The temperature of the body was rapidly passing away, and the surging transcendental activity was rapidly disappearing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
In just a few minutes, the magic potion became darker and darker red, like lava that was about to go out.
Finnian, holding the magic potion, is still waiting for Eleazar's command.
I've heard it's a good idea to wait until it's safest to take it, but not lose the effect, to increase the success rate.
Looking at the slightly trembling arms, Eleazar whispered:
"Don't be nervous, your parents bequeathed you a very valuable legacy, your silver hair, that's a sign of superhuman activity, it may bother you from time to time, but at this point in time, it will be your greatest advantage."
"Pour dozens of voices, and you'll drink the magic potion."
Eleazar clasps his hands and turns away faintly.
The moment finally arrives, and Fintan can't help but rush over again.
"I have no intention of prying into your sequence, but for the sake of my brother's well-being, I'd like to confirm one last time that your spirituality, it's not alienated, is it!"
Eleazar cocked her head, "No~"
Some of the familiar Sequencers, in order to be more attuned to the characteristics of their rank, will intensify their spirituality during the first potion ritual, sublimating it into a different kind of energy.
For example, a knight's fighting spirit, a caster's magic, an acolyte's holy light...
It strengthens in one way, but at the same time it loses its initial all-purpose use.
As it was, the knight who was full of fighting spirit had no assistance for his brother who was taking magic potions and could only stare.
And they, the Witcher, the Witch, and a large number of Cryptic Sequencers, are not going to be able to perform this ascension ritual.
Fintan wanted to say something else, but in front of him, Finnian had already taken a gulp of the magic potion, and then planted himself on the ground with a 'poof'.
"Finnian!!!"
Eleazar watched faintly as he picked his brother up and set him down on the cushions beside him.
After a while, Finnian began to convulse violently, accompanied by coughing up blood and vomiting, and the blood vessels all over his body glowed red, with a fiery red substance visible flowing inside.
The high temperature baked his body red and softened, and his body gradually lost its human form, which looked terrifying.
"Clear... Remove the poison!"
Fintan was horrified by this appalling phenomenon.
"You go away!"
Eleazar stepped forward and pushed him away, sensing him carefully for another moment.
"This is the normal mutation phenomenon of reassurance ..."
"How can I rest in peace!"
Fintan looked up angrily.
"So what was it like the first time you took a magic potion?"
"I... I locked myself in the dungeon..."
Eleazar nodded faintly, "I see, so why don't you go up and prepare my lunch now."
"I'm not going!"
"So I'll go?"
The knight then stood up with hatred and ran up quickly.
Having dismissed the extra, Eleazar casually grabbed a book from the shelf and sat down at the desk to leaf through it in silence.
After half a day, the knight holding a messy plate of food rushed down again, and when he saw him leisurely reading a book, his hair stood up in anger.
Dropping his plate on the desk with a 'bang', he scrambled to check on his brother's condition.
"Finnian .... He's dead!!!"
Eleazar flipped through his book without looking up and said lightly, "Well, the vital signs have stopped for now, and the mutation has entered its first stage."
Looking at him with that air of calmness, Fintan turned back to the body on the mat with its mouth wide open and slowly bubbling hot air.
"At ease, at ease, your haste is of no use at all."
Eleazar chased the bouncing sundried fruit around with her fork and spoon and grumbled, "What the hell did you make? A lettuce and fresh fruit salad?"
"I'll buy you a barbecue dinner when Finnian gets through this."
Forcing himself to regain his composure Fintan sat across from him with a frown on his face.
"Speaking of great meals..."
Eleazar mused, "I have a friend's birthday this weekend, free to go to the party?"
"Not in the mood."
After finishing his lunch, Fintan quickly cleared the table and then stood guard over his brother again, his face set in concentration.
"Why hasn't Finnian shown any signs of life yet?"
Eleazar stood in front of a bookshelf slowly picking out a book and said without looking back, "Transcendental Activity is slowly replacing his vitals, as long as it doesn't stop being active he'll be fine, don't worry, so far it's all been peaceful."
"How long will this process take?"
"Depends on the person, Origins Potions is supposed to be the hardest threshold, and I don't want to put it off for too long, there's the banquet at the end of the week."
"It took me seven whole days to transform the first time I took the magic potion, how long did it take you?"
"Five days..."
Suddenly realizing this, Eleazar ponders for a moment.
"In that case, I'm going to be staying at your place for a few days."
Coming to the desk, he took a clean sheet of manuscript paper, then dipped a quill in ink and wrote two notes.
"Hey, stop looking and go turn in my vacation papers!"
Calling the knight over, Eleazar hands him two notes.
"This one, you give it to the professor in the history department for me."
"This one, you give it to Evelea-san for me, no peeking! She should still be in the boys' 404 dormitory~"
Fintan's face darkened instantly, "I'm not going!"
"So I'll go?"
In the middle of the day, the knight ran off to the academy to deliver him a note with incredibly mixed feelings.
...
At night, a fireplace was lit in the basement, and the two men's face's were bright in the firelight.
Since he couldn't meditate, do anything else, or walk away, Eleazar could only pass the time by leaning on that bookshelf.
Taking the Origins Magic Potion Day 1: Finnian falls into a state of living death that stops all signs of life.
Day 2 of taking the Origins Magic Potion: he still hasn't regained his vitals, but the Transcendental Activity is still flowing slowly, the Knight is beyond anxious, and Eleazar is beginning to hesitate.
Day three of taking the Origins magic potion: the faint rise and fall of his heartbeat could already be heard, and both heaved a sigh of relief.
Day 4 of taking the Origins Magic Potion: Finnian suddenly lets out a scream at noon, holding his head and convulsing wildly; that's the magic potion opening up his mental space and awakening his psychic energies!
Taking the Origins Potion Day 5: Eleazar's eyes look sadly into the basement vents; he's already missed the Dragon Lady's birthday party.
Day 6 of taking the Origins Potion: the most intense phase arrives as Finnian's body overflows with heat melting the mats as he screams and rolls around in agony in the sunken fire pit.
Day 7 of taking the Origins Magic Potion: two days into Finnian's screams and struggles, and after a full week of watching over him, the two are physically and mentally exhausted.
On the eighth day, Finnian suddenly stops all movement, and the two scramble to get up and check it out.
After screaming for half a day, the charred humanoid, whose hair and clothes had been burned all over its body, suddenly opened its eyes, and they saw a pair of red and black pupils that looked like demons.
