Chapter 33 - [] Chapter Thirty Three : Hope

The huge boulder crashed onto the barrier with tremendous force, and from within, a multitude of cracks began to spiderweb across its surface.

Seeing this Tanvir panicked!. He can feel the one's emotions through his passive skill. It won't be able to hold for long.

But thankfully, there's someone smart. Among the people.

" Stop!. Everyone stop attacking this sheild is protecting us."

A shout came from the side. Hearing the loud shout. Everyone stopped attacking and gazed at the transparent black barrier enveloping them. Finally understanding what happened.

Tanvir sighed in relief and looked at the figure who spoke up. It was the same dude with long red hair who had been issuing commands for everyone to stack the iron doors. But his relief was short-lived as an even greater terror loomed above. Through the torn ceiling, a huge, red, gaping maw filled with razor sharp teeth spun menacingly.

Hundreds of hundreds of tentacles descended

started to bombard the barrier with multiple attacks'

'Cries of agony echoed out through the whole place once again. The one was fast to react to cover with its barrier. Still it couldn't envelope everyone.

along side this the clanking sound of tanticles attacking the barrier.

The one started trembling.

Reminding him. It can't hold long!. And saying"it need more energy!.

Processing what it said Tanvir quickly opened the fuction and looked at the qi infusion.

[ Qi infusion:

• Spirit stones: 69.9% { 28} ]

Without any delay. Tanvir took them out. No sooner had they dropped on the ground. The one's whole form vibrated. And the spirit stones started turning into mist.

Right away the cracks started healing up but new ones also started appearing by the onslaught of those Tentacles..

He right away realized the small tiny amount of spirit won't sustain the barrier. Thankfully others weren't blind.

The red figure shouted again.

"Everyone, we need more energy to reinforce this barrier! Bring out all of the spirit stones. If anyone dare to save save them. I swear I Gester silversword will kill them with my own hand!!"

The red-haired man's voice cut through the chaos. The one's who thought of saving them right away changed there mind. Just by hearing silversword

And started taking everything from their rings.

And soon in blink of an eye. A huge pile of spirit stones was created. The one didn't stay idle. It right away started the processing spirit stones.

" AURA TOWER! WHY are you fuckers! Staying idle. Quickly broke the seal!"

Meanwhile Tanvir who was sighing in relief seeing the barrier cracks healing up rapidly. He gazed at the magician group who all flinched in fear. They quickly began drawing runes on the ground, desperate for a solution.

Then all of a sudden the red haired man turned around and looked at Tanvir. His eyes glowed as he gazed at him.

" Is there anything more we can do?" He asked seriously.

Tanvir was taken back for a second. And looked at the one. Then replying.

" No"

The red-haired man nodded and surveyed the scene before him. Dozens of people were drawing runes on the ground, while a colossial creature attacked the barrier with its sharp tentacles.

" Do you know what that thing is"

He asked and gazed at Tanvir and Arabela who was standing behind them.

Tanvir also looked at the looming figure above them. Destroying the whole celling with every strickes of it's deadly tanticles.

" I don't know too" Tanvir muttered and clinched his hand remembering how people got shreaded to pieces. And the way he sees it it's trying its best to destroy the whole place to decend here.

" Can we kill it?" He asked.Making Tanvir flinch and look at him.

" You are the owner of this strange barrier isn't it?. You might also be strong" .

Tanvir didn't reply right away.

" I hope they can unlock the door faster"

Hearing this. The red haired man sighed and looked at the pile of spirit stones being consumed by the strange barrier at rapid speed. He also noticed the way it's working. As if it has its own mind. Meaning it way above master rank relic.

He was really curious. About the black haired man. Depsite beging the only son of the heavenly general. He can't afford one. But now this random dude in front of him using one. And it looked like it high rank master relic!.

" Should I snatch it?" He thought and gazed at the figure beside him wearing a white mask.

" I can't sense his realm. Nor his soul power. Is he hiding his powers?"

He realized he couldn't continue thinking this way - he had to find a way to survive. He knew he had to stay close to this person. To survive if everything goes wrong.

" I will give it a shot if I see a chance later one" He thought and looked seriously at the looming red creature. And couldn't but wonder.

" What type of creature is this"

----

Tanvir thought all the potential outcomes if the barrier should fail. He was sure it wouldn't hold for much longer. He cast a glance at the group of Magicians, among them the elderly Mark, busy etching runes.

" If they fail. Running away will be the only option"

He glanced backward and saw Arabela standing there, also on high alert. Feeling his gaze, she met his eyes.

Tanvir shook his head and stared in at the large starfish.

He thought to himself, "Survival is my main priority. If I can, I will save her. If I can't, that's fate." The brief encounter piqued his interest in her, but not enough for him to risk his life. And with that, he hardened his heart.

" Sigh let's hope, the magicians could unlock the door fast. Fighting will result in failure."

Tanvir knew that the Magicians were their only hope, and he could only watch as they worked tirelessly in an attempt to unlock the door. He looked around, hoping to find another way out, but the only thing in sight was the menacing starfish looming above them.

Suddenly, he heard a loud crash and saw that the barrier had started to buckle under the weight of the starfish's tentacles. Tanvir knew that they were running out of time and had to act fast. He quickly turned to the group of Magicians and shouted, "Hurry up! We don't have much time!"

Just then, a voice called out from the group of Magicians, "We're almost done! Just a few more runes and we should be able to unlock the door!"
