Kaito chapter 44

Kaito grinned proudly. "I'm on a squad with Itachi and Hotaru, so that's exciting," he said as they left the sealing room and started walking towards the kitchen. "And my sensei is Shikaku Nara."

Kushina hummed thoughtfully as she sliced vegetables for dinner. "Shikaku huh…. well, he was good friends with your father and is also the jonin commander under Minato." She shared stories about Shikaku's bravery and skill as they prepared their

The early morning sun cast a golden light over the village hidden in the leaves, its inhabitants just starting to stir for the day ahead. In the Uzumaki residence, Kaito stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his forehead protector with a satisfied nod. "Hmmm," he murmured to himself before leaving his room and making his way to the kitchen.

"Good morning, Mom," Kaito called out cheerfully as he entered the bustling kitchen. Kushina, who had just finished cooking breakfast, smiled warmly at her son. "Good morning, Kaito-kun. Come, come, I just finished your breakfast," she said as she gestured for him to take a seat.

Sitting down at the table, Kaito took a bite of his food and couldn't help but let out a pleased hum. "Hmmm... delicious, Mom," Kaito remarked with a contented sigh.

Kushina giggled happily. "I'm glad you love my cooking." She then turned her attention to little Naruto, who was seated on her lap and being fed by her. He babbled happily in response.

Looking back at his mother, he asked, "What are you going to do today, mom?" while taking another bite of his breakfast.

Kushina looked up at Kaito, her red hair spilling over her shoulders as she fed baby Naruto. "I'll be taking Naru-chan to the hospital for a check-up later this afternoon," she said.

Kaito nodded in understanding, his dark eyes serious and determined. "I'll leave a shadow clone with you then," he replied.

Kushina's eyes widened in surprise. "What? But I thought your sensei was testing your team today...you should hold yourself back, Kaito."

But Kaito shook his head firmly. "Your well-being and Naruto's are more important...besides, I've been using shadow clones for over a year now and I'm used to it."

Due to Kushina's injury, she couldn't use chakra and didn't know that Kaito had his clones guarding her. He hadn't told her because he didn't want her to feel like a burden on him. It was his duty to protect her and Naruto.

Kushina sighed, knowing she couldn't change Kaito's mind when it came to this issue.

After finishing his breakfast, Kaito checked the clock and stood up. "Well, I better be off then, Mom. Hotaru will be waiting for me."

"Don't forget your lunch," Kushina reminded him, handing him his lunch box.

Kaito took it with a small smile and leaned down to kiss Kushina on the cheek before ruffling Naruto's wild hair.

He strapped his tanto to his back and slipped on his sandals before creating a shadow clone.

"I'm off, Mom. See you later," he called out as he left the house.

"Good luck! And give it your all!" Kushina's voice trailed after him as she stood at the front of the house, holding baby Naruto in her arms while Kaito's clone stood beside her. She watched them until they were out of sight, her heart filled with pride for her son and his determination to protect their family.

After walking a considerable distance, Kaito halted and created ten shadow clones with a swift movement of his hands. "You know what to do," he commanded, the authority in his voice clear. The clones all responded in unison with a respectful "Hai, boss" before dispersing to their designated locations.

With that taken care of, Kaito leapt onto the nearest trees and began hopping towards the Hyuga compound. His movements were fluid and graceful, almost like a dance as he effortlessly navigated through the branches.

After a few minutes of traversing through the canopy, he caught sight of the imposing gates of the Hyuga clan. Standing near the entrance was his friend Hotaru Hyuga, her long hair pulled back into a high ponytail.

Kaito landed gracefully next to Hotaru and gave her a warm smile. "Good morning, Hotaru-chan. Have you been waiting long?" he asked, his gaze lingering on her features.

Hotaru shook her head, returning his smile. "Good morning, Kaito-kun. No, I just arrived," she replied.

"Let's not keep Itachi waiting then," Kaito said as he gestured for Hotaru to follow him. She complied with a simple "Hai" before jumping onto the treetops with him.

As they made their way towards training ground 23, their conversation flowed easily, both friends enjoying each other's company. They kept a moderate pace, taking in the sights and sounds of the forest around them.

As they approached the training ground, Kaito could already feel Itachi's chakra signature. He turned to Hotaru and said excitedly, "Itachi is already there."

They both landed gracefully on the clearing, their footsteps sinking softly into the grass. In the center of the area stood Itachi, effortlessly balancing a kunai on his finger.

Kaito waved at his friend and called out, "Yo, Itachi! Have you been waiting long?"

Itachi shook his head and replied, "No, I just arrived."

Hotaru greeted Itachi with a respectful bow and said, "Good morning, Itachi-san."

