"Yes." Adora answered easily.
Tigra breathed.
"In order to take Hordak off guard enough to distract him away from Catra, I need him focused on one thing. Luckily, Hordak has been focused on one single thing for the last 4 decades."
"The portal." Adora understood. "But what you're asking…"
"That's why I need your trust. I need your trust to make sure you understand that I wouldn't do anything that would purposefully harm you or Catra."
Tigra grabbed her hands to make sure Adora stayed focused on her for the next few moments.
"Please. What will it take to convince you to let me give your sword to him for a small amount of time?"
"Off the-" Glimmer started to screech.
"Princess Glimmer," Tigra's voice practically killed her exclamation. "I am not talking to you. If you wish to end this peacefully, let Adora and I talk in peace."
"Conditions." Adora started.
"Name them."
"A way to shut the portal down in case Mara is correct, at the chance that the enemy she was talking about is still around."
"Easily done. I'd just need to speak with Entrapta."
"You make sure that Catra is aware of what is going to happen. I don't want her thinking that you are betraying her for me or that I simply used you to get within the same room as Hordak."
"Doable if I find Catra."
"Finally…"
Adora leaned in to whisper to her.
"You and Catra try to visit Thaymor once every other week. We'll figure out how to spend time together again."
Adora leaned back.
"You didn't need to ask that last part. We're working on that already."
"Well, yeah." She shrugged. "But now, you have another reason to get on top of that issue."
Tigra would have acted like that was a problem, but she's already burning time that she may not have.
"That's it?"
"I trust you Tigra." Adora confirmed for her. "Despite being on opposing sides, the three of us know that we could never hate each other. We're simply fighting for different people. Like soldiers do."
Tigra wrapped her up in a hug before taking a risk.
"Not for long." She whispered. "We won't be working under Hordak for long."
"What?"
"After all, Catra and I aren't under Shadow Weaver anymore, right?"
Tigra leaned away and saw the moment Adora understood.
"When?"
"Unknown. His actions aren't smart though. But that's for future talk."

Tigra looked over to her group.
"Lasher, Bleka; I need you to update our group and get to work on compiling a list of who's in the group, what they do, who's under our protection, who are troublemakers, what needs to be improved, anything that you think I should know to improve the Waste."
"Yes, Boss." Bleka confirmed while Lasher nodded.
Tigra turned to Double.
"Give your number or whatever to Lasher and I'll have him get it to me. I'm going to be busy the next few weeks, so I likely won't be in touch too soon."
"Keep me in your thoughts then, darling." Double spoke. "However, may I have a ride back to civilization?"
"Everyone who isn't named Tigra or Adora, get on Draeka. I'll be having her drop the Princess Group off near the edge of the Waste before having Lasher and co return to their gang. Will you be alright with that, Draeka?"
"Yes. However, it sounds like you are leaving me."
"I'm not. If anything, I'm assigning you an important role: Protecting the Pride. It'll eventually be known as the group who took control of the Waste."
"Hm. Very well."
Tigra walked over before putting her hand on Draeka's head.
"I don't know exactly when I'll see you again, but keep growing. I don't want you slacking just because you're under my protection now."
Draeka exhaled air into her face and looked her in the eye.
"Don't you get rusty. I don't want to gain control of your territory, simply because you didn't think anyone would ever reach your level of combat ability.
Tigra nodded before seeing everyone looking at her.
"You'll leave when Draeka is ready, considering she's eating a meal the size of that." She pointed to the Behir, which had been cut into hundreds of small pieces about the size of her upper body.
She turned to Adora.
"Ready?"
She nodded.
Tigra picked her up, getting a small surprised squeak, making Tigra smirk.
"Surprised? I can lift about 300 pounds. You're no issue."
Tigra sparkled with lightning before they disappeared without a noise, moving at Mach 93.
'Even moving at this speed, it will take roughly 10 minutes to reach the Zone. That should be enough time to prevent anything from happening.' She thought.
But what if it wasn't?
Tigra frowned at that unwanted thought.
'Then…well, it's been awhile since I last fought my commanding officer.'
____________
*Back at the Horde*
____________
Catra walked into the Sanctuary and saw Hordak and Entrapta welding or something that involved large wires.
