Chapter 61 - Chapter 61 - Dragons

Earth,Wind, Water and Fire the four principal elements to create life.

Each of them has sub-elements, Ice for water, energy and light for fire, sand and metal earth ,void and space for wind.

Earth has a higher defense power. Earth can defeat water but is weak against wind.

Water is great at assistance, pure healing. Is stronger against fire but is weak against earth.

Wind has higher agility and speed. It can defeat earth but is weak against fire.

Fire has a higher attacking power. It can defeat wind, but is weak against water.

All four elements partnered can create new elements new forms of life. Earth and water together creates nature, wind and water creates ice, fire and water energy , fire and wind create light, darkness and illusion.

Earth and fire create destruction and lava.

One of the reasons that earth fire never mixed to not create elements of destruction.

Another reason is that the combination of earth and fire is extremely volatile and uncontrollable, posing a great risk to the balance of life and nature.

The destructive power unleashed by the fusion of earth and fire is capable of causing devastation on a massive scale. The elements of destruction and lava that result from their combination can easily consume and annihilate everything in their path.

To maintain harmony and prevent the potential chaos, nature has kept these elements separate and distinct from each other throughout the creation of life.

This was known, however, two elements that should not combine found in one another love. Which broke all the rules of life.

"Aque, you are weak against me your attacks do me no harm."said Tera

"I have been training mastering my technique, while you have been in the human realm, blinded by what you call love." Everyone knew that Water and Earth were fated elements, they had the best combination, however Tera had refuse Aque, because of Ignis.

And because Tera was the dominant element that made Aque even angrier.

As tension filled the air, Aque's eyes flickered with determination. He had spent years honing his skills, desperate to prove himself to Tera.

In Aque's mind Ignis, the element of fire, had captured Tera's heart and blinded her to their undeniable connection. Aque refused to let his fated element slip away so easily.

With a graceful motion, Aque summoned a powerful surge of water, his determination fueling each drop. "You may believe you hold the upper hand, Tera, but I will not be overshadowed any longer. I will show you the strength that lies within me!"

Tera's gaze hardned as she prepared to defend herself. "You are wasting your time Aque."

Looking from the sides were Jakobus, Glacies and Aer.

Aer was Ventus daughter the wind element, she had been in love with Aque, but he was blinded and wounded by Tera's rejection, notice Aer.

"Aque is strong, even though his element is weaker against Tera..." Observed Aer.

"Tera will not be able to fight Aque in her full power, since her powers are sealed. "Glacies said concerned. The two beings she cared the most were fighting, she could understand why Aque was hurt, why Tera remained firm in her decision to reject Aque.

As Tera and Aque clashed, different between their powers became obvious, as Glacies said, Tera wasn't able to use her full power.

"What are you doing Tera, don't take pity on me, and fight me." Aque said furious.

Tera was panting, she couldn't do much but to evade Aque's attack, with her power sealed every attack to Aque would be ineffective. She also didn't want to bring Alana's body to the limit.

'what are you doing Tera?'

'we can't fight him with human weapons it will not work on him.'

'Can't you use your power?" Alana asked.

'The power that we have right now is not enough.'

'Is this related to the seal? If so I don't mind if you remove it.'

'It doesn't work like that, is not only my power that is sealed. I am sorry, is not the time right now.' Tera stood up, to fight Aque, his attacks were consistent, she could only perform defensive attacks.

'Why?? Don't you care that you will lose. '

'I care about you that's all, this is not that important to me, this is just a friendly spar, no different of what you jakobus did just a moment ago..' Aque was continuously attacking, his attacks became faster, and faster, and Tera couldn't keep up anymore.

'His attacks don't seem friendly at all, please Tera.'

Tera's body was starting to ache from the strain of constant evading. Each blow from Aque felt like a heavy weight crashing down on her, but she refused to give up. She knew she had to persevere, not just for herself but for Alana as well.

