Theoretically, the Venom Golem move was perfectly feasible.
But exactly how far he can go, Russell can't say at this point.
The only two who have experienced symbiotic possession are currently Sloan and Frank the Punisher.
Russell hasn't tested the move in real life, although he has done some minor testing on them.
To give a very simple example, he didn't even know what the maximum control distance of the move Venom Puppet was right now.
Although the symbiote could transform into various forms, there was a limit to this change.
Through the black tentacles, or to be more accurate, black threads, that gushed out of the back of his neck, Russell maneuvered the three Ten Commandments gang members to pick up the weapons on the ground.
He then maneuvered them forward.
As for himself, he stayed where he was.
He wanted to test how far these black threads could be maneuvered at the furthest distance, which was related to how much practical combat value this move of the Venom Puppet would have.
Before crossing over, Russell, who was a fan of anime and webcomics, had seen quite a few similar abilities.
For example, the Trickster's Spirit Body Thread, the Thread Fruit's Parasitic Thread, the Puppeteer's Chakra Thread, and so on.
Though using different powers and principles, all of these methods allow for some degree of puppet manipulation.
The method Russell is now using is similar.
Forcefully manipulate the target's body through symbiotic possession, ignoring the will of the other.
As long as the filaments formed by the symbiote are still connected to the target, he can manipulate the target's body as if it were his own.
Against a strong target, this move may not come in handy, as the symbiote may not be able to possess the opponent.
However, when used against targets that are not as strong, the Venom Golem move can be used to good effect.
Other than that, it's a good choice to manipulate the opponent as a meat shield.
Not to mention, the Venom Golem, when possessed by the Symbiote, could be used to bait, infiltrate, and attack.
If the Venom Golem was emotionally attached to the enemy, it could even serve as a blow to the enemy's mindset.
Not everyone, after all, is capable of killing their family, loved ones, and friends.
The Venom Golem move does have that little bit of un-martialized virtue to it.
But in battle, it's the lack of martial virtue that keeps you alive.
Not to mention just messing with the enemy's mindset, even using a weapon of mass destruction like a nuke is fine if the conditions allow it.
In this regard, Russell recognizes the philosophy of Master Chen Hegao, the unlimited fighting master who invented the "Mad Dog Fist".
"If you can get a nuclear bomb, never use a cloudburst bomb; if you can use a gun, never use a knife!"
"If the other side has arranged a time and place for a duel, then be prepared to run the other side over in a dump truck!"
If it wasn't for the fact that he wasn't well-versed in criminal law, the pre-crossing Russell would have had the idea of worshipping under Master Chen to learn a good deal.
For no other reason than to have that little bit of self-preservation.
Russell recalled Master Chen's words of wisdom in his mind as he maneuvered the three members of the Ten Commandments forward.
50 meters, 100 meters, 120 meters, 150 meters!
When the distance reached 150 meters, no matter how he maneuvered, the three Ten Commandments gang members did not take another step forward.
150 meters!
It seemed like that was the limit of how far he could maneuver at the moment.
The distance doesn't seem very long, but Russell isn't overly concerned about that.
It would be nice to have 150 meters.
He had just gained the Venom Symbiote's ability now only a few days ago, and to be able to do this was already considerable.
What's more, symbiotes can evolve a little bit.
Given the lifespan of humans, it takes that little bit longer for a symbiote to evolve naturally.
But if it were any other way, the time to evolve would be drastically shortened.
One of the most effective, and most common methods used by the Symbiote clan, is to have children.
The offspring of a symbiote will be stronger than the parent.
Slaughter, the son of Venom, is stronger than Venom, and Toxin, the son of Slaughter, is stronger than both Venom Slaughter.
Granted, the offspring that are born belong to another separate individual, but that's evolution.
In addition to the traditional method of giving birth, there are some additional methods.
For example, fusing other powers to create mutations, or constantly performing possessions to raise their upper limits by copying the host's power.
Anti venom is a representation of the fusion of other powers to produce mutations.
And copying the host's abilities to reach evolution, such as possessing Deadpool for stronger regeneration, possessing Spider-Man for superpowers such as spider-sense, and so on.
Both methods can have the effect of enhancing the symbiote's own abilities.
The only trouble is that both methods require so much luck.
Having a baby is different.
They can reproduce asexually whenever the symbiote wishes, and one begets offspring.
For the most part, though, symbiotes don't actively have children.
The reason is simple: symbiotes are patricidal.
It's basically every symbiote's instinct to get their sire killed.
Slaughter is trying to get Venom killed.
Toxin is trying to get Carnage and Venom killed.
Whether or not it can succeed is not to mention, if you don't commit patricide a few times, you won't be able to say hello to the other symbiotes.
After testing the extreme distance that the Venom Golem could now reach, Russell then tested the current physical qualities of the three Ten Commandments gang members.
Other than not being able to maneuver them 150 meters away from each other, it's not bad at all.
Attributes such as strength, speed, and endurance are significantly enhanced.
The symbiote's enhancement of them is not likely to reach the level of Russell himself, but it's pretty good.
Even if they were to fight each other with Team America, who had reached the limits of the human body's power, they wouldn't be far behind.
Just looking at the physicality, odds are they could just fuck Team America Rogers.
But if you add in some nonsense like 50/50 auras, vibranium shields, combat skills, or whatever, they're a little more likely to lose to Team America.
Battles aren't something that can be won or lost by comparing explicit stats.
It's not uncommon for people who are clearly dominant to fall in the gutter.
Not to mention the unexpected situations in combat that simply cannot be anticipated in advance.
But anyway, these three members of the Ten Commandments Gang were now also in the most powerful period of their lives.
Combined with the weapons they held in their hands, it wasn't a big problem for the three of them to take out the remaining people in the stronghold.
The three Ten Commandments gang members walked ahead of them while Russell was about 100 meters behind them.
It didn't take long for them to arrive at the stronghold located in the valley.
The ones who went forward to attack Russell just now were only a portion of the personnel in the stronghold.
Those that were left were now sitting or standing in twos and threes in various corners of the stronghold, having a word or two of idle conversation.
The target only had one car, and even if it was full of people, it wasn't much more than that.
And there were over twenty members of the Ten Commandments gang that just went out and attacked Russell.
The gunfire didn't last long before it stopped.
These members of the Ten Rings gang in the stronghold would of course take it quite for granted that the guy of unknown origin had been taken out.
