Alex came up and said "Trust us and trust yourself. We will never be defeated by those that want to cause you harm and they will fall by our hands."
Scarlet felt some Comfort from their words and wanted to trust in them. This was her Family, and she will not lose Them like the Family that she lost before.
The Group crowded around Scarlet and giving her comforting remarks trying to make her feel better. When they were done Scarlet was no longer crying and had felt much better after the encouragement. She decided that she wouldn't let those from her past hurt anyone that she cared about anymore. She Was stronger than before and Will defend those she Loved.
As they were eating Doctor Sebastian asked "So 'Little Spirit' are there any fun and safe games from your World that we could play?"
Scarlet thought about it and then reached into the Earth, and everyone began to panic wondering just what she would pull out of the Ground. Scarlet smiled and pulled out a deck of cards, she said "Okay, I'll go over what each of the cards mean then give you a few different games and rules for each."
Scarlet named games like Go Fish, Blackjack, and Gin Rummy, then let them pick. She named Go Fish because she figured that it would be easier to learn the cards but what she got was a tie between the Three.
As it stood Nick and Alex wanted Blackjack, Travis and Doctor Sebastian wanted Gin Rummy, leaving Fuzzball and Soft Spot going with Go Fish. Scarlet just couldn't help but laugh and side with the babies. Since she was the deciding vote the no One said no, not that they would have anyway. She was the boss, and they were her soldiers.
They played Three rounds with Nick winning Two, leaving Doctor Sebastian with One win. The Kids Decided they didn't want to play anymore since they couldn't win and asked Scarlet to make golems to play with.
With the kids gone and the adults playing they took another vote. This time Blackjack won Three- to- One and they ended up playing that for about an hour then they switched to Gin Rummy. Nick turned out to be the best at cards. It was a surprise to everyone, even him, that he had a natural nak for them.
With about an Hour left of sunlight they decided to make food and talk. There were things that needed to be discussed and since Scarlet's head was finally cleared and feelings under control it was time to talk.
Since the kids were hungry and tired Nick quickly cooked up some roasted lamb and mixed vegetables. It was a good dinner that was quick and simple. The Little Ones needed to go to sleep so that the adults could talk.
When they finally went down for the night Scarlet told them the story about Scott. What he could do and her theory about why he would be after her. Scarlet didn't know what else to say about the matter and Doctor Sebastian held her cheek in his huge palm making her look at him to say "We will keep an eye out for him and keep you and the Young safe. We are some of the Strongest, Smartest, most Cunning Males in this World and we know more about this World then they do. We are going to Destroy them and save our World. You will never need to worry about anyone like them Ever again. Do you hear me 'Little Spirit'?
They all pitched in with encouraging words and Scarlet tried to take what they said to heart and believe in them. Which was hard because she kept regressing into that Little Girl that she had been Fearing everyone and everything when it came to her Family's murderers. They were something to be feared. Even though she talked a big game the fear was still there, and she did her best to fight through it. This was easier to do now because she had them.
Her Males were making things easier by being supportive and making her feel safe. Scarlet felt like she could take on the World with them by her side. She couldn't believe how much she Loved these Males in such a short time and how much she relied on them began to scare her.
Scarlet grabbed the closest Male and held on to him as tight as she could. She couldn't explain how she felt about everything, but she loved her Males and since they believed in her she would not let them down. Things were going to change and fast, they had to be ready for it.
There could be no more stalling, Scarlet had to get Travis trained and she had to make herself even stronger. When she looked up at the Male that she chose she seen that it was Travis with a small smile she said "We will move on tomorrow and get as far as we can before Noon then Kitty and I will need to train. I need him to know what I know and then we can figure out how to help me with my advances. With Scott being around I need to be ready for him."
