The heels on her boots clicked against the stone steps to her cousin's house. Starlet held a large box in her arms and her purse hung from the chain strap on her shoulder and came down to bounce a little below her hip. She got to the door and it opened before she could start wondering how to ring the doorbell.
"Need any help?" Richard asked.
He was dressed in sweats and an unzipped hoodie. He had nothing under the hoodie so Star could see his chest and his feet were bare.
"Sure," Star said and shoved the box into his hands, "Be careful with it, it's precious, fragile, and expensive cargo."
"What is it?" Richard asked as he turned and took the box inside. Starlet walked in and closed the door behind herself. The room was a large open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen.
Richard carefully placed the box onto his custom-made glass dining table and Star was on his heels.