"You wanted to see me, Lord Hordak?"
He briefly looked up at her before pushing a welding mask up.
"Yes. Entrapta wanted your help, requiring something that she states your claws and expertise would be more useful and time effective than having to spend a day creating a machine to do what she says you can in a few seconds." He explained.
He then looked at Entrapta.
"Entrapta, Catra is here."
Entrapta looked up at that before her own welding mask went up, revealing her face with a wide smile.
"Catra! Come over here for a second."
Catra sighed before walking over.
"For this, I'll need your claws to be extended, preferably the index finger along with the thumb."
Catra did so, unsheathing her black claws as instructed.
"You see these two wires that are next to the hole about 2 millimeters big? I need you to position your claws to have them connect with each other for roughly 20 seconds while I do my work."
"That's it?"
"Yep! Hordak's hands are too large, my hands need to be working on what I need to do, and my hair doesn't mesh well with currents."
Catra moved her hands forwards before her claws picked up the wires.
"Yow!" She yowled and shook her hand rapidly. "You didn't say that electricity would be running through it!"
"I mentioned the current and my hair, did I not?"
"I figured you meant there were static electrical currents, not powered electrical currents!"
"Either way, I thought you'd be fine. Tigra seems unaffected by electrical currents."
"That's incorrect." Catra narrowed her eyes. "She can't be harmed through electrical currents. And that's due to working with electrical spells through methods that would normally kill 1 in every 10 people who do what she does."
"That doesn't make sense." Hordak spoke up, reminding Catra that she wasn't alone with Entrapta. "Electricity is just energy. The only reason it harms organics is because they use biologically created electricity. Aside from the heat that transfers through a current damaging tissue, muscle, and more, the damage a current does is mostly how it affects an organism's nervous system. One can't be immune to something while also not being immune to it."
"Tigra's an exception." Entrapta corrected. "She allowed me to do some tests on her as she caught my curiosity, as long as I didn't make a clone of her; even though I don't have the machinery to do something like that just yet. From the tests we've done, she started out being able to handle high temperatures, yet she had difficulties with the transferring properties. Over time though, she surpassed it and is not largely unaffected by fire or high temperatures."
"How? Biology can't change that fast. The fastest that I could see an organism go from fire resistance to immunity would be 5 generations, and that's assuming their DNA was the perfect candidate every single generation."
"Well, Tigra's DNA…it changes."
"Huh?"
"Throughout at least 12 different blood tests, only 8 of them match, but the DNA sequencing is different in 9 of them. Earlier blood could be essentially boiled while current can't be burned with an incinerator. Some could freeze from dry ice but the newer ones only grow colder but never fully freeze. Same with electricity. She's conductive, yet the electricity seems to either enhance her bio-electricity or almost perfectly cancel each other out."
Before they could further dive into Tigra's changing DNA, Catra was grateful when the door she entered opened.
She looked over and saw…
"Lonnie?"
"Cat?" Lonnie shook her head before looking at Hordak. "This what you were looking for?"
Lonnie held out a device the size of Catra's palm with wires running through it that seemed to connect to some lightbulb that wasn't lit.
"Yes. Place it on the table over there, would you?"
Lonnie shrugged before placing it on a table.
"What is it?"
"A device I'm using to keep track of a traitor. They managed to escape but that device will tell me if they get within 100 miles of the Fright Zone or if they've taken off their restrictions."
"Restrictions?" Catra asked.
"The traitor was of a high ranking that I couldn't get rid of publicly. So, I made a deal with them. They leave the Zone, stay out of the Rebellion, and don't come back and I'll leave them be." He explained, tightening something.
Catra and Lonnie looked at each other with the same thought.
'Tigra.'
"Speaking of traitors," Catra started. "There's a good amount of unrest among the soldiers. While it is not uncommon for Tigra to disappear to go out on a mission suddenly, word has gotten around that no one's seen her since someone escaped the prison."
"Inform them that Force General Tigra is out performing a mission to help find the escapist."
"There's a problem with that." Lonnie cut in. "Tigra had some clones teaching her classes when they seemed to panic or become unnerved before they vanished, saying something about the original being in trouble."
