Chapter 277 - 277 The Boys: Massive Hatred, Starlight the Shameless Girl and The Hijacking of an Airplane.

After Homelander was expelled from the building, the chat released the breath it had been holding. Although it seemed like a long time had passed since Allen ascended to the top floor where The Deep and Black Noir were, and finished everything with Homelander being sent flying out of New York, it all happened in just a few minutes.

The chat couldn't remain silent during this conflict. After all, they had witnessed the darkest side of this world.

Initially, with "The Deep," people encountered a horrific scene involving a truly repugnant bastard.

Once Allen dealt with them and began consoling Starlight, people took the opportunity to comment.

Thor – Damn, I wish I could go there!

Hulk – HULK SMASHES BONES!!

Kara – Damn it!!

Gwen – Some people don't deserve any mercy!

McDragon – I admit I'm not the best person in the world. Even when I was a kid, I used to lift girls' skirts and steal underwear.

PercyJ – Oh brother, you're making yourself look bad. You'd better keep quiet... and the women here are really angry.

JackSparrow – I get what you mean, but that was a really bad way to start commenting, hahaha.

McDragon – No! Wait! What I mean is that even I have limits. These bastards don't deserve any mercy!

Felicia – What kind of world is this?! Damn it!

Felicia found herself in the same situation as everyone else. No one knew which timeline they were in. There were only two options: finding The Deep or finding A-Train, Black Noir, and Homelander. However, what happened was The Deep and Black Noir. This might mean that it's a blend of both stories.

Putting aside the anger everyone felt, the chat also experienced a sense of satisfaction as they watched Allen smash The Deep's jaw in slow motion thanks to the system. It was only by a hair's breadth that The Deep's head wasn't torn off.

Black Noir was no less scum than The Deep, everyone saw him stomp Starlight with his pants down. This BASTARD disappeared with an Allen energy cannon in an act of divine justice that helped many people control their rage.

After, the attention of the girls shifted to Annie, who was crying in Allen's arms...

Gwen – *Sigh* It's okay...

MJ – It's true... I can't be jealous of a girl who suffered so much. I'll allow it too...

Natasha – She seems like a nice girl... and it's a shame she had to find out the truth in the worst possible way... I'll have to treat her well when she visits~

Diana – I can barely control my urge to go and cut off their limbs personally. What trash!

Felicia – I want to do even more to that bastard The Deep. In this world, it's much worse!

Emma Frost – What scum. How dare they call themselves superheroes?! No, even calling them people is an insult to others!

Nikky – *She is crying* Poor Annie...

Rogue – Damn, I'm sure this wasn't the first time they did this!

Ruby – Definitely not! *The girl began to emit a slight flame but didn't notice it.*

The Chat had too many mixed emotions, but overall, the condemnation was unanimous. Everyone hated abusers, and no one would complain if Allen had killed them. In fact, Allen didn't hold back; if they had been weaker, they would have died. But as frustrating as it was, the Seven were very strong Supes, even among other Supes.

(A/N: Annie received massive approval without realizing it, including the most important ones 🍷🗿)

...

Homelander's arrival made people serious. After all, Allen had limited power. From his introduction to his presence, everything was terrifying. People noticed that Homelander's muscles were outlined in his suit, which made them associate him with the comic version, though his face was from the live-action.

Putting that aside, one thing was clear: this Homelander was incredibly strong!

Maria Hill – He's a monster...

Ivy – No jokes or sarcasm, this Homelander is like seeing a psychopathic Superman.

Harleen – This man teeters between extreme narcissism and psychopathy.

Raven – I hope Allen has enough power to defeat him.

Kara – Oh?! Don't be ridiculous. Even I would win... probably... but Allen would kill him just by breathing!~

Barbara – Kara, don't forget his power is limited...

