It's well known that mechanics originated from the Nation of Magical Machinery, and most of today's technology is inherited from that era's legacy, but these were mere creations; the original inhabitants themselves never appeared.
Many Machine Judges, along with numerous mechanics, have spent hundreds of years in protective excavation, thoroughly emptying the relic of its contents, but aside from a large amount of mechanical equipment, the Mecha Queen, eight Mechanical Cores, and the World Tree remain, there was nothing else.
Therefore, there are three main theories.
The first is that the original inhabitants likely perished in that disaster.
The second is that they might have been some type of spiritual entity able to manipulate machinery through thoughts, dissipating directly into spirit energy upon death, which also fits the name of the Nation of Magical Machinery.