Alana, who was connected with Tera through their soulbounding, she could feel Tera's determination. She wanted to help in any way she could, even if it meant removing the seal that was hindering their powers. But Tera was refusing to do so.

'No, Alana. It's not just about my power being sealed,' Tera replied through their mental connection. 'There's a reason for it, and I can't risk it. We'll find another way.'

'You can't keep protecting only me, please, if this was a real fight.....I can't risk to lose you either.'

As Aque's attacks intensified, Tera's movements became sluggish. She was growing weary, her defenses weakening. But despite her exhaustion, her resolve remained unbroken. She would continue to protect Alana, even if it meant sacrificing herself.

"Why won't you fight back? Are you that weak?" Aque taunted, his voice dripping with malice.

Tera gritted her teeth.

Seizing the opportunity, Aque managed to launch a swift counterattack, landing a blow on Aque's side, knocking Tera down. Glacies ran over to Tera side.

"Cousin please stop. Is enough, you won." Glacies extended her hand stopping the spar.

Aque stood over Tera looking disappointed. "Why didn't you defend and attacked me like you used to do?"

Tera didn't answer, just turned her face away.

Tera's silence spoke volumes. She couldn't muster up the energy to explain to Aque the pain she was going through.

Aque envy of seing Tera with Ignis, the pain of feeling rejected and overshadowed. He couldn't bear to admit that he still had feelings for Tera, that her rejection had hurt him deeply.

Aque looked down at Tera, his anger fading and being replaced by regret. He realized that he had been blinded by his own hurt and had taken his frustrations out on her. He had wanted to prove himself, to show her that he could be strong and worthy of her love. But in doing so, he had only caused more pain.

"I'm sorry, Tera," Aque whispered, his voice filled with remorse. "I let my anger get the best of me. I never meant to hurt you like this."

Tera finally turned to meet his gaze, her eyes softening as she saw the genuine remorse in his eyes. Despite everything, the connection they had couldn't be denied. Aque had once been her friend for longest, her fated element.

"I understand," Tera replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "But we can't go back to how things were. Ignis is..."

"I understand, you don't have to say." Aque said, his expression filled with sadness. "I know."

Tera smiled sadly, her heart heavy with having to hurt a friend was never her intention.

With that, Tera rose to her feet, Glacies by her side. Aque watched as they walked away, his heart aching with the knowledge that he had lost something precious.

The elements were meant to create and sustain life, to bring harmony and balance to the world. But sometimes, even the strongest elements can falter, and the bonds between them can be broken.

As Tera and Aque went their separate ways, they carried with them the scars of their past, but also the hope for a future where they could find peace, both within themselves and with each other. And perhaps, in time, they would learn that even broken bonds can be mended.

'Tera.... Tera?' Alana kept on trying to reach Tera. 'Don't ignore me. I know that's a lot to unpack between you and your friends, but if this seal is hindering you. Please let me remove it.' once again Tera didn't answer.

Alana sighed in frustration, she had been trying to get through to Tera for what seemed like hours, but the silence on the other end of the line was deafening. She knew something was wrong.

Tera was more willing to get hurt than to break the seal.

' I don't want to be the one that's always protected if I can help you be stronger I am willing to go through all . Let me help you.'

She waited a few more moments, hoping for a response, but Tera remained eerily silent. Alana's made a decision. She couldn't wait for Tera to decide when she was ready to remove the seal. She was going to find a way break the seal regardless of Tera's consent.

Alana grabbed her coat and headed out the door, she went looking for Jakobus.

She knocked on his bedroom door, the door opened before she could think what she wanted to say.

To her surprise Mandrak was inside of the room. They seemed to be talking about something emotional.

"I am sorry, I seem to have chosen a bed time." Alana said stepping back.

"It's fine, what does the Lady Alana needs? How can I help?"

She looked at Mandrak and then at Jakobus, not sure if she should say. However she couldn't turn back anymore.

"I need your help. I want to break the seal." Jakobus looked wasn't sure how he could help, since he lacked of magical powers to do so.
