[MUSIC RECOMMENDATION: THE DEVIL DOESN'T BARGAIN ~ ALEC BENJAMIN]
Almaria stood at the palace entrance, waiting for her cousin. The weather was dark and gloomy, with the heavy breeze blowing the trees in the palace back and forth.
Almaria's garment was not spared by the heavy wind, but she didn't make an attempt to go back inside the palace.
The head maid, Lady Aggie, walked to stand beside the queen dowager with her head still bowed.
"Queen dowager, the weather is too harsh for you. Please step inside, and I will escort your guest once she arrives," Aggie said politely.
Almaria ignored the words that were directed to her and continued to stand outside the palace, watching out for any carriage that would come by.
"My cousin is not someone I should sit back in the comfort of my room and wait for," Almaria murmured under her breath.
