Third pov
Serena sits down starring into space with a confused expression on her face.
The office chair moves but she just continues starring into space. Strange things have been happening lately in their lives and on one hand it seems like theirs somebody secretly helping her, while on the other it seems there are too many people just waiting to destroy her.
She had made sure to destroy almost everybody related to her past, but still it is hard to find the real leader.
The man who was starring at her with nothing but cold eyes filled with something else behind his orbs.
A knock on her door makes her to come out of her state.
"Come in" Serena says and the door slides open to reveal Nathan.
"Nate" Serena says, the happiness evident in her voice as she stands up from her chair to go embrace him.
Nathan opens his arms when she falls into them and holds her tightly against his chest.
