Chapter 30 - Poltergeist

In the evening, the infirmary brought in six people.

Robert, who was about to pack up and leave work, pushed up his glasses.

"Eve, come and help."

"Oh, here it comes."

Inside the cubicle, the newly hired nurse quickly stepped out and scrutinized it.

"What's going on with these students?"

"I don't know, the school guards found it on patrol."

Robert shrugged.

Walking casually over to one of the hospital beds, he first checked the trauma.

"Well, a hard blow to the brain."

"This position, it's a bit subtle..."

Robert looked at the wound with some surprise.

As an herbalist, a low sequence Transcendent, he recognized the injury.

This is a memory erasure technique (physical) that specializes in the area of heavy blows.

It is said that people who have been attacked in this way all suffer from Alzheimer's disease in their later years.

"Dr. Rowe, they were all injured in the same place," Eve added from the side.

"Uh, well... Thanks." Robert snapped back.

"Okay, you can go back, it's been a hard day at work."

"Don't you need my help?" Eve asked softly.

"It's okay, I'll do it."

There was no need for medical treatment, this injury would be alive and well for them in a little while.

When the new nurse left, Robert returned to his desk and slowly wrote his report.

[Six students were not seriously injured...]

... As the night wore on, the brightly lit infirmary soon resounded with screams.

The six students who woke up all covered their heads and rolled off the bed onto the floor, their faces twisted in agony.

Meanwhile, a pair of arms broke out of a slightly bulging mound of earth in the sealed-off grove.

"I'm alive again!"

Evelea unveils her coffin.

Sitting in the dirt pit, she patted the dirt on her head and turned her head to look around.

"Well, is it that late?"

"Mr. Prince is also too rude."

Evelea muttered disgruntledly, shaking the dirt from her body, and stood up to jump again.

A bouquet of pure white flowers, scattered from the chest.

Her eyes flickered.

Bending down, Evelea picked up the petals one by one and closed them in her hands.

She could deeply feel the wonderful heart of it.

The magic potion is digested and the promotion begins...

Under the moonlight, the witch's pupils emitted a deep red glow, holding the petals in her hands, her face tilted up in a slightly drunken state, her expression incomparably intoxicated.

"Mr. Prince..."

"Mr. Gentle Prince..."

"My... Prince..."

...

Unaware of this, Eleazar meditated all night and woke up the next day to go to class as usual.

The morning classes are densely packed with students, and the campus pathways are footloose.

A padded, saucy figure stood in the center, arms crossed behind her back, looking forward.

Eleazar's feet lurched and the pupils of his eyes narrowed.

"There's such a thing?"

The figure in the middle of the road that caught people's attention was none other than the witch Evelea whose neck he had broken yesterday.

Not only did she come back from the dead, but the darkness in her body became even more intense.

Eleazar pauses in his steps and continues with his face as normal.

In public, is he afraid of revenge?

Evelea's eyes lit up and she ran over to her with graceful little steps.

"Mr. Prince~"

Eleazar narrows his eyes, suddenly getting a little confused about her attitude.

To be killed once and still be in such a pleasant mood, is she crazy or is she just playing dumb to get close?

Mind rising with alarm Eleazar took the same approach as yesterday and ignored her.

"Mr. Prince~"

"Mr. Prince!"

"Mr. Prince--"

It's just that the more he ignored it, the more she screamed, and her voice became more and more pouty, and those passing students around them... All of them had begun to look at them with odd eyes.

Eleazar eyed ahead and said with an expressionless face, "What the hell do you want?"

"I'm hungry, will you buy me breakfast~"

"No way."

Eleazar, who senses she is weaving another trap, strides forward.

"If you don't please... I'll annoy you for a day!"

"Whatever."

Eleazar's face was fearless as he walked toward the classroom.

Evelea, who was left behind, lowered her head, her face unreadable by her bangs.

First-morning class, Eleazar hadn't long walked into the classroom and found a seat when a man squeezed in beside him.

Without even looking, he could already smell the remnants of the witch's scent.

Could feel her eyes on her in a dazed manner.

Someone behind him was whispering.

"Hey, what's up with that pretty girl, have you seen her before?"

"Looks familiar, uh... I think it's the little devil from the science department, I heard that she has a very quirky personality, and the people who pursued her were all teased."

"So what's going on now?"

"Uh ..."

"Hey, is there any mistake, Eleazar, doesn't he already have a girlfriend, I heard that she's also the goddess of the Astronomy Department."

"Grass, drought kills drought, flood kills flood, heaven is unjust!"

On the way to class, the professor who was lecturing finally relented.

"Evelea-san, I'm glad you're here to sit in on the history class, but if all you've got on your mind is talking about love, then please get out, and Eleazar-san, please keep the two of you out of everyone's way."

Eleazar: "!"

What's it to me?

After the lesson, Evelea laughed her ass off.

Eleazar gives her a faint look and packs up her textbooks to leave the classroom.

Evelea hurriedly caught up and asked in a whisper, "Mr. Prince, where are we going next?"

Sadly, her attempts at messing up fell flat, as he no longer had class today.

Even Eleazar, as slow as he was, knew that bringing this thing around Fina was an absolute thunderbolt.

After careful thought, he threw the tied book bag over his shoulder and headed outside.

Evelea just followed him out of the school unguarded.

Turning into a shady alley, Eleazar suddenly turned around and grabbed her by the throat.

"Do you want to die again?"

"Cough cough..."

Evelea said as she struggled to keep a smile on her face as she pressed his hand:

"It's okay oh Mr. Prince..."

"No matter what difficulties befall..."

"Both Your Highness and Mr. Prince will surely be able to cross the many obstacles..."

"Live happily ever after..."

Eleazar looked at her in silence for a long time, then suddenly his hand let go and dropped her to the ground.

"Nervous."

He turned in and out of the alley, stood on the curb looked around, and squeezed onto a trackless bus.

The compartment was crowded, and Eleazar made a secret effort to squeeze through the front door to the back and find a comfortable place to lean back.

Heads were gathering around him, and in no time at all a silver-haired, red-eyed head bothered to emerge from the crowd and come to him with a slightly aggrieved look on its face.

This shady bastard...

Eleazar drops his gaze somewhat breathlessly.

Silently thinking about something, when he came back to his senses, he suddenly realized that the pair of thighs wrapped tightly in black stockings in his eyes seemed to be trembling slightly.

Lifting his eyes, he realized that the owner of those beautiful legs had reddened at the base of her ears, her head buried in her chest.

Eleazar froze and averted his eyes somewhat lamely.

The atmosphere was inexplicably charming...

Evelea's head tilted next to her, and after a moment's thought, realization dawned on her.

She reached out and grabbed Eleazar's hand, then helped him press it against that black silk leg.

Eleazar's eyes widened, and a complex expression settled over his face as he turned his head to her in some disbelief.

Evelea's innocent, flawless face had innocence written all over it.

"Pah-"
