After finishing the dinner, Witcher returns to the long-awaited Hundred Fruit Garden.
After being away for the majority of the year, I don't know if the Shadow Council still has ambushes set up in this place.
Standing in the shadows, Eleazar silently senses his surroundings.
This out-of-the-way place doesn't seem to have changed a bit...
Except the tavern across the street has a new waitress?
Eleazar watched the new visitor silently.
It was a klutzy girl, who had been properly serving drinks at the last second, and with just a slight distraction, her lower body seemed to lose its response, her left foot mixing with her right out of thin air.
"Snap! Clang~"
The body in the white apron slumped right down to the floor, all the trays and glasses in her hands flung out.
"Ms. Saki, please please please be serious, this is the nineteenth time you've dropped your cup!"
"Ah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
The girl got up in a huff stroked her skirt and bowed to the bar in apology, and a roar of laughter rang through the tavern, where business had inexplicably picked up.
Listening to her boss's reprimand seemed like it wasn't the first time she'd done it.
Eleazar narrowed his eyes and opened his sensory sight.
Extraordinarily dark blood aura flowed slowly through that body that was weaker than normal, the blood supply was low, and that was the reason why her body lost response from time to time.
Anemia, weakness?
Eleazar thought idly as he returned to the door of his house, casually tearing off the payment slip that was taped to the front door and looking at it for a moment before walking back across the street to the tavern to get ready to pay his rent.
The landlord seemed to have regretted renting him such a cheap house, and anyway, his face was extraordinarily ugly when he collected the money.
"What are you looking at, do your job!"
The landlord, who was full of displeasure, took it out on the waitress who came over and looked left and right.
"Why is his rent so cheap and mine so expensive." She muttered, stepping aside to clear the table.
Witcher, whose body felt like it had been electrocuted for a split second, turned his head back in a bit of disbelief.
The inspiration that had just come was brief, a flash that made him think it was an illusion.
Witcher, the Sequence, was never meant to have this aspect of Inspiration, and this occasional precognitive ability he has on a whim is still granted by the Witch's Fate connection.
After sensing again, and still not noticing anything out of the ordinary, Eleazar slowly turned back to his body and asked the tavern owner, who was a part-time landlord, for an ale.
"You're hiring waiters when business is so bad here?"
"Because I like to be helpful!"
The boss brought the drinks and said without a word of humor, "Just like you, a poor college student from the countryside."
Those ears behind him stubbed out a bit, and the waiter came running over curiously again.
"Eh, are you a St. Inge college student too, sir?"
Eleazar looked into those brown eyes and nodded slowly.
She went on to ask, "You're here before me, are you an upperclassman?"
"Uh-huh."
"Wow, I didn't expect to run into a senior here, I'm a freshman this year, my name is Saki, Biology Department!"
Listening to the voice that seemed to come from a very distant place, Eleazar nodded sluggishly.
Saki suddenly took a step back and clasped her hands to her chest.
"Senior, your eyes are so scary..."
Eleazar withdraws his sensory state and inclines his head slightly.
"History department, uh... It's the second year this year."
"So... Much obliged?"
Saki carefully held out a hand.
Eleazar held out his hand to shake hers, "Well, much obliged."
That's weird. Is it an illusion?
Looking at the green face with the wide, giggling grin, he was filled with doubt.
...
Late night...
Not letting his guard down easily, Witcher sneaks into the rented room next door.
If a person has a problem, then it certainly leaves subtle transcendental traces in their life that even he does not notice.
Eleazar stood in the hallway without making a sound.
Quietly sensing his surroundings, he didn't spare any corners.
But this house was filled with the remnants of the holy light in which Shua had once lived.
These divine auras seriously affected his ability to trace the traces of transcendence...
Finding nothing, Eleazar then arrived at the door of his room and gently pushed open the biology freshman's dorm room.
A torso in pajamas, kicking off the covers and huffing and puffing.
The moonlight cast in silently from outside the window, the half-covered window raised slightly in the evening breeze.
Standing in front of the figure that seemed oblivious, Eleazar felt that if he ruthlessly stabbed his silver sword, he could completely remove the hidden danger that had him wondering.
"Eh heh heh~"
The girl twisted her sleeping face and glowed with an inexplicable giggle.
Eleazar hung his eyes for a long moment to survey her, then quietly reached out, tucked her in, and leaped out the window.
...
The next day, Saki was excited to come next door and shoot the door.
"Senpai, let's report together!"
"BOOM BOOM BOOM!"
She knocked for a long time, and the boss across the street came out and said in bad humor, "Don't disturb the people, they leave before dawn, they are much more diligent than you!"
"Leaving before dawn?"
Saki was slightly stunned, then after bowing a bit to the owner with a big smile on her face and expressing her gratitude for informing her, she left the Hundred Fruit Garden with a bouncing twin ponytail in tow.
And at St. Inge's, Eleazar is on the line with the Lady Saints.
Qishi folded his legs and said absently, "Please pay your tuition for this semester."
"Give it to you?"
Eleazar was full of questions.
Sister Fledgling said in an ungracious voice, "The semester has been in session for three months now, and no one will be charging you any more tuition except Your Highness!"
Eleazar had to throw out a bunch of money with a reluctant face.
Qishi picked it up and said without counting, "It's not enough~"
Eleazar sank and threw out another pile.
Qishi lifted his eyes slightly, "Still not enough~"
"Don't you go too far!"
"I'm overdoing it?"
Qishi clasped his hands together in amusement.
Eleazar looked at her with an expressionless face, "How much exactly?"
Qishi held his chin in thought, "Well, I'll charge you 2.01 million then~"
Witcher's chest hitched at once.
It was only after a long time that he reacted to the fact that the other party already knew about the fact that he had taken the Dragon's Teeth to that Transcendent Family to cover his debt.
Eleazar let out a slow breath and casually pulled another long, poisonous fire fang out of his space, stabbing it at the other man's head with lightning speed.
Qishi maintains that raised-vision pose, his body motionless and full of smiles.
Finally, the dragon's teeth grazed her scalp and lodged on the table in front of her, not halfway in.
Eleazar took the opportunity to get all his money back.
"Is this thing enough to satisfy you yet!"
Qishi, full of disinterest, flexed his fingers and flicked the dragon's teeth in front of him, then looked at the hand in front of him that was rapidly collecting money.
"Hey, you've been cursed?"
Eleazar's eyes fluttered as he realized that his black branded palm was in the death grip of a slender, white-gloved hand.
"Crackle!"
The bones of the hand were instantly wrenched!
Her Highness looked up with a smile on her face and locked eyes with Witcher.
"You need to be purified yet."
