Chapter 24 - The whole family 4: Taken

"That's for puking all over me," The orange haired said as he stared down at Kais unconscious figure while stretching his used fist. He then took off his stained jacket and used it to wipe the barf on his shoes,

"M*therf***er." He gritted,

"Didn't you punch him too hard? He looks like he'd break the next minute." A guy by the far end of the gathered bikes who still had his full-face helmet on said as he walked up to Kais body. He squatted and pushed back the strands that fell on the boys face, taking in his features,

"Who cares, isn't that what those b**ches want anyway?" the orange haired scoffed and tossed his jacket on his bike.

"Come on, let's get outta here before we grab any attention." He spoke again. The boy with the biker helmet lifted Kai up and placed his unconscious body on the back seat of his motorbike.

"Let's go." The guy with the cigarette said and everyone got on their bikes and drove off, the humming sound of the engines echoing everywhere they passed through as the rode in a straight line, drawing the attention of passerby's

After riding a safe distance away from the casino hotel, they arrived at a darker and more secluded area of the street. Most of the street lights on this side were busted and the houses around the vicinity were obviously often broken into as most windows were barred or had shattered window panes. They stopped in front of an old pub that looked like it had lived beyond its required years. The faded white walls were chapped and had cracks in them, the windows weren't any better from what the other houses owned and the porch light infront flickered and dangled loosely from its cables in the roof.

The rough tossing and yelling from inside was as audible as one could hear from outside and there were different sizes of motorbikes parked everywhere that probably belonged to the other biker gangs inside. The disarray of the parked bikes made it hard for someone to get into the worn out pub.

"Jet, Steve, you both come with me, the rest of you can leave." The man with the cig commanded and the lots that had followed him earlier parked their bikes along with the numerous ones out and went into the pub.

Even though he had on their jacket, Luke wasn't part of the biker gang. His dear niece, Rachel suddenly called him up and asked him to get something done for her. Of course he would gladly do it but then she said he had to team up with some low lives for this one. Honestly, he loved to work alone..things get done quicker that way and cleaner too, but seeing that Rachel had a friend with her who had already called up some guys, he had to agree but with the condition that he'd take the lead.

The bikers were against it at first but then agreed when they were offered extra cash.

Unlike the tacky members, their leader was pretty laid back and chill, hardly ever took off his biker helmet too, Luke could work with someone like that.

The enthusiastic uproar as the others walked in made a smile appear on the orange haired boys face,

"Still the best biker gang there is," he said prideful and Luke scoffed with a smirk,

"Let's go round the back, bring the boy along." The boy with his helmet on picked Kai up from the rare of his bike and flung him over his shoulder. They went round the pub and got in through the single door behind, which led to the kitchen. The kitchen was more than a mess which made one wonder how people could eat from a place like this. The chefs looked tired and unkempt and even had no hair net on as they cooked. The faded walls were stained with grease and tomato paste? Hopefully...

"Luke!" A bulky man in a stained white apron greeted the man with a cig with a bright smile on his face and the other smiled back,

"Got anything for me?" He came up to Luke and shook his hand, bumping their shoulders together in a friendly greeting,

"I need the key to the room." Luke replied and finally tossed the burnt out cigarette into filled up trash can in the corner. The chef glanced over his shoulder and saw the guy named jet with Kai on his shoulder.

"You caught another borrower, eh?"

Luke shrugged, "You can say that."

The chef sighed and took out a bunch of keys from his apron pocket,

"I don't want blood on the walls this time." He warned and Luke just smiled without replying since he couldn't guarantee it.

When he got what he wanted, the three headed for a door just behind the wooden staircase, which led to the basement.

As the chef had said, the walls were indeed stained with splattered blood. The atmosphere in the basement felt humid and oozed of something, probably a dead rodent. At the corner of the wall were piles of stacked carton boxes, which obstructed the only window available. They were probably moved there to make more space in the tight room. A bloodied matrass was placed in the middle, and beside it was a wooden table. On the table were duct tapes, rags, metal bats, bloodied wrenches, and pliers, which they probably used to beat people up.

The boy named jet came forward and dropped Kai on the matrass. The blonde boy groaned but quickly fell back into his slumber, a mental note to never drink again ringing as he dozed off.

"Tie him up, I don't wanna hear whining when he wakes up." Luke commanded and Jet picked up the rag and duct tape from the table. He squatted beside the boy and stuffed the rag into his mouth and sealed it in with the duct tape. He tied Kai's arms behind him but didn't bother to do the same with his legs since he didn't see it as threatening considering how weak the boy looked,

"He should have a phone on him, look for it and toss it aside." Luke said again as he took out his own phone from his jacket to dial his last missed call,

"Are all femboys this pretty? I'm kinda curious what he did to those chicks for them to want him gone," the orange haired named Steve said as he walked up to his leader who was going through the pockets on Kai's shorts. He found the phone he was looking for and flung it to the side not caring where it landed or whether it broke or not,

"Who knows maybe he stole their dude," Jet said. He finally took of the black full-face helmet he had on ever since. His jet black hair fell over the white eye patch on his eyes shielding the entire thing. The messy hair, eye patch and dim lighting made his sharp features look a little more intimidating than it should. He took out a cig and lighter from his pants pocket took a puff when he lit it.

