Scarlet's heart sank at the news, but since she still had a job to do, they needed to be ready to go Now not Later. She took a breath and sealed her feelings as she turned to Doctor Sebastian and said, "I need you to understand that I haven't done this with a live person before is there anything that I need to know about the birthing process here?"
He didn't even need to think about it since the memory was still so fresh in his mind no matter how long ago it originally happened. Doctor Sebastian didn't need to give her the full run down because birth was all basically the same.
He said "When the eggs are born, they will be soft and very easy to break open. If that happens then they will die on the spot. Once One begins to come the rest will quickly follow. We need to have a way to keep them Warm or else their chances of living will dramatically drop."
Scarlet nodded in understanding and said "Okay. Be quick, easy, and keep them warm." Before she turned back to Emma she asked quickly "How many are there normally?"
With that he was about stumped. There were different numbers for different species of the Mother and Father is also to be taken into consideration. It can be Five or Twenty, there is no absolute way to tell. Although Emma does look like she has about Ten or Fifteen Eggs judging by the size of her stomach.
Emma suddenly grabbed Aaron and screamed at the top of her lungs,
"Aaaaaaah"
Doctor Sebastian and Scarlet ran back to her knowing that now was the time. She was giving birth.
After the Last Egg was delivered Emma had no strength left and soon fell asleep. Aaron was taking care of his Young while Young Chef Josh cleaned Emma up. In total there were Fifteen Eggs and that meant that they were going to have their hands full when they Finally hatched.
They were Soft and squishy yet ha a firmness about them. Inside the babies were curled up and looked similar to their Father. They were so cute, and Scarlet couldn't help but hope that when Alex and she had their babies of their own that they would look like him.
With her hand on her own baby bump she wondered just who's baby she had inside her right now. Who would it be her Fireball or Fanboy?
Since their job was Finally finished Scarlet was exhausted from dealing with all of the Emotions in the room. Travis carried her on his back and Doctor Sebastian had her covered up so that she could rest along the way.
When they made it back to the room it was already after Noon and the Ones that were left behind were getting impatient as they waited for her return. Since Scarlet was pregnant anything could throw her into an Emotional frenzy.
As the door opened Doctor Sebastian was the First person that they see and when he motioned for them to be quiet, he moved away for Travis to enter, and they see that Scarlet was asleep.
Nick who didn't know this rushed out and said happily, "I have Your Lunch ready my Love!"
As he entered the room, he seen that she was asleep and quickly closed his mouth and headed back to the kitchen. But as soon as he turned, he heard a sleepy voice ask, "Where are you taking my food?"
Everyone laughed and Travis walked over to the cough leaving Scarlet bouncing along the way as Travis laughed and walked. Scarlet couldn't help but laugh at all of the silliness and said "What is it Fireball? It sells so good! I love it!"
Making grabby hands she said "Come on Fireball One foot in front of the other. The Babies want the food."
He was at her side in the next Second saying "Hurry and open I'm waiting on you now." Then made the show of opening his mouth and saying "Aaahh!"
Scarlet decided to have some fun and put on a pouty face, which instantly broke his heart. As soon as Scarlet had succeeded in her mission, she quickly took a bite of the food that had been offered and savored the food.
Nick realized that he got punked and before he could react Scarlet had leaned forward and kissed him on the Cheek saying, "It tastes so good! Fireball I do believe that you have really outdone yourself! Babies and I are very happy!"
She gave him a smile and opened up for another bite. After she finished her Lunch, she stretched then snuggled into Travis' fur for a nap.
She had a strange dream as soon as she fell asleep, the strange dream then quickly turned into a Nightmare.