Starfire – It doesn't matter! Allen is incredible!~

Donna – My master is invincible!!~

Emma W – Allen... *She clasps her hands in prayer*

Megan – Don't worry... he'll be fine *She said, trying to convince herself.*

To everyone's relief, Allen humiliated Homelander both psychologically and by demonstrating his power. Everyone in the chat breathed a sigh of relief. However, when Allen knelt, exhausted and a bit pale, different emotions surged all at once.

Those close to Allen and those who appreciated him were filled with a mix of anger, fear, distress, worry, frustration, and helplessness, but they also breathed a sigh of relief seeing him win.

Artemis (Goddess) – The result was what we all expected, but Homelander was stronger than anticipated... I hope Allen is okay...

Artemis (Bana-Mighdall) – Allen?! What's happening?! Are you okay?!!

Hestia – Calm down. Allen is just tired. He's only exhausted *Hestia was incredulous as she saw Allen kneeling, breathless, and felt a pang in her chest.*

Athena – It seems Allen used more power than he should have. As a result, he expelled his opponent far away but ended up exhausted. That power isn't even a fraction of what he really possesses. *Athena frowned with concern.*

Aphrodite – NOOO! SOMEONE TAKE ME THERE NOW! I'LL DESTROY THE BASTARD WHO HURT MY HUSBAND!!

Hippolyta – Is he your husband now? *Sigh* I trust Allen's judgment. He used the necessary power to win, considering the consequences.

Antiope – Allen could have fought differently, for example, conserving his power and only using enough to strike his opponent rather than exhausting himself. However, he used a single massive attack because he wanted to end it quickly... before "something" happened.

Tearju – I've been researching "The Boys." Allen probably felt cautious about any unexpected events. This world is strange.

Gil-chan – The man in black... is even more chilling than the arrogant flying man...

Carol – I'm not used to commenting on this, but I wanted to say that the man in black gave me chills too...

Harley – Honey, are you okay?! Answer me! Don't worry, I'll help you!!

Allen apologized to the viewers and reassured them that he was just tired. Moreover, he assured them not to worry; he had an army of waifus to escort him home.

Allen decided to end the stream after talking briefly with some people. He was exhausted.

He wasn't injured, just tired. Allen made that very clear, especially to all the girls.

...

Allen escaped with Starlight's help. He glanced at the blonde girl who had a serious look on her face as she carried him. Despite having Rebecca, 2B, Artoria floating protectively, and Bocchi and Nokotan in his pocket with serious expressions that even surprised Allen, he felt a peculiar amusement in being cared for so much.

Allen was able to walk on his own but chose to let her help, so he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The scandal caused by the attack on the Seven's tower and The Deep's emergency admission caused a global commotion, especially in the U.S. People, who had long been accustomed to their heroes, felt fear for the first time in a long while.

Whether people liked superheroes or not, but no one could deny that having Homelander and all the Supes in the sky watching over peace was comforting. Unfortunately, they did not know the truth.

...

(The next day)

Allen opened his eyes to find Rebecca looking at him with narrowed eyes. This made Allen feel judged, something that only happened when he made a mistake.

"Did something happen Becca?"

"Nothing's wrong..."

'When a woman says that, something is definitely wrong. First, I reviewed my memories and then, after sleeping and letting Starlight and my personal guard, my version of the "Sisters of Battle" from Warhammer 40k, take care of me—speaking of which, the Emperor gifted me a shadow Adeptus Custodes armor for Christmas. They guard the cells of the palace where they imprison the creatures they could not eliminate... '

Everything sounds great, but the Emperor forgot that Allen is not ten feet (3m) tall.

Rebecca began to frown and puff out her cheek. Allen stopped daydreaming when he saw that she was about to pull out her shotgun. He decided to get up first to avoid being at such a disadvantage in the negotiation.

"Hm?"

Allen realized he felt heavy and looked down to see a blonde girl sleeping on him—Annie.

"I see..." Allen understood the reason for Rebecca's look.

During the time Allen was in his world, Rebecca usually gave space to other girls like Gwen, MJ, Natasha, Diana, etc. Rebecca understood that they couldn't travel with Allen so easily, but during their trips to other worlds, Rebecca tended to monopolize Allen at night.

