Quietly feeling the magic potion digest.
Tilting his head back 45° to the sky, Eleazar's eyes are tightly closed.
It was as if an iceberg had been unleashed within his body, and the piercing coldness flowed everywhere, causing his torso to shiver slightly.
[Magic potion residue: 70→54]
After a long time, the glowing green body slowly regained its blood color.
The magic potion wasn't digested very much, as these dark creatures were so low in rank that it was only trumped by the numbers that made up for it.
Opening his eyes, Eleazar glanced at the battlefield.
Next, it's loot disposal time...
But there's nothing really rewarding to be gained from all this nastiness.
The only thing of collection value is the pituitary gland, followed by a body of flesh and blood that can be refined into alchemical powder.
Pulling the container and knife out of his backpack, Eleazar dry-heaves as he harvests down five slime-covered water-ghost cerebellums.
The book was right, gathering ghoulish creature material requires immense mental strength!
In the end, there was a field of corpses bleeding greenish-blue blood.
Eleazar considered it.
"Forget it..."
The thought of the alchemy powder made from these things, which could potentially enter one's stomach later on, made one's stomach lurch.
Luckily, there's no shortage of alchemy powder in the lab right now.
Eleazar gave up on gathering the rest of the flesh and blood.
But these bodies he couldn't just ignore.
The infusion of transcendent flesh and blood might cause the surrounding land to grow some rare and strange magic plants, but it was more likely that the corpses would be mistakenly eaten by the nearby beasts, twisting them into secondary magical creatures and causing unnecessary killings.
Eleazar went to the woods behind him and returned with a large bundle of dead branches, and dug a deep hole in the ground, first lining it with firewood, and then finally dropping the mutilated body into it.
A fire was kindled, and it was not long before a thick cloud of smoke rose from the shore of the lake.
Once those bodies are burned to ashes and the pit is buried, the matter here will be settled once and for all.
Eleazar waited in silence.
A black raven flew out of the forest and landed on a large tree on the shore.
Suddenly, a low voice emerged from its mouth:
"Oh? Did you get rid of them all at once?"
Eleazar sneers back and presses the handle of his gun, his eyes searching for a moment and quickly locking on the odd raven.
"Which one are you?"
In his testimony, the raven once again sputtered.
"Member of the Nature Conservation Foundation-Rhine, thank you sir for your contribution to the balance of nature."
Eleazar stared at the black eyes for a long moment before suddenly saying, "Naturalists huh."
"Quack!!!"
The crow suddenly let out a chirp and shook off a few feathers with his wings.
"How many years have I not heard this title, so it is an ancient inheritor, out of respect, may I know the sequence?"
Eleazar rubbed his ring, sweeping his gaze around inch by inch without returning the call.
"No harm done, Foundation... Oh, this sect has a tolerant philosophy and never holds people accountable for where they come from."
Of course, they would not pursue the matter, because the Nature Sect itself was a neutral formation power, both good and evil, and to maintain their so-called natural balance concept, one day they might still be righteous, and the next day they might turn against each other.
Crow still said to himself, "Just sir your action this time, I have to make some comments. Farmers understand that you can't cut leeks all at once, as long as you leave the roots, you can still harvest several crops some days later..."
emerged, what they call the idea of balance.
Eleazar blandly returned, "Monsters, do they still need to be captive?"
"Oh, so you're a Witcher, sir."
Eleazar's gaze sank, "Druid inside, you must not be found by me!"
"Quack!"
The crows seemed to be scared out of their control by this murderous aura, and flew away on the spot with their wings, only to fly back to their original position crookedly after a long time.
"There's no need for you to be angry about it Witcher, you're a different person than you used to be, this is no longer the era that persecuted you, quite the opposite, in these days of total transcendental retreat you're bound to shine because you're a hunter!"
Eleazar looks back at the dying fire.
"Are you done talking so you can invite me to be your guest?"
"Quack!"
The raven shaved its claws a bit uneasily, "Perhaps you will be a worthy guest in the future, but right now we still have some misunderstandings, so being a guest will be excused."
Eleazar's eyes drooped as he returned and walked back to the extinguished fire pit and began to fill it with dirt.
The crow behind him was still raving.
"It's a pity, these are good materials for watering plant circles."
Eleazar rambled back, "Then you can come over and sprinkle some seeds."
"I might do that when you're gone."
They are still trying.
After disposing of the remains of the water ghost, Eleazar sweeps the forest.
There was no longer any point in wandering around, one had already been discovered by the guardians of this place, and while something else might be discovered next, it would surely be thwarted by layers of obstruction as well.
This was someone else's territory, advantageous terrain, and a hasty engagement would only lead to passivity.
"Are you leaving?"
The raven absently straightened his feathers.
"Or what, are you going to invite me as a guest?"
"I was going to ask, are you interested in other monsters?"
Eleazar paused and inclined his head slightly.
"You want to hire me?"
"No, this is a natural adjustment, and you will carry the balanced will to put down evil."
"Speak human."
"Alright, go kill a monster for me and I'll give you herbs as a bounty."
"I want money!"
"I don't have any money~"
Eleazar didn't bother to talk to him.
"What monster?"
"Deer Head Demon."
"When was it born?"
The raven froze for a moment, seeming to go into standby mode as the man behind it went off to look up information.
Seeing this reaction, Eleazar already knew what to reply later.
After a long time, there was a look in the raven's eyes.
"Probably, it was decades ago... Don't be so hasty to refuse, I'll give you Sun Grass as a reward!"
Eleazar was instantly shocked by the fabled herb, but returned a dry, "No time!"
The Deer Head Demon that had already grown for decades had most likely already stepped into Legend, and he wouldn't dare to mess with it without digesting more than ten copies of the magic potion.
"Well, what about the blood demon, it's probably sucked up about ten people..."
"No time!"
"Swamp Witch..."
"No time!"
"Demon spirits..."
"No time!"
Eleazar quickly reacted to the fact that the druid was testing his strength, and so refused dryly every time.
"Hey, monster hunter, you're slacking."
"Why don't you guys take care of it yourselves?"
"It's nature's adjustment, how can we interfere."
"I don't have time."
"Here's the deal..."
The crow fluttered its wings and said quickly, "A corpse baby, just recently born..."