"Good morning, Hotaru-san," Itachi returned the greeting with a small nod.

Kaito couldn't contain his curiosity any longer and asked, "So, have you guys found any information about our sensei?"

Itachi nodded solemnly and replied, "My father informed me that members of the Nara clan possess the ability to manipulate shadows and use them as weapons."

Hotaru chimed in with her own knowledge, saying, "And my father told me that Shikaku-sensei is not only the strongest member of his clan, but also incredibly intelligent."

Kaito hummed in thought. "Interesting... I also heard that he served as Konoha's chief strategist during the 3rd Shinobi War and was under my father's command when he was Hokage."

Both Itachi and Hotaru nodded in agreement.

Just as they were discussing their upcoming training session with their new sensei, Kaito suddenly sensed someone approaching the training ground. He turned to face the direction of the chakra signature and soon

Shikaku's gaze rested upon his genin team, a small smirk forming on his lips. "Good... your guys are here," he remarked, nodding in approval. Retrieving a bell from his pouch, he continued, "Alright, the task is simple. I want you to be able to get this bell from me. I've set this timer to go off in an hour and a half." Placing the bell on top of a wooden post, he then added, "Come at me with the intention to kill and don't hold back."

Tying the bell securely to his waist, Shikaku turned to face his students. "Any questions?" They shook their heads in unison, their determination evident in their eyes.

"Alright then, begin!" Shikaku declared, his voice projecting confidence and challenge.

As soon as the words left his mouth, the three genin disappeared in a blur of speed, utilizing their body flicker technique. Seeing this, Shikaku's smile widened in satisfaction. "Good," he thought to himself, "they are smart and eager to

A short distance away from where Shikaku stood, Itachi, Kaito, and Hotaru landed crouched. Kaito's intense gaze swept over the area as he turned to Hotaru.

"Can you keep your Byakugan focused on Sensei, Hotaru-chan?" She nodded in response and activated her special ability, allowing her to see everything around them with precision.

Kaito then turned to Itachi and Hotaru and asked, "So, do you guys have any plans?" Both shook their heads, and Itachi added, "I don't think any plan we make will be useful against Sensei."

Kaito agreed, "I thought the same. It won't help with someone who has the experience like Sensei. I think we should come up with a planned first attack and then adapt as needed, relying on our teamwork."

They both nodded in agreement. Kaito continued, "Alright, here's what we'll do." The trio huddled together to discuss their strategy, their voices low but determined as they prepared for their upcoming battle against their

Standing in the center of the clearing, Shikaku stood with his eyes closed and his hands nonchalantly tucked into his pockets. He knew they were coming - he could feel their presence approaching through the trees. Suddenly, a barrage of sharp shuriken came flying towards him from the surrounding bushes. Shikaku, ever the experienced jonin, effortlessly lept and dodged out of harm's way.

But then something unexpected happened - the shuriken began to change direction, curving and twisting until they were aimed directly at the spot where Shikaku had just landed. "Ninja wire," he thought quickly as he reached for his kunai and expertly deflected some of the projectiles. Just as he was about to deflect another, a cloud of smoke burst forth from where the shuriken had originated.

Out from the dissipating smoke emerged Kaito, wielding his lethal tanto and launching a surprise attack on Shikaku. The seasoned jonin, Shikaku barely managed to block Kaito's aggressive slash with his own kunai. The clash of metal echoed through the clearing as

Kaito seeing his slash blocked by Shikaku's kunai, let out a cocky smirk and whispered the word "boom." In an instant, he exploded.

Shikaku, quick on his feet, leapt out of harm's way as the shadow clone burst into bits. "An exploding shadow clone...What a drag," he muttered with annoyance.

But before he could fully recover, Hotaru charged at him with ferocity, her body poised in the Gentle Fist stance. "Eight Trigrams 32 Palms!" she declared.

With swift precision, Hotaru unleashed all 32 palms on Shikaku, each strike landing with powerful force. As she delivered her final blow, Shikaku seemed to puff into thin air and transform into a wooden log.

Observing this, Hotaru realized it was a substitution jutsu. "substitution " she muttered to herself.

But just as she turned to scan her surroundings, a shadow stretched towards her from a nearby tree. In a split second, the shadow lunged at her with alarming speed. However, thanks to her activated Byakugan, Hotaru saw that her sensei was attempting to bind her with his shadow manipulation technique.