Of course, this was because 2B didn't take the initiative, and Artoria... that wouldn't happen, right? Lastly, Nokotan and Bocchi were still too innocent for these things.

With Makima, Esdeath, and Wednesday out of the picture and no conquests by Allen for now, Rebecca could monopolize Allen. Even if there was no intimacy, she loved sleeping on Allen. But at the moment, a blonde girl occupied that spot.

Allen gave Rebecca an apologetic and confused look. "I'll make it up to you, Becca, but what happened? Why is Annie sleeping on me?"

"She brought you to a hotel room with a bed. The blonde girl took off your clothes, embarrassed, and laid you down comfortably, but she decided to sleep on the couch." Rebecca huffed. "Her curiosity got the better of her, and she saw the news. It shows how Annie helped you escape. People are confused, and some accuse her of betrayal."

Allen looked at Annie sleeping and noticed the dried tears on her face. She must have gone through a lot of stress and anxiety. Allen gently stroked Annie's hair.

Rebecca was annoyed. "Tsk... I wouldn't worry too much about her. After crying for an hour and not being able to sleep, she snuck into your bed like a thief and curled up next to you. I could clearly see her red and shameless look. SHE DIDN'T LOOK REMORSEFUL WHILE SHE SNUGGLED WITH YOU!"

Rebecca raised her voice enough to wake Annie. She looked at Allen for a moment, greeted him, and Allen returned the greeting. A moment later, Annie went into shock and then ran to the bathroom, embarrassed, not even noticing Rebecca.

"I'm sorry!" Annie shouted from the bathroom.

Rebecca climbed onto Allen. "This doesn't seem fair," she murmured, then took out a strange gun with a cold light and shot the bathroom door, freezing the frame.

Allen was surprised to see something so Rick from Rebecca, but she didn't let him ask and kissed him, slipping her tongue in. "I don't care about your new girlfriend~ but remember my reward. I want it now! ❤️~ "

Allen glanced at the bathroom and heard the shower, so he grabbed Rebecca by the waist and positioned himself on top. Managing jealousy among the women in the harem was part of Allen's job.

Quickly, the room was filled with moans and curses.

Time moved towards midday. Allen and Annie had lunch together, after which she spoke with her parents on the phone.

Annie assured them that everything would be fine and that they shouldn't believe anything they saw in the news. Allen asked Butcher and his friends in the CIA to take care of Annie's parents. However, Allen knew that this favor from Butcher would come at a cost, but he didn't mind.

....

Annie talked to Allen about everything that had happened from the audition to "that" moment.

"I'm such an idiot... It was obvious they just needed a pretty face for television..." Annie said sadly with a bitter smile.

Allen looked at her seriously. "Annie, it's not your fault... Vought America is a heartless corporation willing to do anything for its own interests."

Annie lowered her head. "Are all superheroes fake?" she asked, already knowing the answer but unable to accept it. Annie laughed bitterly at herself, realizing that everything she believed in and admired was a lie. Thinking back to her speech, Annie felt even worse.

"No..." Allen replied, surprising Annie.

Annie looked up and stared at Allen. "Is there anyone decent among them?"

"Yes," Allen smiled and pointed at Annie. "You!"

"...!?" This made the girl's eyes widen in shock.

Allen continued confidently, "It's unfortunate, but this world is corrupt and cruel. A girl like you will be crushed by all of that, but don't worry, you're not at fault. None of what you believe is wrong. Someone just pulled the strings and twisted the world to make it seem like someone like you is wrong..." Allen's eyes, completely sincere and untainted, reflected in Annie's eyes. "Even if this world says you're wrong, I swear on my life that it's not true!"

Annie's eyes filled with tears again, and she started crying while smiling weakly. She held Allen's hand. "Thank you so much... you've helped me in more ways than one... I still don't know what I'm going to do, but I don't regret helping you Allen...even if it takes me to hell"

"Don't worry I won't let that happen haha."

Annie and Allen smiled at each other and spent time together while Allen contacted Butcher to update him on what had happened.

