It would take almost a Month to reach the 'Dark Rock Dragon Clan' and that would make it close to Winter. The weather will be close to freezing at that point. With them getting close to the Dragon Territory it wouldn't be long before Scarlet had to face those Males. The group of Males had a silent agreement that they would help her even if it meant their lives.
The Next Morning, they moved on and made it far before Noon. Scarlet didn't say much, and the others didn't try and get her to talk either. They knew that when she was ready then she would talk. When they made it to the next camp site Doctor Sebastian took this opportunity to try and have some alone time with Scarlet.
He took her out to survey the area and look for some Plants and Herbs that they could use. While they were out searching Doctor Sebastian tried to get Scarlet to open up and said, "Have you seen this plant before?"
As Scarlet turned her attention to the plant in Doctor Sebastians hand and was shocked to see what was in it. What he had she couldn't name, but it looked like it was a mix between a Venus Flytrap and a Rose.
When she looked at him, she said "No I have not. It looks like it's a mix between Two different plants from My World. What does it do? Does it have any specific properties?"
Doctor Sebastian was happy about showing her something that she didn't know about and began to explain excitedly. The Plant was a Flesh-Eating plant that uses the Rose look to draw the victims in and then takes about a Days' time to digest them. Depending on the size of his Victim that is. It's called the 'Slow Death' plant. Once you have been grabbed you would need to burn it at the roots to save yourself.
Scarlet couldn't believe what she was hearing and decided to get a few seeds from the plant, thinking that they would be useful later. She could even experiment with it as well and make it stronger by splicing the genes.
When they were done looking for plants Nick had a lot of food ready when they got back. As they were all finishing up eating Scarlet decided that it was time to teach Travis about this Power that they shared.
The others didn't like it but since they were getting closer to the big battle, they needed to get ready.
Scarlet separated Travis and herself from the others and tried to get her thoughts under control before she started their First lesson together. When she was able to find the words, Scarlet began to tell what she knew about their 'Ability'. The History and the way that she understood how her, and her Masters Abilities worked.
After she finished speaking, she realized that she knows so much about the History she knew and just how Little she knew about the Ability itself. The whole time Travis didn't say anything and listened intently to everything that she had to say. Not wanting to miss a word because he knew how important they were and needed to be understood fully so that he could help her.
They were done by Late Afternoon and although Scarlet only spoke and didn't do anything physical Scarlet still felt more exhausted then if she worked out for Three days straight.
Travis held onto her and said "I think that's enough for today. I need time to process what was said today and we can do it again Tomorrow and I can ask any well-thought-out questions." He didn't want to overload her since he knew how hard this is for her to begin with.
Scarlet grabbed onto him weakly and said, "Why do I feel so tired Kitty?"
Squeezing his eyes shut he held her close and said "We have made it a long way today. You wouldn't let anyone carry you so that may have made you tired. Come on let's go back and you can take a Nap. How does that sound?"
Scarlet couldn't find it in herself to argue and let him carry her back and fell asleep along the way. She fell asleep along the way and snuggled into Travis' embrace. When they made it back and the others seen that she was asleep they told the kids to keep it down and Nick showed him to the bed for him to lay Scarlet upon.
She slept until after darkness overtook the land and when she awoke, she found that she was Starving. When she rolled over, she came face-to-face with Travis, and he smiled as he said "Hello my sweet 'Little Spirit' how are you? Are you ready to eat now or do you want to sleep?"
Clearing her through she was about to say food when she suddenly had a cup of water in front of her. Taking a sip and letting the water fill her mouth quenching her thirst she said "Food please. How are the kids? Are they okay?"
Nick said quietly "They have been fed and have just fallen asleep not too long ago. I have food here and it only needs to be heated up, and that won't take long." With that said he went to work on the fire and got her food ready for her.
Scarlet sat up slowly with Travis' help as Alex said "The Young were worried about you when you left. They weren't sure what was going on and were worried about you. We told them that you were just going to the train where it was safe, and Travis was there to keep an eye on you. They began to panic when you got back and were asleep. They thought that you got hurt practicing again. You need to make sure that they hear it from you next time."
Scarlet took in the information and said "Okay. I'll let them know that I'm not doing that Training. Did anything else exciting happen?"
Doctor Sebastian said "We have been trying to find out if anything was around but found nothing. I guess with our string of luck, we should count ourselves lucky that we aren't disturbed." At the End of the report Scarlet chuckled and said, "I'm glad that you agree with that."
The way that things have gone lately it was a nice little vacation if they didn't have any issues while they were traveling. There have been so many things that have happened lately. It seemed that every time they turned around there would be someone finding them 'begging them for help' or 'Trying to control her for their own twisted desires.'
Scarlet took it as a Win, and it was then Nick finished the food he came over to say "I have your food for you. Here open up." With that said Scarlet opened her mouth and was fed like a Happy Baby.
When she finished eating, she got up to go to the bathroom and on the way back she was grabbed by Doctor Sebastian. When they met up, she looked at him and said, "What's up Web Head?"
He walked forward quickly and said, "I just wanted to hold you as you slept my Sweet 'Little Spirit' Is that okay with you?"
Smiling at him she held out her arms and he scooped him up and said "I Love you my Sweet. You are always going to be my only Heart."
He carried her over to the bed which Travis vacated without a word leaving the space to them. Doctor Sebastian was so happy that he took the chance to get to hold Scarlet as she slept. It had been so long, and he never wanted this night to end.
As he wrapped her up in His Web Blanket, Doctor Sebastian couldn't hold in the Joy that filled his heart. He couldn't stop the Little Giggle that slipped through his lips and Scarlet gave a Giggle in return and gave him a Quick Kiss on the lips and said, "I love you Sweet Dreams Web Head."
Doctor Sebastian couldn't believe what she just did and said, "I love you too my sweet 'Little Spirit' I hope that you have Pleasant Dreams as well." With that said he held her close and never wanted to let go.
