Chapter 21 - The whole family. 1

Lilith being in his home did not prove to be as frustrating and threatening as Aiden had thought it to be since she was always out at night for work and when she returned the next day she'd be so tired that she'd passed out on the bed or couch. Even though she did try making a few moves on kai, Kai's attention never went that way, and he always rubbed it off as a friendly gesture.

"Aiden!" Kevin's voice interrupted as soon as they stepped out of the Bentley. They both turned to see the boy rushing towards them with a sparkling smile, and Aiden groaned, receiving a nudge from the merman.

"You're on time today." The young master said with a sly smile as the three of them walked past the main gate to the school building.

"My sister is visiting, she woke me up."

"Why don't you just use an alarm clock to wake up-"

"Never works for anyone."

"Kai." Jenny called as she approached the trio. The strange connection of people had Kevin and Aiden stare at her with raised brows.

"Why are you hanging around him?" Aiden was straightforward and had a slight frown on his face.

"Because I find him fun and intriguing, don't think I'll let go of the thing you did easily just because he facinates me."

"I don't care. Just stay away from him."

"What are you two going on about?" Kevin interjected as he was lost trying to understand their conversation. Jenny shrugged and turned to the merman beside her without even answering the others' questions, and Kevin pouted,

"You guys are always leaving me out of things."

Jenny smaked him on the arm as he said this,

"What are you, five?"

"But seriously, I'm curious. When did you two get closer?"

"By the beach." Kai chimed in with a small smile that still showed his dimples.

"Ehh? We're not even done with the terms, and you guys are already going for a vacation?"

Jenny placed her arm on Kais shoulder and rose a brow, "What's it to you. If you wanna have fun too, go out tomorrow, it's Saturday anyway."

"Hands off." Aiden said, and the black haired girl rolled her eyes,

"Bossy much,".

"Yeah, since it's Saturday, how bout we go grab some drinks? It's been so long! We're getting old, you know. Once we're married, we won't be able to do stuff like this." Aiden turned to Kevin and flicked the taller boy on the forehead.

"Are you dumb? We have exams coming."

"But that's not until two weeks from now." Kevin whined with his palm on the aching spot,

"Yeah, but this week's already over." Jenny said.

"I'd like to go drinking." Kai, who had been quiet surprised them by saying this and all eyes turned to look at him,

"See, even your boyfriend wants to go." Kevin said enthusiastically, knowing that now Aiden would have no choice but to come. He was hell-bent on the young master coming because he knew that anywhere Aiden went, whether it was a restaurant or somewhere else, they always got a free serving or a large discount. Yes... he was in for the gain.

"Where's this coming from?" Aiden interrupted, openly showing his disapproval, and Jenny clicked her tongue,

"Oh, come on, dad, it'll just be the four of us. No need to be so guarded."

"Yeah, dad, let the poor boy have his fun."

Just as they were about to go up the stairs, someone poured a bottle of water from the second floor onto Kai's head. Jenny gasped and stepped away on impulse when the cold water splash came in contact with her skin. It was really cold.

Aiden glanced up and caught a glimpse of the two perpetrators. They seemed genuinely shocked that he saw them, and without even emptying the bottle, they let it go and ran away. Luckily, it didn't fall on kai.

"Kai, you okay?" Kevin asked,

"Yup, just cold." He didn't seem fazed by this and just acted normal, which made Aiden wonder.

"Are they still on with this childish behaviour?" Jenny fumed and took out a pink handkerchief from her jean pocket to wipe the boys face.

"I thought she learnt her lesson on Tuesday. I can't believe she's still doing stuff like this when we're almost graduating."

"What happened on Tuesday?" Aiden asked with an indifferent expression.

"Oh, you weren't there. She dumped food on Kai and got smacked on the face for it." Jenny chuckled as she reminisced the eventful day. He slapped Maddie? Aiden let out a small laugh at the thought and turned to the merman, "Good job." He praised and then continued,

"Come on, I should have some extra clothes in the car."

He slipped his arm around Kai's waist and pulled him along. "You two should go ahead." Without waiting for the two to acknowledge what he had just said, he walked away.

They went back to the parking lot and got to the car. Aiden pulled the car trunk open, and inside was a small black travelling bag. He opened it and took out a black T-shirt and handed it to the boy.

"Why didn't you tell me Maddie was picking on you?"

"It's no big deal, I can handle her." Kai replied, and Aiden smiled. Yeah... seeing he slapped 'Maddie' across the face, that he could do.

Without getting into the car or even bothering to shield himself from prying eyes, kai took off the white sweat shirt he had on right there in the open lot,

"Hey, Kai!" Aiden yelled and swiftly pushed the boy into the open car trunk, kai fell in and laid in the trunk with his legs dangling out. Shocked, he stared up at the former hovering over him with wide eyes, wondering why he suddenly reacted that way.

