Chapter 141 - 141. Pagoda.

"What else do we have here?" I muttered, continuing to browse through the list of abilities.

One immediately caught my attention:

Craft Master Pagoda – Grants entry into the pagoda, providing specialized workshops and tools for various crafts, including alchemy, talismans, blacksmithing, cooking, brewing, and more. The higher the floor and the spirit ring's age, the better the tools provided. Additionally, external tools can be absorbed and enhanced within the pagoda.

That sounded promising. Without hesitation, I selected it. My fourth spirit ring materialized, and within the pagoda, a transformation occurred.

New rooms emerged—each designed for a specific craft. A fully equipped smithy appeared, complete with a high-quality furnace and an array of exquisite tools. A spacious kitchen followed, stocked with top-tier cooking utensils. A brewing station took shape, filled with barrels, fermenting vats, and distillation apparatus. Finally, an alchemy lab materialized, complete with cauldrons and an assortment of intricate instruments for potion-making and talisman crafting.

I took a closer look. Faint, shimmering runes adorned every tool.

"These have all been refined a thousand times…" I murmured, recognizing their exceptional quality.

Eager to see more, I ascended to the fourth floor. The tools here were even more refined—on the verge of being classified as spiritual artifacts. Their craftsmanship was leagues above what was available outside, capable of improving product quality by at least 40%. Even the fire used for cooking and forging burned with a superior essence, surpassing any ordinary flame. It was certainly an upgrade from my usual reliance on my own fire and lightning.

"Man, the Glazed Tile Clan really wasted the potential of their spirits," I muttered, shaking my head.

Turning my attention back to the floating spirit rings, another ability stood out.

Resource Pagoda – Grants entry into the pagoda, enabling item storage. Given enough time and spirit energy, stored materials can be replicated and grown within the pagoda. This includes minerals, liquids, herbs, spices, food, clothing, and more. The higher the floor and the spirit ring's age, the better the materials produced and the faster the production rate.

Come to Daddy!

My fifth ring formed, and another shift occurred within the pagoda. This ability required an initial supply of resources to start the process. For example, if I placed an iron ingot on the first floor, it would gradually multiply, producing iron over time. The material would be available on every floor, but the higher the floor, the faster the production rate. However, higher-grade materials, like cold steel, couldn't be stored on the first floor—it would require a more advanced level.

This filled in some of the gaps left by my Gate of Babylon. I already had a way to replenish liquids, but now I could generate minerals, food, and even textiles!

Upon reaching the fifth floor, I examined the tools once more. This time, they radiated a subtle spirituality, their quality now bordering on legendary. Using them would result in a staggering 50% increase in both craftsmanship and efficiency.

It was at this moment that the girls outside finally noticed the towering nine-floor pagoda shimmering in radiant lights at the heart of my inner world.

Drawn by curiosity, they approached and stepped inside—only to immediately feel its effects.

With every floor they climbed, their bodies reacted. Old training injuries healed as if they had never existed. Impurities seeped from their pores, expunged by the pagoda's cleansing properties. Their minds sharpened, their thoughts clearer than ever before. And of course, they took note of the increasingly sophisticated tools on each level, as well as the thick, nourishing spirit energy saturating the space.

I smirked as I watched their growing awe.

I had one more ring I could select for now.

Spirit Ascension Pagoda – Grants entry into the pagoda, creating a specialized artificial combat arena filled with simulated spirit beasts. These spirit beasts can be defeated to absorb their rings, enhancing existing spirit rings. Additionally, they have a chance to drop spirit bones, which can also be absorbed. The higher the floor and spirit ring's age, the stronger the spirit beasts and the greater the energy absorbed.

Perfect! This ability provided an efficient way to obtain spirit bones and strengthen our spirit rings without relying on live spirit beasts. More importantly, it offered valuable combat experience—something we were currently lacking since we hadn't faced many real opponents.

As I confirmed my selection, my sixth spirit ring materialized, and another transformation swept through the pagoda. A new floor emerged, along with a dedicated combat chamber designed for training and spirit ascension.

Without hesitation, I ascended to the newly formed sixth floor, eager to see what awaited me inside.

Just like the previous floors, the density of spirit energy increased significantly. The tools were of even higher quality, their craftsmanship bordering on the extraordinary, and the purifying effect of the pagoda became even more potent.

I could barely contain my excitement at the thought of unlocking the seventh, eighth, and ninth floors. At this rate, there was no doubt that divine-quality tools would eventually emerge.

I couldn't help but wonder—would this be enough to make even the gods envious? Imagining the look on Hephaestus's face if she saw these tools was amusing. While they might not be true divine artifacts like the ones she forged, the gap was closing with each level I unlocked. The stronger I became, the closer I would get to reaching that pinnacle.

I smirked to myself. When I return to Danmachi, I'll definitely have to show off a little.

For now however I'll have to continue cultivating to get more spirit rings, no doubt this will be even faster with my new pagoda.
