Tigra leans against the cell wall as her hands are in cuffs. She stared at her sheet once more, something she's done 5 times since waking up from whatever Hordak had done to her. All she remembered was it getting hard to breathe.
Tigra…..Age: 18
Level 65 (11955/16250)
HP:10,580..…HPR:4761
MP:0/6240*…..MPR:0/4052*
SP:5290…..SPR:2381
*Magic Absorbing Cuffs: While chained in these cuffs, all your magic is being drained to power the Runes connected to your cell*
Tigra thought about breaking them as they apparently didn't do anything to stop Weaver when she was in these.
Oh yeah, she's stuck inside the same cell as Weaver but, unlike her, she has two guards guarding her cell constantly and only seem to change every 2 hours or so. They also are preventing anyone except Hordak from seeing her.
Not that he's been down here since she's woken up, but her mind went elsewhere soon after.
Her clones and spies hadn't dismissed themselves so they're still going. Yet, they haven't come to get her yet.
'What are they thinking?' She couldn't help the thought. 'What if Catra were imprisoned? How would I go about getting her out?'
Tigra winced as the first thought was to use her magic and speed to go through anyone between her and Catra. She would have knocked out the guards on the first floor before quickly making her way through the floors one by one.
She'd reach the bottom floor in time for someone to notice the missing guards on the first floor and the alarm would be sounded. She'd have to use Lava Armor in order to melt the components around the locked door to unlock them.
It's a bad plan because by the time she reached the top floor, the army would be waiting and would likely be firing the instant they were given permission. Sure, she'd be fine but one shot hitting her could lead to the person she's trying to save dying.
While it wouldn't be as bad since she would be fine more than likely, it's bad that she has become that reliant on her speed and magic.
'When I get out of here, I need to learn more. Spend some time learning more tech skills, more strategy, history, and other readings, and probably talk to other Generals about the areas I could improve.'
Tigra frowned at the end as another potential flaw reared its head.
'I also can't just abandon my magic. If I do, it will be the same problem, but on the other side. Besides, magic is meant to be a tool as well. I let my strategies become rusty from having all of this power so I need to clear off the rust. But I can't let my magic become rusty either. I need to find a way to work on both without sacrificing the other.'
Tigra thunked her head against the wall with a light groan.
"Easier thought than done." Tigra muttered.
________________
Catra tried calling Tigra once again but had yet to get back to her.
Catra, calm down.
Catra growled lowly as she turned her attention to Rogelio.
"'Calm down?' You're genuinely telling me to calm down while Tigra, who should still be in the Fright Zone, isn't answering? Someone who has told me that our squadron and Scorpia's calls will go through if she doesn't pick it up in time? Her clones were seen running off somewhere after ending classes early?"
"I think Rogelio is just telling you to stay calm so you can think clearly and not over think." Kyle defended Rogelio. "As of right now, we need to stick to facts and not speculations. You saw Tigra and you made plans but she didn't return to your guys' room. Tigra wouldn't stay away for no reason. You didn't have a fight so it likely wasn't you. You saw her before the alarms started blaring and the clones disappeared soon after."
I told Lonnie about the deal.
Catra swung her head.
"Deal? What deal?"
The two looked at each other.
"Tigra brought us back as cover for a spy that we were working with out in the field. We were her cover to prevent the spy from running off as she said she wasn't 100% certain that they were a spy but were ordered to bring her in." Kyle started explaining.
However, the spy was taken from us instantly by Hordak as soon as we got back to the garage. Rogelio growled out. Uncertain about this, Tigra said that she needed to make a deal.
"A deal with who?"
Kyle opened his mouth but someone beat him to the punch.
"Shadow Weaver." Lonnie walked into the room, having been told they were telling Catra. "She didn't say what she wanted from her, but made it crucial that only Weaver could provide it. My guess is either a spell that Tigra needed or something relating to magic. Weaver wanted some kind of badge from back before she joined the Horde."
"What? That's incredibly shady and likely to…backfire." Catra's eyes were wide at the realization.
Lonnie nodded.
"While it's being hush hush, you can make plenty of people talk with credits. While none of the information I gathered was more than speculation, timing, and sudden actions, someone high up managed to escape from the prison. Someone from below Floor 10. There's no evidence, except for a broken badge."
"Weaver escaped." Catra winced. "And based on how you were talking about how Weaver asked for a badge and now it's broken, there was something inside it. Something that helped her escape the prison or potentially the Zone itself."
"Oh yeah, the Specialists stopped looking about an hour ago, right?" Lonnie asked Kyle.
"Yeah. My mentor didn't say anything, but he wasn't happy. So whoever they searched for, they likely didn't find them."
