Chapter 35 - [] Chapter Thirty Five : Survived

As the red sphere enveloped those unfortunate souls, a deafening explosion echoed throughout the chamber. The shockwave rippled through the room, knocking several people off their feet on the second floor. They saw it all with their own eyes. How the unfortunate degenerated to ashes as the red light covered them all.

Their hearts beat faster as they witnessed what had just happened. If they had been even a single second late, they would also be in the same predicament. Thankfully, the forcefield on the 2nd floor protected them all.

Slowly, the aftermath of destruction settled, and the survivors on the second floor could only look down at the devastation that had unfolded on the lower level. The once-grand chamber was now filled with ashes and debris.

shock weighed heavily on the hearts of those who had made it to safety. Some can be seen standing behind their defensive relics barley managing to keep their life's.

But not everyone survived even after using their defensive relics. Some people can be seen completely burned from head to toe. Laying down on the ground.

Amidst the chaos, not far from the second-floor door, stood a black dome. Its upper layer had cracks all over the place. Despite its sorry state, it withstood the destructive powers.

Slowly the crumbling piece's of the dome started vibrating and started melting and like magnetic slime all and one by one entered the black dome.

The survivors looked at the black dome with sheer shock. They knew very well what that black dome was. It was the same thing that had helped them survive, and now it had even withstood such destructive power.

Slowly the black dome started crumbling down to pieces. Revealing seven to eight people standing there in shock completely intact without any scratch.

They surveyed the surroundings in sheer shock. Among them were, of course, Tanvir and Arabala. She was shocked and still processing what had just happened. She didn't even realize what had occurred a second ago. If it were not for Tanvir, she would have been dead long ago.

As for Tanvir, he wasn't looking at the aftermath but at the one responsible for such destruction above them. It loomed over them. The entire ceiling had collapsed, and now its entire body was somewhat visible. Visible slash marks, along with severed tentacles, could be seen.

Tanvir realized, Before it came here. It was already heavily injured. No one dared to move. The whole place became dead silent. Those who are injured from head to toe. Didn't even dare to ounce any sound in pain.

A couple of seconds passed, and the entity had already regained its original graceful form, attached on Tanvir's waist.

His mind started thinking many possibilities if that thing attacks again. The one already gave it it's all consuming every single spirit stones.

It was giving signals that it couldn't fight anymore for the time being. Tanvir didn't feel anything upon hearing that. It had given more than he could have ever imagined. If it were to be his end, he would accept it peacefully.

Thankfully, fate wasn't that cruel. The creature loomed for a couple more seconds.

-Kheeya!

And with that. It turned around and slowly started drifting away. allowing sunlight to finally bathe the place.

they watched it disappear into the distance. The chamber, once filled with chaos and devastation, now settled into an eerie calm.

Some even started crying. They survived. The injured ones couldn't stand till anymore and collapsed on the ground.

They have survived. Tanvir didn't let his guard down and looked at it drifting body. He relaxed when it completely disappeared from his vision.

Finally the mental pressure he was in affacted. And he fall down on his butt. Breathing heavily.

" Heh, it's too much for a newcomer like me" He thought and gazed at the surroundings. The whole area completely changed.

Seeing the injured people and ashes of the fallen people he unconsciously looked at the one. He was again thankful and realized again how power his partner is. He closed his eyes and tried to relax.

"Thank you for saving us" Simultaneously two voice of woman came from behind.

Tanvir didn't open his eyes. He was too tired to even open them.

" It's ok" Tanvir muttered while still keeping his eyes closed. The mental pressure was too much. He finally can relax.

"Are you okay, Tanvir?". Someone ask him gently.

Tanvir know very well who that voice belongs to.

" I'm ok, I need some couple of seconds" He spoke and opened his eyes. Only too see three beautiful faces leaning towards him looking at him.

One belongs to a beautiful girl with white hair and silver eyes. She's Arabala.

And the others two belongs to two identical girls with smooth black hair. And deep purple eyes.

Tanvir was confused for a second but then realized they were the one who just said thank you to him.

Tanvir closed his eyes again. He can't deal with this now. He waved his hand.

"Go help others, They might die soon" He spoke and remembered the sorry stats who survived despite being outside the black dome.

Arabala and the twin girls, their faces filled with concern, exchanged glances but didn't press Tanvir further. And rushed towards the injured people.

" Thanks for saving me. You need a rejuvenation potion?"

Tanvir opened his eyes to see the others gathered around him. Some faces were familiar but some were unknown.

Seeing him opening his eyes. Some right away started thinking him.First thing he noticed was a tall and imposing figure, blocking the sunlight.a man with a rugged appearance and a scar running across his left cheek.

" Thanks for saving me" The figure bowed down a little along side three other people each having blue hair.

" We OGent family will owe you a debt now" saying that he waved his hand a blue option appeared on his hand.

" Here recover you mental powers fast. We can't afford to stay here" He muttered seriously and gazed at the uproaching figure.

Tanvir took the potion from his hand opening the cap. He gulped it down. He wasn't sure what was the source of such sudden headache. But if this can cure it. He's happy to take it.

He closed his eyes to proceed the smoother energy.

" Enimu astrat" He heard a voice of a woman.

And all of a sudden forigen energy entered his body. He was overwhelmed by the surge of energy coursing through him. But seeing it wasn't hurting him. He let the energy be. It spread throughout out his whole body. And the fatigue he was feeling started disappearing. Along side the headache.

Opened his eyes. The figure turned out to be a young woman with long black hair cascading down her back. Her eyes were a deep ocean blue, and her face was framed by high cheekbones. She was holding a small wooden staff. Sweating.

" Ok, recover fast. I will go help others" She muttered and turned around and run towards a injured figure.

Tanvir watched the retreating back of the young woman.

" She was also with us in that black dome." The big figure muttered.

Tanvir nodded his head understanding and stood up. Stretching his hands. While looking at the surroundings.

As the mages were close to the door. Almost everyone survived. Only few unfortunate mages died.

Thus with such large number of mages. Who also know healing magic. Started helping others right away.

Tanvir felt odd seeing this. Seeing how desperate the magicians are. It was good and all. But felt odd. As he look further at the door. He got his answer.

A figure in red hair was standing in front of the entrance of the seconds floor. Shouting at the mages.

Who else it would be. It's Gester silversword.

" Heh,No wonder they are working this hard"

Meanwhile the the trio also gazed at Gester.

" His really deserve to be one of the candidate for the family head" The big figure muttered.

Tanvir didn't know this stuffs about him obviously. Thus he played along.

" That's to be expected" He muttered and searched for Arabala in the crowd.

Seeing her doing well completely fine. And helping others. He sighed in relief.

The big figure already noticed were he was looking. And nodded his understanding something. As for what he understood only god knows.
