Chapter 24: Meeting Him Again
"I finally found you, Lori."
Edric's voice shattered the silence in the room and Loreen felt her breath caught in her throat.
'What is he doing here?!!'
She blinked repeatedly trying to discern if this was reality or just a nightmare she had in daytime. Maybe she fell asleep for a bit.
But Edric was still there as she opened her eyes again. She pinched her hand and she could feel it.
'He's really here! What should I do?!'
Loreen realized she needed to leave this place first.
She needed to get out of here.
She wanted to run away from him.
But she was simply frozen stiff where she stood.
Edric was with Leo, his personal assistant.
There was another man Loreen did not recognize. He was wearing shades, a cap, and a mask so she had no way of telling who he was.
Leo and the mysterious man rose and left the room.