Tigra unknowingly helped Weaver escape. Not long after, she's gone radio silent and Hordak doesn't seem happy.
"He found out then." Catra determined. "Which means…"
"Tigra's been determined as a traitor to the Horde."
________________
Tigra looked down at her cuffs and tried something that came to her a few minutes ago, now that she has time to actually think and plan.
She berated herself lightly for not trying this during her capture.
She focused on Lava Armor around her arms and tried using her HP ratio method.
She could feel her arms getting warmer and let a small grin grace her face.
Before it fell.
As soon as her arms were getting warm, she could feel the magic being sucked away and the Runes in the room glowed ever so slightly brighter.
She released it before huffing lightly, as the Runes slightly dimmed.
'I forgot in the suddenness. That method works by turning my body into magic and then changing it to that element. That's still magic coming from my body and as such, these chains are sapping it.'
Tigra wondered about her clones again until suddenly, a prompt showed up.
1 Shadow Spy dismissed!

6 Spies remain active
…
Tigra blinked at that before closing her eyes and focusing on those memories.
____________
Tigra looked around as the classes were finishing up before she felt a sudden sharp loss in her being just minutes after the sudden alarm started blaring.
Paying attention and looking at the other spies and clones, she noticed that they all had the same reaction, a sudden stillness before looking at each other.
"We're calling class early today!" One of the clones announced. "Return to your barracks and report back to your Captains until this alarm is settled!"
A few groans came from everyone until two people walked up to the clone that Tigra was hiding in their shadow.
"Tigra? What's going on?" Lonnie asked.
"Moments after the alarm went off, we lost connection to Tigra."
Tigra could see their shocked faces.
"Is she-" Scarlet started.
"No. Tigra is alive. We've just lost our magical connection to her." The clone explained.
"How can I help?" Lonnie demanded.
The clone started to speak when suddenly, Tigra felt danger blaring through her.
That the original was in actual trouble now.
Tigra and three other spies jumped out of the shadows, surprising Lonnie and Scarlet before shooting into a vent.
______________
They zipped across any shadow available before arriving at the location they felt it from and Tigra saw a strange and slightly terrifying sight.
The original was being dragged by two guards with cuffs connecting her arms together alongside her feet out of the room.
Tigra watched as they dragged her away before two other spies followed, leaving her with one other clone as they slunk their way into the room the original had come out of.
On the throne was Hordak as he started to type away at a screen before a side door opened.
"Was all of this necessary, Lord Hordak?" General Judai asked, walking in. "Tigra is one of our most powerful forces as of now. By treating her this way, it could be the same as activating an EMP next to all of our devices at once. It could set us back decades, potentially leading to our own downfall."
"While correct, that's part of the problem." Hordak dismissed. "Tigra is as powerful as you say, but her power is too focused. With three devices, I rendered her powerless. One to get rid of her magic, which we know the Rebellion can do. Anti-magic isn't unheard of as there have been rogue sorcerers before and could lead to her defeat. One to get rid of her speed. All one has to do is take someone she cares about hostage and she likely would be hesitant on using her speed in fear, such as when my S.I.C. was captured by Princess Glimmer and Gaea of the Elementalists. The last one to take her prisoner. Slap on the anti-magic devices and lock her legs together and she can't get away easily.
These are all things that anyone General and up know that the Rebellion is implementing. How long until they capture her and determine a way to turn her against us? As of right now, Tigra is a weapon that could be the end of any kingdom should she feel the need to remove it, including us."
"Then why not aim her at the kingdoms? Why keep her back?"
He pulled up a screen before it slid across the room to stop in front of her.
"Ever since Tigra has taken up the teaching role, magic users have seen a 1200% increase in the number of people capable of using magic. Her students that she has trained in Hand to Hand and running? They are keeping up with soldiers who have been in combat for 4 years already and half of those soldiers she's training are in their last year. She's revolutionizing the strength of the average Horde soldier."
"These are good things though." Judai pointed out, not pleased. "Why-"
"Because I have no loyalty from her." He interrupted. "She is loyal to her Chosen and her Squadron and that seems to be it. She hasn't healed anyone in the infirmary despite having healing magic. She never taught anyone until I forced her to. She has constantly been letting our enemies live and continue to wreak havoc on other positions of interests. She doubts my word that Lucy Waterscale is a traitor."
