Lu Jingyan herself didn't know she could talk so much.

Lu Jingyan brought her face close to Sheng Xian, "Or are you saying you actually want a real 'muah'?"
Sheng Xian turned his head away, "Get out of the car."
"Such a prude," Lu Jingyan muttered under her breath as she unbuckled her seat belt, preparing to push the car door, when she suddenly turned her head, "Brother, want to come in for a bit?"
Sheng Xian snapped his seat belt open with a slap.
Before he could get around to pull her out of the car, Lu Jingyan, with a smiling face, added, "Next time, I'll take you home."
After she finished speaking, Lu Jingyan opened the car door. Just before she got out, as if she thought of something, she leaned over to the car window and breathed on it twice.
The night was a bit cold, and her breath quickly fogged up the glass; she quickly drew something on the window with her finger, leaving a goodbye message before closing the door and walking away.
Sheng Xian reversed and turned around, and through the mirror, he saw the heart she had drawn on the passenger side window with her breath slowly disappear under the warm air of the air conditioning.

Lu Jingyan didn't know if it was because she met Bo Mu, but she had a nightmare that night.
In the dream, she desperately screamed for help; no one came despite her throat being raw from yelling, and the despair and darkness suffocated her until she thought she would die in the dream. Then, she woke up.
The room was very quiet, so quiet she could hear her own heavy breathing.
The sleep lamp by her bed quietly illuminated the entire room, and she lay in bed for a while, then lifted her hand to feel the wetness at the side of her ear.
She got out of bed to wash her face, and when she came out, she was completely wide awake.
She sat in the chair in front of the window on her bare white legs, lighting a cigarette.
It had been a long time since she had such a nightmare.
These dreams were not her creations; they were things that had actually happened.
They were nightmares she desperately wanted to forget but couldn't.
Late into the night, Lu Jingyan smoked one cigarette after another until the pack was empty, then hugged her knees and buried her face in them.
Just when she thought she would spend the night like she used to, sitting up all night unable to sleep until daylight, her phone suddenly rang.
It was a WeChat message.
Clicking on it, she saw a red notification at the top.

Sheng Xian prepared for classes at home for a while, and by the time it was over, it was almost 2:30 AM.
Returning to the bedroom, he unfastened the top two buttons of his collar with one hand, lifted his shirt up and peeled it off, tossing it casually into the laundry basket in the dressing room and walking into the bathroom to turn on the shower.
Hot water cascaded down from the ceiling, and soon the bathroom was shrouded in steam. Watching the droplets race down the walls, he thought of her leaning on the table in front of the café's floor-to-ceiling windows.
After coming out of the bathroom, he picked up his phone.
There were a few more unread messages, sent two hours ago by her. There was also a new notification in the WeChat contacts – an invite from her.
Sheng Xian stared at the screen silently for two seconds, tapped to view and accepted her friend request.
Sheng Xian dimmed the room's lights, ready to put the phone down to sleep, when his phone vibrated in his palm.
He looked down and saw a message from her.
Lu Jingyan: "So, big bro, are we going through the motions or are we gonna get together straight away?"