"Man, if he was a girl I'd go a round or two with him just for the fun of it," Jet didn't reply to this and just kept staring at Kai's unconscious body, he slid his hand under the black t-shirt Kai had on which probably belonged to another male larger than him and traced the skin of his stomach,

"What the f*ck dude, you're not really thinking of going a round with him, are you? He's a guy you know!" Steve yelled with disgust etched onto his features,

"So? F*cking guys isn't at all bad,"

"The hell, seriously?"

.

Luke stood in the corner with his phone placed against his right ear and his other hand in his pocket, watching as the two boys hovered over the merman with lustful eyes but he couldn't care less, he met scums like them everyday.

"Hello dear niece," Luke said with a small smirk when the caller on the other side picked his call, "Why'd you call earlier?"

"I'm coming over. Text me the current location."

"Why? I thought you said you'd be satisfied with just a video?"

"I changed my mind, we wanna get the full package of what we paid for," Luke scoffed when he heard her say this,

"You're one spoilt little bitch aren't you... sure, you can come, we'll make sure not to start without you."

"How are the guys?" Rachel asked,

"Oh, they're obedient, your friend sure has some dangerous connections," he laughed

"Maddie will be sure to hear your compliments, send the location and we'll be there in an hour."

With that she cut the call. Luke glanced at the other two and sighed.

The icy cold fingers that slipped into Kai's shirt caused him to shiver... they were different from the warm ones that always held him close and always caressed him with so much care. These ones felt foreign... and disgusting even. Kai jerked awake and tried sitting up but the sharp pain in his head sent him back to the matrass quickly. He felt disgusted when he tasted the worn out piece of cloth in his mouth, what was he doing in a place like this?

"Oh, you're awake." Steve said and a smirk appeared on his face when he saw the hateful gaze directed at him.

"Oh fiesty."

Kai felt utterly disgusted by their faces. He glanced around the room, taking in the surroundings while planning his next strategy... he didn't know what they wanted with him or what he had done to deserve sucjlh treatment but he knew he could not just sit here and wait for someone to find him. He was gagged. If not, he would have tried hypnotising them. It was only the three of them so it would work like a breeze and apart from that, his hands were tied behind him making it harder for him to move, thankfully his legs weren't, so he would use that to his advantage.

Steve crouched down and stared at Kai's face as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing,

"I still can't believe he's a guy... maybe he's a girl faking her gender. He may be flat but some girls don't have boobs,"

"So what? You wanna check?"

"Why not."

"MMPH!!!" Hearing them say stuff like that, Kai felt like throwing up... he needed to find a way out and quick,

Jet fumbled with the belt on Kai's shorts trying to unbuckle it and the merman flailed about hoping to give the biker a hard time.

He kicked the biker on the chest and the impact made him hit the table by the side, a wrench fell and Kai's eyes widened with hope.

His kick was surprisingly effective, Jet noted. Taking the opportunity when the boy was distracted, Jet grabbed his ankle, twisted and pulled on it trying to keep him in place, Kai grunted from the pain of the twist and finally the biker was able to get the shorts off him,

"Damn, he really is a guy." Steve heaved a disappointed sigh.

"What are you two doing?" Luke, who had his eyes on his phone all along said when he saw that they had taken the boys shorts off,

"I just wanted to check if he was a guy or a girl." Steve shrugged.

Wasnt information enough? Luke took out a pack of cig from his pocket and placed on on his lips,

"Your boss wants to witness him getting his as* kicked. They'll be here in an hour so until then hands off, got it?" He said and the two stood up.

"Come on, let's go grab a drink... my treat." Luke said and went up the stairs followed behind by the other two.

When they left Kai heaved a sigh of relief, turns out they were hired by someone to take him but he didn't have the time to think about who it was, the time he had on him was to plan his next move. If he could find something to cut the tapes then that would prove really helpful. He glanced at the wrench and then at the back at table... surely there was something on top that could get him out of the binds. He carefully got on his knees while making sure not to aggravate the throb in his head by moving too much, before he got on his wobbly feet... one hour... that was all he had.

.

It had already been more than twenty minutes since Kai had left. The room remained dead silent ever since with everyone staring back at each other without saying anything... Aiden was nervous. It was the first time he had ever had to feel like this. Kai had told him his brothers were over protective and yes he did expect to get beat up by them but this was a whole new level, even though Kai had said no matter what they say he wouldn't leave, there was no way he could guarantee they don't take him back by force so he still needed to get on their good side.

Finally deciding to be the one to break the ice, Aiden turned to the blonde with his hair over his face, recognising him to be Vladimir. Since he seemed the dotting of the two and was willing to sit with him for Kai's sake, perhaps he was the most reasonable one to talk with at a time like this,

"Mr. Avery-"

"Hey," Vance shot him a death glare and Aiden quickly directed his gaze to him, seemingly unfazed by the authoritative tone used,

"You got a girl, don't you?" He asked and this caused the young master to become confused,

"I'm not sure what you're talking about."

Vance leaned on the back rest of the couch and crossed his leg, the scowl on his face never leaving once.

"Really? because your father filled us in with some really good information."
