SERENE'S POV～
We get to the mansion and since the doctors have already been informed everything has been made ready.
By we I mean Van,cam,angel,vince, marian and gio.they all tagged along worried about the stupid man who went in the way of that bullet.
Whoever ordered that shootout is about to face their worst nightmare as what happened today endangered the lives of someone I care about.
They should have prayed the bullet hit me instead of Enzo.
worry cannot explain how I feel at this moment as I try to calm my nerves.
Enzo is wheeled into the elevatorvas the room which he needs to be treated is on the other floor.
the others use the other elevator while I follow the two nurses.
''Is the doctor ready''I ask them my voice void of any emotion and sounding dead.
''Yes mistress''they answer in unison their voice trembling in fear.
Everybody knows to fear me when angry as it is not a pretty sight.
I nod at them ignoring their presence and just focus on convincing myself that this man is fine.
The elevator doors open and he is wheeled into the room where he is to be treated.
The doctor who has been working for me for a year now opens his mouth to say something but instantly shuts up when I shake my head at him.
hegets to work and I stay in the room while the others stay outside the room just waiting for the treatment to be over.
After some seconds the man successfully removes the bullet at his back which is now a bloodied mess.
''The bullet is laced with poison which is why it affected him to the extent of unconciousness''the doctor tells me and I nod at his words.
I already know that piece of informatio. Lorenzo is a don of a big organisation and no little bullet can bring him dowm easily so I guessed it must have had something in it.
After removing the bullet,he cleans the wound and injects him before bandaging the area.
moments later they are done and the sheets and everything else is changed to new sets before they all walk out.
I walk closer to Enzo's body just looking at the man's handsome and calm face.
His long lashes fan against his cheeks creating a shadow there which makes my crinckle my brows in envy.
Everything about this man screams perfection, from his beautiful full black midnight hair,to his smouldery stormy grey eyes,his beautiful plump pink lips or shar jawline covered with sturbbles.
Everything is perfect with him and that is how I know I don't deserve him.
''Stupid Enzo why would you get in the way of a bullet,I don't deserve all this lorenzo,I don't sometimes I wish you love someone else.someone better than I am that is able to make you smile''I tell him in a whisper my hands wrappng themselves around his.
''You deserve so much more than this Enzo, you should stop trying for someone like me I can never be that your Cara again''I say before standing and entering the bathroom there for a quick shower.
THIRD POV
Serene stands up to go to the washroom unknown to her Lorenzo opens his eyes sadness in them before he slowy closes them.
MEANWHILE IN THE OTHER COUPLES ROOM.
GIOVANNI AND CAMILLA
Camilla sits on the bed in the room while starring at giovanni who paces around the room worry on his face.
They were all given rooms to stay by the maids present in the mansion and since the other couples decided to stay together these two found theirselves stuck in the same room.
They had already showered and Giovanni stands there in only boxer shorts his upper body on full display.
Camilla looks at the man who is furious at her, her eyes trailing his body.she licks her lips looking at his abs that are more defined than they were three years ago.
she looks at his hard chest,the hard contours of his packs and finally her eyes trails lower to his V line,Camilla looks at the viens present there and she notices he has a small tattoo there.
Looking lower to were his V line gets lost in his shorts she can not help but wish she can see more.
'Stop being a whore camilla'she mentally scolds herself and clears her throat.
''Stop worrying so much,Enzo will be fine'' Camilla says hoping to calm the angry man down.
''Who askedyou to say something''Giovanni says the irritation clear in his voice and he turns glaring at her.
''I am just trying to help''Camilla tells him offended at his way of speaking.
She hisses and lies down comfortably on the bed while muttering under her breath.
''Get up''Giovanni tells her walking towards the bed.
Camilla sits up puzzled on why he wants her to suddenly sit on the bed.
''What''Camilla asks starring at him her eyes holding a puzzled gaze.
''You can't sleep on the bed go sleep on the couch''Giovanni tells her and Camilla's eyes widen at his words.
''You asked me to sit just to say that''Camilla asks and when he nods she curses at him before lying on the bed.
Giovanni stands there glaring at her before he walks to the other side of the bed.
Lying comfortably on the bed he brings out the other pillows putting them between them.
''Keep your fucking hands to yourself''Giovanni says before falling asleep.
Camilla just ignores his words.
VINCENZO AND ANGELINA'S ROOM
Vincenzo lies on the bed his woman in his arms who has not stop crying after her brother was shot.
''please stop crying baby''Vincenzo says rubbing soothing circles on angelina's back.
she sniffles and tries to contain her sobs. she has never seen her brother losing conciousness because of a bullet wound and it scares her.
''I-I wi-will he be alright''Angelina asks vincenzo raising her head which is placed on his chest to look into his eyes.
Vincenzo gazes into her eyes,the way her beautiful grey eyes looked at him seems to pull strings in his heart and he bends down placing a kiss on her lips.
''He will,now lets sleep''He reassures her and she nods,placing her body on his with her head resting on his chest he caresses her hair and they soon fall asleep.
MARIANO AND VANESSA
''Are you ok''Vanessa asks Mariano who sits at the edge of the bed without saying a word.
For a guy who loves to talk and have fun he is awfully silent and that was beginning to make her worried.
Mariano shakes his head at her words telling her how he isn't ok.
truthfully he is very worried about his brother who suddenly fainted.
They have been through alot together, missions and all that so he knows what his brother can take.
one bullet was never enough to bring him down but yet this one did.
''Why dont you come to bed,we can go see Enzo tomorrow''Vanessa tells him and he nods his head climbing on the bed.
Vanessa is shocked to find him pulling her body closer to his.
''What are you doing''She asks him puzzled and Mariano just looks at her aplayful smirk on his face.
''I need cuddles when I am sad''He says before placing his head on her chest.
Vanessa rolls her eyes at his words but allow him nevertheless.