"What are you doing getting undressed in the middle of a parking space?!" Aiden glanced around, and thankfully, nobody had seen him take his top off.

"Is something wrong with it?"

"Yes, everything is wrong. Don't do that next time, okay?" He spoke softly, and the merman nodded obediently. Being a boy, even Aiden could take off his shirt and there would be no shame about it but not with Kai, anything under his garments were for no one else to even as much as catch a glimpse of.

Still in the trunk of the car, Kai sat up and wore the black shirt he was given,

"Aiden?"

"Hmm?"

"Can we go drinking?" Aiden rose a brow,

"Why do you wanna go drinking so much? Did something happen?" Kai shrugged,

"No, I saw it in a movie, and it looked fun."

"What if you can't hold your liquor and you get drunk then start acting crazy or something goes wrong?" Kai sighed and slid his arms around Aiden neck and pulled him closer till he could feel the others breath on his face, he then pecked the spot right beside his lips and let out a small smile,

"That's why you'll come with me to make sure nothing happens... please..." What's this? Was this blond boy trying to sweet talk his way into making him agree? If he was, it worked perfectly.

Aiden sighed and took the others' lips in his, nibbling on the soft flesh of his lower lip.

"Sure," kais smile widened, and Aiden sighed again. At this rate, he would lose his rationality. "Come on, let's head back."

As soon as the duo left, a white coated Bugatti drove into the parking lot and parked a few cars away from Aidens.

Inside the car sat two blonde identical figures in bright white suits. The blazer and collared shirt they had on snuggled against their finely built and toned muscles and biceps, and to top it up, they left the first two buttons undone, giving a glimpse of the package while still leaving the rest to the viewers imagination.

The one in the drivers seat had his short hair neatly gelled back, giving him a more professional look while the other with a shoulder length had his over his face, giving him a rick gangster vibe.

"You sure this is the right place?" The one in the drivers seat asked as his narrowed blue eyes scanned the building,

"Yes. We'll wait till they're through with lectures."

"Haa... That m*ther f*cker."

Aiden had gone to the vending machine to get a box of orange juice since he claimed he was thirsty for something sweet before they returned to the classroom.

Upon entry, all eyes turned to their direction, probably because the shorter one had on the others shirt, but they didn't mind it. Aiden caught sight of Maddie seated at the front row of the class with her books in front of her, looking as innocent as she could feign. He ruffled kais hair and told him to go take his seat while he made his way to the girl with his juice box hanging on his lips by the straw.

"Hey Maddie." He called, and when the girl turned to face him, he poured the orange juice on her thigh, wetting the beige coloured pleated skirt she wore,

"Aiden!" She quickly stood up, but it was already too late as her lower half was now wet.

"You made me do something so petty." His voice trailed off as he stared at the mess he caused with dazed eyes. He suddenly leaned closer to her, and she flinched,

"I heard you dumped soup on my girlfriend. Aren't you tired of being embarrassed all the time? How dumb are you that I have to spell it out for you before you understand? Stay away from him."

"But –" Aiden didn't wait to listen, and when he was satisfied, he gingerly strode to where kai sat and took his seat beside him.

"I told you I could handle it." Kai pouted and folded his arms, making Aiden chuckled.

"You didn't really think I'd let her go, did you?" He patted the boys hair. Soon after, the lecturer walked in.

Maddie couldn't make it in and out in time, and knowing how strict the accounting professor was, she just had to sit through the lessons with her thigh and skirt wet, which was really uncomfortable.

It was afternoon, and the lectures were over. Or better still, the squad was done with the days lectures.

The classroom was now empty as everyone had left for their next lectures. Still seated by the window were the usual duo, and in the next row was Jenny and Kevin.

They had skipped lunch and tried to get their assignments and projects done with since they planned on going drinking the next day,

"So where do you guys want to go?" Questioned Jenny with her pen in her mouth,

"How about the new casino that just opened on X Street?" Kevin replied

"Are you crazy I heard that place was crazy expensive."

"Yeah, apparently it opened a week ago, and the owners are really good at what they do, and they have the best cocktails."

"No we can just go to a normal bar like everyone else."

"Let's go there. If Kai wants to have a drink, he has to have the best." Aiden interrupted nonchalantly, still with his eyes focused on the books in front of him. Kevin and Jenny stared at him for a while before Kevin suddenly slammed the table,

"Then it's settled, we are going to a casino!"

The sudden clatter and squeals that erupted from the hallway interrupted them, and all eyes turned to the door.

"What's going on out there?" Immediately kai asked, the door slid open, and two ethereal beings walked into the empty class and headed straight for them.

Seeing the blondes, Jenny could totally understand what had caused the commotion... These guys were perfect, and even Kevin agreed to it as he too ogled them.

Kais face paled as they approached them, and before he could say anything, one of them grabbed Aiden by the collar and landed a punch on his face.
