANDER!. I AM THE PEAK OF EVERYTHING! I AM THE MAN IN THE SKY WHO MUST BE ADORED... I AM –!"

Homelander froze when his heat vision was absorbed by Allen's energy field, turning into nothing.

"Your what?... go ahead, finish your sentence…" said Allen.

Homelander gritted his teeth while using his other fist to strike Allen's energy shield.

"DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE ALREADY!!"

Each strike sounded like the thunder of a lightning bolt and shook the atmosphere, but for Allen's golden energy absorbing the impact, the building would have collapsed long ago.

Had this ever happened? Had Homelander ever wished for someone to die and it not be the case? No, that had NEVER happened. From Homelander's perspective, every person in this world was just another sack of meat meant to adore, idolize, and admire him.

It wasn't optional. If God didn't exist, he would be God. And if God did exist, he allowed Homelander to be born. Therefore, nothing was beyond his reach. Yet, Homelander considered himself benevolent, which is why he only wanted to be loved for now.

"Did you just start fantasizing?"

Allen's voice turned colder as energy gathered in his hand, which was still holding Homelander's fist.

Allen increased his intensity. "You know, I might seem calm right now, but your friends pissed me off... so don't expect any mercy…"

Without another word, the place lit up, and a tremendous roar was heard as a figure was blasted out of the Seven's tower at high speed… it was Homelander…

...

Allen knelt, sweating and gasping. He had used too much energy in that attack. Of course, that was the case. Allen had no power left beyond what was available. It was a bit frustrating, but it was his reality.

"Are you okay?!" Starlight panicked, knelt beside Allen, and checked him all over.

"Haha, hey, did you forget I'm the villain?"

Annie froze for a moment but then supported Allen and helped him up. Of course, being a Supe, she could lift a minivan without a problem.

"What are you doing?" Allen asked as she seemed to want to get him out of there.

"I... don't know."

Annie was confused; she wanted to know what she was doing but couldn't understand it. Was she going to help the villain who attacked and perhaps killed three superheroes?

Annie felt strange, but at the same time, she decided to trust her heart—the heart that told her that something was wrong in this world and that the man she held was worth more than all the superheroes in the world combined.

Allen let out a sigh and then smiled as he allowed this to happen. Annie put her hand on Allen's waist as she blushed.

The girls in the chat room saw this suspicious movement but said nothing.

...

In an alley, a drunken man was disturbed from his sleep when something fell into a dumpster.

"What?!"

The noise was so loud that it startled him, but still under the effects of alcohol, he got up and went to check. There was an eerie silence—no rats making noise as if they were scared. Out of nowhere, a man dressed in black emerged from the dumpster.

"Ahh, what's going on?!"

The drunken man was frightened and fell backward. Looking again, he noticed Black Noir staring at him.

"I know you... you're on TV *hic*~" The man laughed and got up unsteadily. "Don't scare me like that, haha... damn, I dropped my drink!"

As the drunk man rambled, Black Noir emerged from the dumpster and approached him silently. Realizing this, the man looked at him in confusion. Despite being considered disturbing by many in the public, Black Noir was a hero.

Black Noir lifted his mask, and the man was terrified. In front of him was a familiar face with a broad smile. However, there was something very strange, terrifying, and disturbing.

Black Noir's smile was like a mannequin that didn't know how to smile, resulting in an artificial and macabre grin.

Before the man could react, Black Noir grabbed him and bit his neck at the base, then proceeded to rip out his spinal cord.

It was all violent and bloody. The man died with a face of horror, seeing his body torn to pieces and staining the whole alley, he could not even scream.

Why the hell would someone do such a thing?!.... It doesn't matter... you don't need to understand it.

Allen had considered this possibility when he discovered that this timeline was a mix.

In the live-action version, Black Noir is a pitiable man who suffers from mental problems after sustaining severe injuries in the past.

However, in the comics, his version is more sinister, more cruel, and more twisted. Black Noir was the worst of Homelander mixed in a blender and stirred while performing a satanic ritual.

There was no reason to kill that man; Black Noir simply wanted to. What this man had done was more than a crime, it was a blasphemous act against life.

After all, Black Noir was created as the ultimate weapon to kill Homelander if he ever went out of control.

Black Noir covered his disturbing smile, now smeared with blood, with his mask and prepared to return to Vought. His walk was silent and undamaged, despite having been attacked by Allen.
