Chapter 88 -  Dark Witch Soup

The room with closed doors and windows was dimly lit and full of mystery.

Candles were lit in each of the four corners of the wall, resolutely forming a broad sealing spell, and the crucible on the desk boiled with the aroma of herbs.

"What are you cooking, it smells so good~"

A dishonest Evelea pokes her head out from under the covers.

Eleazar glared back at her.

It's a miracle that this man, with his super-high fever, is still so lively.

"So spirited? I'll take you back then?"

"Ahem ahem... I might... Can't!"

The witch hastily retreated back under the covers, coughing her heart out.

Eleazar withdrew his gaze with a dark grimace and added the last of the material to the boiling crucible.

Heart of the Blood Raven, a bead-sized organ...

And the pot of potion in front of you is basically full of the stuff.

A very versatile 2nd-order alchemy recipe - a tonic potion - came from the Guardian Sequence, an all-purpose potion soup developed by the Druid guys, and then made a big splash on the witches' side of the family, gradually becoming known as the Witches' Soup.

The most important feature of this recipe is that there is no fixed material formula, depending on the conditions arbitrarily add, reduce or replace the material, the only place to pay attention to, is the balance of attributes, so whether it is a poison or tonic, depends entirely on the guests received by the witches.

After a long time, feeling as if the fire was almost ready, Eleazar fished out the remnants of the transcendental activity that had all but dissipated and poured them into an empty bottle, carefully sealing it for when it was free to be wasted and converted into alchemical powder.

The potion in the crucible was a deep purple color with eerie bubbles, and because of the darkness of the ingredients, the broth didn't have the clear and pleasant style of a druid.

Eleazar scooped a small spoonful and tasted it, lest a mistake in the recipe poison the witch.

Although the pot has been lethal poison for many.

"Well, it's a little bitter..."

Smacking his lips, his tongue tingled rapidly, then like an electric current the potion slid down his throat, his arms shook, the spoon dropped as if he had swallowed a cannonball, his heart swelled violently, and then the transcendental activity which slowly radiated.

Eleazar covered his violently beating heart for a long time.

The medicinal properties are passable, but the toxicity still seems to be a bit too strong.

Evelea, who witnessed this, grabbed the covers in horror.

"What are you getting at, are you trying to poison me?"

"Don't be afraid, I'm diluting..."

Eleazar turned back and relieved.

He also knew that the other Sequencers simply didn't have as strong a resistance to poison as they did.

The potion in the crucible was bottled in two portions and put away, then another 500 milliliters of pure water was poured in, mixed and stirred with the remaining potion, and boiled and heated again.

Well, the deep purple color faded a bit.

Scooping out a bowl, he came to the bedside.

Evelea finally got to see what he had blended.

"Yikes, it's Dark Witch Soup, how nostalgic~"

It looks like she's no stranger to this kind of broth.

It's also true that the coven side is probably full of these cauldrons of boiling medicinal broth.

"Drink it while it's hot." Eleazar looked at her with a puzzled expression.

The witch sniffed first, "The medicine is very strong, did you put in blood?"

"Nope, just some side material."

He wasn't so stupid as to take his own magic potion ingredients and make a medicinal soup.

"Good, then I'll drink it, and if I am unfortunate enough to pass away, remember to bury me on a hillside where I can see the sun, with a bouquet of pink lavender in front of the headstone."

Eleazar blacked out at once.

Evelea snickered, sat up and opened her mouth obediently.

"Ah~"

"Take your own drink!"

"No, I'm a patient, you have to take care of me!"

Eleazar suddenly got a little itchy.

But he did hurt her today, so he could only hold back his irritation and scooped up a spoonful of the medicinal soup and brought it to her mouth.

"You don't even blow on it~"

"Drink up you, so much nonsense!"

Eleazar quickly disappeared the spoon into her mouth.

"Cough cough!"

The choked witch raised a feeble fist and hammered him, then deflated.

"Can't you spare me some of that woman's tenderness?"

The air went cold, the good vibes evaporated, and Eleazar silently lowered his gaze.

"Fina is just an ordinary girl, that's why she needs double the care, you're a Transcendent, you should also understand how fragile ordinary people are."

"Curses, magical creatures, spell aftermaths, sealed objects, evil rituals, just the slightest bit of anything that touches the transcendent, and they fall like porcelain."

Evelea clenched her fists secretly, almost resisting the urge to tell the truth.

Whew... Hold back!

Ha... Hold back!

Saying it now would do no good, he would just go crazy, break down, fall into the abyss of out of control frenzy, and get nothing for himself.

Or is it the same as the plan, to take her place little by little first, so that when he is most desperate and helpless, the deepest smile embraces the trembling him, and says the sentence, "There's still me in oh~"

And then he's my thing!

Day by day, I was given a magic potion to digest!

She thought triumphantly.

"Are you still drinking?"

Eleazar looked faintly at the giggling witch.

"Ah~"

...

After drinking the medicinal soup, the witch soon drifted off to sleep.

Eleazar sighed helplessly as he organized his things on the table and looked back at the overrun bed.

Sitting down in his chair, he tilted his head back and thought back over their encounter.

It seemed like he had unintentionally helped the other party digest the magic potion twice, right?

Well, there was also a magic potion ceremony... Other people woolgathering are just running away after getting the benefits, but she's good, she's just gleaning after catching someone, and she looks like she won't stop until she gleans the baldness.

What kind of sins have you done to get caught up with this kind of guy.

Letting out another sigh, he slowly closed his eyes and began to meditate.

...

The rain stopped at some point, the clouds receded, and the bright moonlight cast down.

A ray of moonlight refracted in through the window, reflecting on the quiet face.

Then the lashes moved slightly and a pair of deep eyes opened.

Eleazar narrowed his eyes and got up to tug at the curtains, only to realize how he couldn't keep out the icy rays of light.

"It's stopped raining..."

Looking out at the dead building, he turned to the bed again and reached out to touch the witch's forehead.

"Well, the temperature recovery has normalized, should we get her back now?"

Eleazar holds his chin in thought for a moment.

"Well..."

At that moment, the restless sleeping witch lifted the covers on her upper body.

Loose shirt, even the buttons were askew.

The views of the mountains are infinitely better.

Eleazar grabs the covers and fades back in.

"Hmph..."

The unfaithful hand swung the covers away again.

The view was even more amazing this time, and Eleazar nearly lost his grip.

"Wake up are you, give me back my bed and you go back."

"Hmph~"

Lips as delicate as cherry blossoms pouted slightly, followed by a knee and a foot that kicked the entire quilt right off the bed.

"You're playing with fire!"

Eleazar looked at her viciously.

Evelea laughed softly, opening her scarlet eyes.

The petite body rolled over onto its back, crossed wrists gently propping up its head, lips lightly biting, eyes looking back provocatively, one long, bare leg curled up and gently hooked.

In her true form, the Witch is unstoppable!

Eleazar's blood ran cold and his breathing heaved.

Averting his eyes with extreme difficulty, he hastily took a few deep breaths, and then entered the Transcendental State, intending to calm himself down with the help of that extreme rational thinking.

Everything but the Pink Skull...

"Invalid~"

The witch threw a flying kiss over.

Then something horrible happened, the feral rage that he had managed to suppress with great difficulty, receded back like a tidal wave, and his ability to perceive, was sealed!

Eleazar went crimson on the spot.

"You're looking for death, aren't you!"

"Yikes."

The candle flames in the corners of the room flared again, spiritually sealed.

The sealing spell that had been upgraded couldn't even transmit sound this time.

howling wind and rain...