Reacting quickly, Hotaru attempted to dodge but found herself immobilized as the shadow wrapped tightly around her body. Just when it seemed like she was caught for good, the shadow suddenly dissipated into thin air - revealing itself to be another clone of Shikaku's. "A shadow clone..." Shik

But before Shikaku could finish his thoughts, he was forced to leap out of his hiding place as a massive fireball obliterated the spot where he had just been standing. The heat and force of the blast pushed him back, causing him to stumble and fall into the open clearing. Ahe leapt out of his hiding place and landed back in the clearing. Before him stood all three of his opponents, their eyes locked on him with determined glares. Kaito nodded coolly at them and they charged towards Shikaku

With a swift and fluid motion, Kaito reached Shikaku first and slashed his tanto vertically. Shikaku agilely jumped back, narrowly avoiding the attack as Hotaru appeared by his side with a palm strike. Shikaku had quick reflexes and sidestepped her strike, dodging it easily. But before he could catch his breath, Itachi was already upon him with a flurry of fists. As he fought off Itachi's attacks, Shikaku couldn't help but notice the two tomoe sharingan already activated in his eyes.

In a moment of respite, Shikaku jumped back to create some space between himself and his attackers. However, Kaito had anticipated this move and had already prepared for it. Bringing half of his hand to his mouth, he spoke an incantation - "Suiton Mizurappa" (Water Release: Water Trumpet) - and released a powerful burst of water towards Shikaku.

Simultaneously, Kaito's clone beside him chanted ""Raiton: Jinraisen"(Lightning Release: Thunderclap Arrow)

As the attacks collided, a fierce torrent of water crackled with electricity and surged towards Shikaku. The older shinobi watched as it approached, thinking to himself, "How troublesome...". Without hesitation, he performed a series of hand seals and called out, "Earth Release: Earth Wall!", causing an enormous barrier of earth to rise up from the ground and block Kaito's attack.

The force of Kaito's strike hit the solid wall with a tremendous impact. Shikaku couldn't help but marvel at the fact that this young ninja was already able to use two nature transformations at only 7 years old. However, his thoughts were quickly interrupted as Hotaru, Kaito, and Itachi landed in front of him.

Reacting swiftly, Shikaku formed another set of hand signs and activated his signature technique, "Kage Mane no Jutsu" (Shadow Imitation Technique). His shadow stretched out towards the three opponents, intent on ensnaring them. The trio jumped and evaded, trying to avoid being caught in Shikaku's control.

In the chaos of the battle, Kaito threw a handful of explosive kunai at Shikaku. In an instant, they multiplied into a barrage of 50 projectiles, bombarding the area where Shikaku stood. He had no choice but to release his jutsu and jump away for safety.

As he landed and regained his footing, Shikaku found himself face-to-face with Hotaru, Kaito, and Itachi once again. wasted no time engaging him in close combat using taijutsu techniques.

As Shikaku swiftly kicked Kaito away with a roundhouse kick, he simultaneously dodged Hotaru's attack and grabbed her outstretched hand. With a powerful throw, he launched her towards Itachi, taking them both down in one fluid movement. As they all lay on the ground, Shikaku jumped back to his feet and taunted, "Is that all you've got?"

Kaito, Itachi, and Hotaru stood up and shared a knowing nod before rushing at Shikaku with full force. Kaito engaged him in close combat while Itachi followed up with his own taijutsu moves. They moved with perfect synchronization, complementing each other's attacks flawlessly.

Just as it seemed like Shikaku was about to be overwhelmed by their combined strength, he spotted an opening for Hotaru to use her Eight Trigrams 32 Palms technique. In a last-ditch effort to defend himself, Shikaku attempted to use his Shadow Possession jutsu. But Kaito, who had jumped away in anticipation, activated a seal that caused black markings to appear on Shikaku's skin, paralyzing him completely.

Shikaku's cursed in his mind as he realized the trap he had fallen for - "a paralysis seal." Memories of Kaito catching his arm flashed through his mind, and he knew that was when it had been placed. But now, watching Hotaru confidently execute the eight trigram 32 palms, Shikaku closed his eyes and braced himself for the attack.

But suddenly, a faint jingling sound reached his ears and he opened his eyes to see his genin standing in front of him while Hotaru held a small bell. As Kaito released the paralysis seal on Shikaku, Hotaru couldn't help but giggle while showing off their prize. Itachi nodded in approval.

"We win...ah sensei," Kaito said proudly. Shikaku stretched his body after the seal was released and chuckled, "I guess you did." He then turned to them and announced, "From today onwards, you are officially Team 11. All three of you have shown great teamwork and your individual skills complement each other perfectly."

Shikaku gazed up at the sky before turning back to his team and saying, "Come on...I'll treat you all to lunch and we can discuss your upcoming training." With that, he began walking towards the village, his genin following closely behind him. Kaito, Hotaru, and Itachi exchanged excited looks before eagerly following their new sensei. It was the beginning of a new chapter for Team 11.