...

"Damn it! You should have invited me if you were going to destroy the Seven's tower!"

Instead of being angry, Butcher was reveling in hearing that Allen had nearly killed The Deep and had sent Black Noir and Homelander flying.

"Hahaha... and?" Butcher's voice, previously filled with sarcasm and cruel laughter, turned cold and deadly. "Can you kill them?" Butcher asked.

Allen remained silent for a moment. In the case of The Deep, Allen knew he could kill him without any problem. But with Homelander, he had only injured him, and Black Noir...

Allen didn't want to think about that possibility, but if it were "that" Black Noir, he would be even more dangerous than Homelander.

"No, not for now..."

Butcher's tone returned to normal. "Well, I've got a job investigating some traffickers who might have Compound V. Plus, there's a new ally, Mother's Milk (M.M.). Haha, I'll introduce you later."

"Wait, that's too much information," Allen shook his head. "All right, where should we meet?"

"Nowhere. You have a more important job than catching traffickers," Butcher smiled unpleasantly. "You need to save a plane, kid!"

"Huh?!"

...

Homelander was in the bathroom while Madelyn Stillwell finished a call.

"Damn it, how can there be a Supe so strong and no one noticed?!" Madelyn, a high executive at Vought, knew many things, including how the Compound V supply was managed. "Don't give me excuses. A damn Supe came to the tower and humiliated three of Vought's main heroes. From what Homelander said, this white-haired kid must have killed Translucent! We've been humiliated. I don't care who, but find the person responsible for letting that kid exist!"

Madelyn hung up while slamming her desk. Homelander stopped listening and looked at himself in the mirror, then at his hand covered in a bandage. Homelander was filled with rage, fury, and resentment... but there was another emotion as well.

Homelander began to breathe heavily, looked at himself in the mirror, then became frustrated with his reflection and punched the mirror, creating a hole in the wall behind it.

Homelander had been injured. It was a superficial wound, but he had been hurt, sent flying, and humiliated by a stranger. Homelander felt furious, but also... he was afraid.

Homelander noticed that Madelyn was approaching the bathroom, took a deep breath, and smiled again as usual.

Madelyn walked in through the door and saw Homelander shirtless.

"Did you finish your call?" Homelander looked at the wall. "Sorry, I was a bit upset because that kid got away."

"I understand... there's no time for regrets... I have a solution, or rather... damage control."

Homelander looked at Madelyn, who was one of the few people he listened to.

"What do I need to do?"

...

Transatlantic Flight 37 from Paris to Chicago. A routine flight turned into a nightmare when three hijackers took control intending to commit an attack.

Madelyn walked down the aisle with Homelander and Queen Maeve.

"This is what we need to regain the people's trust."

"In the middle of the Atlantic?" Homelander said, looking at the screen in a temporary meeting room in the middle of the tower. "No man's land…"

"In international waters... is that okay?" Maeve asked skeptically. "We don't save outside of borders."

"Listen to me, right now we're in a very bad position. Even the bill about to go through Congress is in danger. We need something big and impactful. You need to stop a terrorist attack."

Madelyn touched Maeve's shoulder. "Don't fail, after Homelander, you're the most reliable member of the Seven."

Maeve didn't react to Madelyn's comment; instead, she nodded.

Maeve was nervous. She had years of experience pretending to be a superhero, and while the occasional thefts and criminals were real, she didn't have confidence in this kind of situation.

"Everything will be fine!" Homelander smiled confidently as if this were nothing.

Madelyn Stillwell was also aware that ninety percent of both Homelander's and Maeve's feats were fake, but she couldn't worry about that now. She needed to prove that the Seven weren't incompetent.

...

Homelander and Maeve flew to the plane—yes, this Maeve could fly. Upon arrival, Homelander used his X-ray vision to scan the plane and signaled to Maeve to follow him.

A tragedy was about to happen...

In another part of the world, a white cape was fluttering in the wind... this day will be remembered for a long time...
