It turned out that she was just hungry because of a good food dream, that shattered her heart as she woke up and realized that she didn't have it. Nick was quick with the food and after she was well fed, she checked on Rodger and went back to bed.
The Next Morning Rodger was healed enough to be able to move around fine. After breakfast they went to the Training Area, where they met up with Young Chef Josh who had Aaron and Emma with him. They got Rodger all set up with a place and other things that he would need for the Winter. After a quick 'Thank You' he left with a promise that he would repay them for their kindness.
Scarlet and her Males had an easy time after everything that had transpired the last few Weeks. After they came here it had just been One thing after another. It started with Killing both Matt and Tony, Jewel being her Joyful Self, dealing with all the traitors, death attempts, a mutiny, war, death, then Finally Peace.
The whole Clan was Finally settling down for the long Winter. Scarlet's group had begun to settle into this new routine the led into the Next Month. They were happy that they had this time to do what they wished as a Family in the safety of the Dark Rock Dragon Clan.
Scarlet was now showing a small baby bump and for the most part was able to keep her Emotions under control. The mood swings were not as bad and now they were able to walk around the place without other Emotions messing with her too much.
It was a quiet Morning just like any other with Scarlet enjoying her Breakfast that Travis was feeding her when she suddenly shot up and began to look around with a worried expression on her face. She was about to speak when there was a sudden pounding on the door.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Nick, who was already on alert, rushed over and seen that it was Elder Chef Blaze, and he was breathing heavily and his face Red. It was as if he had just run Two Marathons without stopping for a break.
Nick tried to usher him in when Elder Chef Blaze said, "No no no, Please come with me now!"
Taking a few Seconds to catch his breath he continued "Emma is giving Birth. She is asking for the 'Great Spirit'."
Scarlet came rushing up with a worried expression and asked "Is she okay? Is there something wrong with Emma or the Young?!"
Elder Chef Blaze said "She is scared and wanting you there, but the Young are coming Now! So if you would please come with me."
Scarlet looked at him then her Males and said, "Doctor Sebastian, I need you and Travis to come with me and the rest of you stay here."
Travis and Doctor Sebastian were by her side in the blink of an eye. As soon as they reached her, Scarlet used her Energy to pull the Earth up around them and transport them to just outside the Delivery Room.
"Aaaaaaaaah"
"Aaaaaaaaah"
"'Spirit' help! It hurts!"
When Scarlet emerged from the Earth, she could hear Emma as clearly as if she were right next to her, the guard at the door opened it and quickly ushered her into the room. Travis was pushed up against the wall while Scarlet and Doctor Sebastian went over to Emma.
Emma was dripping in sweat that instantly reappeared as soon as Aaron wiped it away. Young Chef Josh was on the other side of her and trying his best to stay calm.
"I need 'Spirit' here now! I need her Please! Someone gets her! I'm scared! It HURTS!"
Scarlet's voice could be heard clearly over the sounds of Emma's screams and all the chaos in the room. "Emma I'm here. I will help but I need you to calm down First, okay?"
Since Scarlet could feel everyone's Emotions and she was also pregnant it was difficult to hold them back and as she tried to sound confident. She didn't look like it though, with all the tears that were running down her face.
Scarlet didn't look confident at all. In fact, she looked like she was about to throw herself into her Mates arms for comfort at any moment. But with just the sound of her voice had calmed Emma down considerably and this was the best thing that could happen.
Scarlet gave her instructions to Doctor Sebastian, and he began to make the pain killer for Emma as Scarlet began her examination.
It didn't take long for either to complete their tasks and Doctor Sebastian had rushed back over to Scarlet just as she popped her head out of the privacy sheet that covered Emma's lower half.
She looked so much better after Emma had calmed down and after Emma was given the very bitter pain medicine, she was finally able to take a deep breath for the First time since her labor had Begun.
Scarlet looked at Aaron and asked, "When did she start going into labor?"
He took a breath to calm his nerves as he thought about it and said about Twenty Minutes ago, she was complaining about a tightness in her stomach that slowly started to become worse as time went on."
After she got her answer, she then turned to Doctor Sebastian and said, "Have you ever delivered Snake Young Before?"
"Yes, my Love, Once when I was out on patrol but…" He trailed off and didn't want to finish what he was saying in front of Emma and her Mates, so he pulled Scarlet over towards Travis and Finished his explanation, "When I Found the Female she was beaten and abused. After I delivered the Young they were in eggs still and…"
He couldn't finish the rest because she had rejected the Young from the Unwanted Snake Male, and she ended up dying after she gave birth." With a sad look on his face, he Finished "The Young Snake Eggs were also lost, because No One would help to hatch them."
