The woman in the man's arms lifted her head, "Who is this?"
The man said, "My colleague."
The woman with glasses heard these three words and looked at him in disbelief for a long time, tears streaming down her face, "What did you say?"
"Aren't you my colleague?" he retorted, leaving the woman at a loss for words.
Clearly not wanting to cause a scene in front of his friends, he whispered soothingly to the woman in his arms, then stood up and said to the woman with glasses, "Let's go outside to talk if you have anything to say."
The woman stood still in her place.
The man impatiently said, "Well, do you want to talk or not? If not, just leave."
The woman bit her lip and followed the man outside.
Lu Jingyan watched the two leave the bar and turn left out of sight before taking his eyes off them.
He picked up his glass, leisurely finished the remaining bit of his drink, then took two banknotes out of his bag to place under the glass before getting up and leaving the bar.
