Chapter 35: He Made the Decision for Her
Everything was so abrupt.
Loreen was scared to suddenly get married since she knew she wasn't ready, but Edric made the decision for her by stamping the documents with her fingers.
She wanted to pick a fight with him but didn't want to stress herself even more since it might be dangerous to the baby.
Loreen did her best to look at the bright side of things instead.
At least she wouldn't have to worry about a lot of things now that they were registered.
Most importantly, her baby would grow up with a father.
"I won't change my mind anymore. We are already registered. I can't back out now," Loreen tried to persuade him to delay the ceremony.
"No. It must be today. We can hold another ceremony later and you can invite all the guests you want."
Edric could not be persuaded otherwise since he was worried she might change her mind again.
"Alright," Loreen sighed in exasperation.
