Chapter 15 - CH 15 - Rescue mission II

As I looked at three green man that were on guard, I noticed that there was a bell strapped to wooden contraption nearby.

"That bell is most likely alarm; we can't let them ring it. Brook you will shoot at one in the middle. Me and Karla will try to get to ones on the sides as close as we can. We need them to drop fast and without touching that bell. OK?"

Both girls nodded.

"OK Karla, pick a side. Right or left?"

She looked at the guards for a moment and spoke. "They are on the right while the bell is on the left.  I will take the right side; you take the left."

"OK, let's go. Brook, prepare to shoot the moment they see us or we attack please."

"OK Vic."

I turned to Sheela. "You wait here and make sure nobody gets to Brook."

And lastly, I turned to Karla. "Karla when you feel that I am in position just rush them head on. OK?"

Karla just smiled and nodded.

We both left towards the entrance in roundabout way. It was already dark; street lights didn't work so the only sources of light was moon and fire they had going on. There were a lot of trees and bushes planted around the entrance so we could just use them to slowly close the distance to the three orcs and kill them fast.

It took me about 10 minutes to slowly approach my side of the entrance. I was waiting for Karla to charge the green fuckers. And I didn't have to wait for long. The moment my petite berserker girlfriend felt that I stopped moving she did what she did best. Charged straight into enemy.

She ran out of the bushes with axe held high. Two orcs ran towards her and one ran to rang the bell. Brook shot one of the ones heading for Karla dropping him on the spot, Karla beheaded remaining one that was running towards her and the one running towards bell ended with his head shattered by me.

Each one of the orcs dropped blue chest. So, I collected them while we were waiting for Brook and Sheela to come.

"So those are orcs." Brook spoke as she was closing to us.

"Orc soldiers to be precise." I spoke.

"They are not so tough." Karla spoke.

"Something is telling me that soldiers won't be the toughest ones they have to offer." I spoke.

Both girls nodded and we slowly checked out inside of the soccer stadium.

There were no orcs at the entrance of the stadium. The only light here being the moonlight that got  in through the glass parts of the roof. It was relatively simple stadium. It had just three rooms one could enter. Two of them being right at the entrance under seating area. One of them being room for maintenance and janitors, second room was place from which all lighting and stuff was controlled. Third one was in the middle of stands on the opposite side of stadium. It was small commentary boot.  Outside of that there just seating area all around the playing field and playing field itself. It had massive walls and it was covered by the roof. It was a good place to set up camp since it had only one entrance and it was relatively easily guarded; it had no windows outside of huge glass tiles on the roof and it even had diesel generator. Orcs didn't used most of this, from the looks of it they used it because it had nice grass since we could see tents raised on the grass.

I pointed to the room on the left that had control for the lights and we entered the room. It was not locked, since the main gate was sturdy and always locked but by the looks of it was not very resistant against the axes and swords.

Once we entered the room, I closed the door.

"It looks like they have about 10 tents. What do you think what should we do?"

"I would let Brook to go high up and snipe, we should turn on the generator, lights and the siren. And after that just run at them while they are confused." Karla spoke.

"Siren?" Brook asked.

"You never watched the matches here; every goal and every half time and end of the match loud siren is pressed and it screams like hell. All we need to do for it run continuously is to stuck something like this in there." She pulled out the hair clip from her hair.

"Sounds good, Karla. Brook, you go find a sniping post. There is a ladder in the back of this room, somewhere over there, it leads directly to the seats."

Brook nodded and went to the corner of the room after few seconds she spoke.

"Found it."

She quickly started to go up the ladder and after another few seconds she gently opened the lid that was on top, this allowed some moonlight to illuminate the room. She looked around outside the room and then stuck her head back down.

"Give me minute and then start the show. I can see perfect spot."

"OK."

She went out and headed to her sniping spot. I started the diesel generator and prepared for the show. About 30 second after that Karla quickly turned on the lights and sirens.

Right after that all three of us. Me Karla and Sheela ran out the small room towards the playing field. We saw a group of confused orcs waking up and exiting the tents. Not knowing what is going on.

We didn't waste any time and started the slaughter. I went into the middle, Karla right and Sheela left. All the while Brook started sniping orcs as they were leaving the tents from behind of us.

Now that there was light, we could see that there were five big long tents on the outer perimeter of the orcish camp. These were surrounding five smaller tents, which were surrounding one rather small but very tall tent.

We started by each entering one of the big tents on the outer layer. In the one I entered were orcs that looked very similar to the ones from before. I quickly dispatched them while they were surprised and disorganized.

After that I quickly cut the hole on the other side of the tent and ran out towards the inner parts of the camp. Right in front of me I saw One bigger orc with two axes and around him bunch of the standard fodder orcs. The moment I jumped out of the tent he pointed a finger at me and screamed something I could not understand. After that fodder orcs ran towards me. I smiled when I saw him remain standing in the place. I quickly took care of the orcs and ran towards him. Orcs were very strong but they had one glaring weakness they were also very slow.

I could feel that Sheela is not sucking my mana for healing and Karla was not asking for assistance and I could feel her advancing in the tent so I knew both are fine. So, I could engage orc with two axes without worries. I still wanted to end it quickly since I didn't want to give the orcs chance to properly regroup.

I ran up to the dual wield orc and tested his speed by trying to stab at his chest. He dodged, but didn't manage to dodge entirely and I was able to pierce his arm. Small layer of ice covered the arms and I stepped back. He swung my way twice, once with each axe. I could see when the second swing from the hand that was hit was a lot slower. So, I dodged to the side and stabbed two more times into the same hand.

As he was about to swing at me once again and move the hand that was now completely covered by ice. The hand shattered to small pieces of ice. This surprised the orc and it also visible hurt a lot since I could see pained expression on his face before I stabbed him into the head because he gave me big enough opening to do that that due to stumbling. His head shattered to million little shards of ice and his body collapsed.

To the right I could see Karla already fighting similar dual wielding guy and she had him on the ropes. On the other I saw Sheela with same opponent but struggling a lot. I quickly ran towards Sheela. When she saw me running towards her, she moved to the opposite side. Orc turned after her and tried to attack. But before he could finish the swing, my rapier already pierced his head from behind.

That's when I saw group of standard orcs lead by another dual wielding orc running towards me.

"Go help Karla, Sheela." I sent Sheela to Karla since there was high chance that the similar group was running towards her.

I also quickly raised my hand and pointed towards Karla. Hoping that Brook would get that and help Karla manage the situation.

After that I prepared for the incoming group. Dual wielding orc ran few meters before the rest of the group. He jumped high into the air and swung downwards towards me. I quickly dodged and stabbed his leg few times, covering it with ice completely. I knew after seeing it on the previous orc that his leg would shatter if he tried to move. So, I ignored him for now and turned my attention to the pack of normal orcs. It took just a few second to dispatch the group of very slow opponents and then I turned back to the dual wield orc.

As I thought, his leg shattered when he tried to stand up so he was just a sitting duck so I quickly finished him and ran to towards Karla and Sheela.

As I came to them, I only managed to see Karla beheading the second dual wielding orc while normal orcs were already laying on the ground dead. Some of them torn by Sheela some pierced by arrows.

As the last orc fallen, we heard a voice.

"You worthy, come challenge Buwagh. Kuvaztaa!!!"
