As the Ghost trudges with each step towards the beam focuser, Juno and the others panic.
"Juno what happened?"
"THE GHOST IS IN THE BEAM!"
"I'm on it!"
Inferno and some of his men race over to collider to lower the power of the beam. The Overlord and his team focus on keeping the New World Order soldiers away from the collider. Everyone could hear the beam scrambling to rush past the armored Ghost in its path.
Juno and Liberty Bell rush into action to help Inferno and his team, along with the Watcher and Barbara.
However, the Ghost reached the beam's source. It had a set of rotating arms, and all he needed to do is hold the arms shut to overload the collider. The ODPA was giving him alerts of all kinds as he began to close the arms. The energy beam began to shrink in size, and the heat began to intensify. as the focus became much more concentrated, the ODPA was having trouble keeping cool. The cooling fan had begun to melt, and the Ghost was using all his strength and anger to close the arms. He took a large breath of the adrenaline chemical, and yelled as he passed the seventy-five percentage of the way closed mark. The Ghost yelled with all his might and slammed the shutter shut, and held it down. The ODPA was glowing bright orange as the Ghost used his hammer to lock the arms in place. The Hydraulic frame was at it's heat limit.
The collider began to shake and shutter, the power level went to maximum and began to melt the shutter. The Ghost took a deep breath and activated one of his hidden features. He squinted his eyes and from his visor, he fired two eye lasers, and ramped the power to maximum. He gripped the arms tightly and got even close as to get a better aim.
"NO! NO! NO! YOU WON'T WIN!" Yelled Rothschild standing up.
The Ghost fired his lasers at Rothschild, punching holes through his chest, before returning to the collider and destroying the firing laser. As the Ghost stepped back, a New World Order soldier stabbed him in the back, and found himself staring into the glowing red eyes of the Ghost, who shot the lasers through the soldiers head before collapsing to a knee. He put his fist through another soldier as they began to rush him. However, he overloaded his lasers and fired at them in a wide burst, turning them into vaporized human corpses.
As the New Ottawan Forces began to converge upon the collider, it overheated and exploded, shattering the barrier. The explosion threw everyone away from it. As the explosions forced everything away, it began to fold back on itself, now pulling everything towards the barrier. The wind force was that of a hurricane as the injured Ghost, Inferno, Juno, Barbara and her Huey with the Watcher and a few members of the 451st were sucked in, along with Rothschild and a small group of New World Order soldiers.
Once the barrier had resealed itself, glowing symbols appeared on the glossy surface. The New Ottawa Arrowhead symbol and the New World Order's all seeing eye. The total of missing people was now displayed underneath the symbols, now saying total Ottawans Alive and total New Worlders Alive.
Everyone was baffled who saw it, however, in a decisive choice, Reverend Everett ordered the troops to finish the fight and to capture the New World Order troops as prisoners. The battle was over, however, Lords Rockefeller and Blackstone were very much still alive and had a battalion of troops to protect them. This was the Stalemate of the Antarctician War.