"Which she wasn't." Judai cut him off, her voice as strong as steel. "You asked for our input and we decided that she couldn't be a spy. While yes, her documentation is wrong, it isn't like she filled it out. Someone else manipulated her documentation to make her seem suspicious and while you seemed to have thought it would be a perfect way to test my previous student's loyalty towards you, all you have done is anger me, annoy your Generals by ignoring our words, allow an unknown spy to continue working, and more than likely destroy any loyalty that Force General Tigra had to you."
"Silence!"
"No!" Judai took Tigra, the other spy, and Hordak back with that. "I will not be quiet in this! Do you know her connections!? She is connected to Force Captain Lonnie, Specialist Candidate Kyle, Chosen of your own Second in Command, Student of General Judai, Hero of the Horde, and a Lost Princess! She's also the teacher of over 200 students, which you have stated to be above the average soldier!
Lonnie has loyalty of over 50 soldiers herself, Kyle has the respect of about half of our 18 Specialists, Catra has taken more land in the past 6 months for the Horde than you have in the last 5 years, I will stand with my student, she inspired many of the Horde to continue the fight against the Princesses, and finally, she could join the Rebellion as an additional Princess of Fire and we'd be up shit's creek!"
Judai huffed and took a deep breath before glaring at a furious Hordak.
"If she is executed, you will lose the loyalty of nearly 30% of the Horde. Most of them are high ranked members. Think about your next decision carefully , my Lord."
Judai turned and walked out of the room, leaving Hordak angry enough that, after the door closed, he yelled out.
The other spy took that as their sign to move away, deciding on another action to do.
Tigra started to move until Hordak spoke again.
"Fine. If I can't neutralize the massive threat to everything I've done for the last 50 years, I'll do something to delay the threat. And what better way than to provide for my lab assistant. She did say that there was a large energy signature out in the Crimson Waste."
Hordak rubbed his chin before narrowing his eyes.
"I need a contingency. There's no real proof that she will do as asked, especially now. She could attack the guards or even leave before they reach the Wastes and get help from the Rebellion. So how can I get her to actually do this?"
"Hordak!" Entrapta poked her head out. "Have you seen Catra? I haven't been able to find her. I originally went looking for Tigra, but I couldn't find her either. Strange huh? They both should be here."
Hordak smirked in a way that Tigra didn't like.
"You've given me a wonderful idea. How would you feel about sending Tigra to retrieve that tech you needed out in the Waste?"
"Okay. I'll need to prepare our supplies-"
"No." Hordak interrupted. "Tigra will be going alone. I have needs of your services here in the Horde and I need my Second in Command to remain here in the Zone."
"Okay? Well, I had an idea about your portal. There are a couple of power couplings that aren't fully insulated."
Tigra heard enough and quickly went through the vents. She stuck to the shadows of the vent before stopping at seeing another creature in the vent.
Imp seemed to have been listening and opened its mouth.
"Think about your next decision carefully , my Lord." It closed before opening again. "...more than likely destroy any loyalty that Force General Tigra had to you. You will lose the loyalty of nearly 30% of the Horde."
Imp stayed silent for a moment longer.
"She could join the Rebellion…and we'd be up shit's creek!"
Tigra stuck to the shadows and continued with the observation that Imp seems to be able to see the shifting tides.
It took her about 5 minutes to finally find the right way to the prison before learning the way from the entrance to the original's cell. She went back and forth a total of 10 times to ensure the original would not be mistaken on how to escape before stopping within view of the cell.
The whole process took over 3 hours but she spent the remaining amount of time watching, assured that the clones and remaining spies may be up to something.
Tigra would frown if she could, knowing that the clones and other spies would have no clue about her information until they were recreated. Even with that, the Spies will likely be dismissed around hour 12 since the original is no longer regenerating their magic to fully offset the amount they are using. They could have theoretically gone longer, but the room the original is in is allowing only enough to keep one spy going for the full 48 hours they could last.
If they wanted the original to know as much as they could, more and more spies would have to start dismissing themselves. The clones are slightly lucky in that they aren't fully dependent but they would likely dismiss within 36 hours to provide more MP for the spy.
Time passed before she saw the original start to wake up and pulled on the chains, not doing anything to break them before briefly seeing her arms lightly glow orange. Only for strange lights to start glowing from her cell and for the original to lean against the wall.
Seeing as the original would likely know what's happened, Tigra decided to dismiss herself.
_______________
Tigra opened her eyes and several emotions went through her face before settling on cold indifference.
'Take stock. What can I still use?'
'H2H vaguely will work.' She moved her legs as the chains rattled. ' Run and Dash won't do much with my legs like this. Sneak is useless right now. Of my activatable traits: YAS , Grimm , Raiju , Cheetah , Yuki-Onna, and technically Phoenix.'
