Kitanna sniffled when she heard Khelan's voice, she pressed her forehead against Nix's chest before stepping back a little to face her brother.
"My guard here helped me up. I couldn't stand properly at the sight of blood," Kitanna responded, smiling faintly at her brother.
Nix, still in his position, made no comment. His face held no expression as he continued to stare at the princess blankly.
"Yeah, that's why I came back. I thought you might need emotional support more than anyone. Your eunuch will be released after a few investigations, but I'll make sure he's taken care of," the king spoke calmly.