'All together, that means a multiplier of 4.5 for DEX and 13.5 for my speed for 30 seconds, 3 for DEX and 9 for my speed for an hour. An increase of Resistances by 75% for 30 minutes - which wouldn't be very helpful right now. An ability to see if Yuki-Onna would be able to break these cuffs through the sheer coldness of the ability. Phoenix allowed me to use fire magic briefly in a situation just like this in the First One Ruin. And would increase everything I just thought by a further 25% for the next 10 minutes.'
'Should I need to get away from the Kingdom, I can move at Mach…1.7 for the first 30 seconds and half that for the next hour. By that point though, I should hopefully find a way out of these cuffs and should be able to use my magic and be back to full power.'
'But what does this all mean though?' Tigra placed her chin in her hand, leaning forward. 'If I leave while still a prisoner, I will be declared an enemy and a traitor to the Horde, meaning that I can't return here without being attacked on sight. The Rebellion could pick me up, but I also don't want to end up fighting those that I had taught. Yet, I also don't want to drop off the face of the planet and cause unnecessary worry for Catra and Adora.'
…
…
'What about the Magicat Kingdom? I should be safe there, away from the war so no side would have to worry about fighting me so that would be a plus to both, and I'm where I could learn more about my own history.'
Her train of thought was interrupted by hearing someone walking down the hall before seeing her guards standing at attention.
Hordak stepped into view and looked at her.
"What do you think your punishment is this time?"
"From you? It could be anything from forcing me to teach for another year or it could be sending me to the Crimson Waste to retrieve that First One tech that Entrapta discovered about a week ago."
His eyes narrowed as he came to a conclusion.
"You have your own spies."
"Have since the Battle of Brightmoon." She admitted, not seeing any need to hide it.
After all, it wouldn't be a problem for long.
"Well then, yours are correct. I will be sending you into the Crimson Waste to retrieve the technology she has detected. You are forbidden from returning without it and you should think carefully about abandoning the Horde."
Tigra snarled for a brief second before forcing calm.
"Oh?"
"We wouldn't want anything to happen to the Second in Command, would we?"
Tigra stood up as her chains rattled.
"Hordak, think carefully about what you're about to say." She growled out. "I have seen my Codex entry and they are very correct about targeting my family."
"But isn't the Horde supposed to be your family?"
"And isn't Entrapta supposed to just be an engineer?"
He did not like that.
"You may think your partnership is hidden, and it is on your end. However, Entrapta spends time with Catra and I. Do you think Entrapta would keep quiet about working alongside a fellow engineer?"
"Regardless-"
"It would be a shame if something happened to our lead engineer, wouldn't it?"
He growled this time.
"I know you're bluffing-"
"Do you?" Tigra stepped forward, hissing out.
The chains pulled taunt and prevented her from getting closer.
"Threaten my Chosen and see how much I'm bluffing. Entrapta may be my friend, but I have others that I care about more. And she knows that. So no, Hordak, I am not bluffing when I tell you to leave Catra out of this, or things will get ugly."
"...That all depends on you following my conditions while out in the Wastes."
Tigra took a step back and tilted her head up for a moment.
"You will be wearing prison bracelets that will block roughly 60% of your magic. Should these be broken, I will be given the belief that you have abandoned us. At which point, consequences must happen."
Tigra returned to her bed before crossing her legs.
"When am I going?"
"You will be going immediately. I can't have your students think that their teacher is above consequences."
Tigra raised an eyebrow at that in disbelief.
'Does he genuinely think anyone here thinks that? He must be reaching to find some way to get rid of someone who is gaining loyalty of the Horde.'
"And when I return?"
"Just like with the Battle of Brightmoon, I will grant a request, should it be reasonable."
"Throw in that you personally inform everyone that you were hasty in deciding that I needed to be punished and I'll willingly go along with this."
He frowned before grunting.
"Very well. Guards, place these bracelets just below her wrists."
The shield went down just as Tigra started to plan.
Plan on how to turn this in her favor enough that Hordak would truly regret putting them in this situation.
Because if there was one thing Weaver got right about her and Hordak, their relationship used to be about respect has turned into how Weaver saw her own relationship with him.
A willingness to work together so long as they didn't get in each other's way.
With the first clink of the magical bracelets, it practically was the first domino.
Because Hordak…was now in Tigra's way.
And he had threatened her Chosen.
They walked Tigra to the garage before stepping on a skiff.
'And you won't receive any mercy from me, Hordak.' Tigra thought.
'When I get back…the Horde can't stay under his management. It's time for a new ruler.'
As she and the crew taking her to the Wastes continued, she had one last thought before meditating as her clones and spies went away.