"So word has already gotten around that Tigra is either in trouble, in danger, and some have even started to believe that Tigra has been attacked or killed." Catra finished. "Some are trying their best to figure out what to do, especially those that report directly to her."
"How many reported directly to her?"
"Force General Tigra has approximately 3 Brigades under her command. Further expanded downward as 15 Regiments, 60 Battalions, 180 Companies, 900 Garrisons, or 9000 Squadrons. She receives reports from 5 Force Captains, who receive reports from 12 Force Commanders. In total, Force General Tigra has roughly 80,000 to 90,000 soldiers that she is responsible for." Entrapta rattled off, seemingly to be memorized.
Hordak hummed while Lonnie and Catra just stared at Entrapta.
"In your opinion, how bad and how long until the fallout?" Hordak asked her.
"Well…assuming that you continue to not say a word about the situation revolving around Tigra, I'd say about 3 or 4 months before people start seriously thinking you may have gotten rid of her. In terms of badness…depending on how you deal with the situation, you could be looking at several rogue Squadrons, potentially a rogue Company."
Hordak frowned at that.
A beeping sound came from a computer near Hordak, who had gotten up and headed over to the system before pushing a button.
"Horde Lord Hordak here. What's the problem?"
"Well, you told us to inform you if someone approached the Fright Zone and, well…"
"Soldier?"
"Hey Hordak ."
Everyone's, besides Entrapta, eyes either widened or narrowed at hearing that voice.
"General Tigra."
Hordak messed with something before a camera feed appeared near him, showing a camera near the station.
The sight was even more surprising, seeing as she had Adora over her shoulder.
"I don't see a First One tech on you."
"Yeah, no. That signal comes from a genuine ship about 70 feet long sticking into the air. It must weigh over 500 tons from what I could see. However, I did find a program that told me the exact reason your portal isn't and will never work."
Hordak froze before his frown gained a seriousness that Catra hasn't seen too often on him.
"Explain."
"I'm afraid that it would be easier to explain in person. So, do I need permission to enter my own kingdom, Hordak?"
"It seems like you can explain there just fine."
Catra could see the change in Tigra's body language.
"Hordak." Tigra's voice was flat. "You're spatially locked. Anymore than that, you must be looking me in the face without a screen or camera in between us."
'Spatially locked?' Catra thought.
"Of course." Hordak muttered. "Evidence pointed towards that, which would also give reason as to why my portal isn't working. It's based on reaching a point that doesn't exist on this plane."
Hordak grumbled for a second before speaking.
"Very well. Head to the Sanctum and do not let your prisoner out of your sight. I'd like one less prisoner to escape due to you."
"I'd like a commander who gave a shit about me. Let's see if we can both get what we want. "
The door outside the Fright Zone opened before Tigra and Adora vanished.
"A ship!" Entrapta exclaimed. "And in working order, based on what Tigra mentioned about a program speaking to her. But, how did the program know about Etheria being spatially locked?"
They sat in silence for a moment before the door slid to the side, revealing Tigra had already reached them.
"I could have been here almost a minute faster, but your doors only open so fast." Tigra spoke, walking in with Adora over her shoulder.
Yet, Catra's eyes narrowed on Adora's body.
It was stiff in the way that the young students in the Academy would be when being picked up and annoyed. The only difference is that Adora's eyes are closed.
And She-Ra's sword was suddenly on Tigra's hip when it wasn't before.
"What do you mean by being spatially locked and how do we fix it?" Hordak asked.
Tigra shifted Adora over a little bit before holding She-Ra's sword out, pommel first.
"This. The program mentioned that the previous She-Ra used this to transport Etheria into an empty pocket dimension known as Despondos. They mentioned how, due to the way they did so, spatially locked Etheria in Despondos with the Sword being the key to releasing Etheria. So all portals-"
"Would not work off planet." Hordak finished. "Even at best, this would result in unstable portals on the planet and incapable of creating portals off world as it isn't using spatial coordinates but instead but taking into account the spatial and dimensional coordinates that are unable to us as long as this lock is in place."
"I need to speak with Entrapta and Catra in private first."
"Yes, yes. Just leave the sword so we can start collecting the necessary data to finish this." Hordak dismissed.
"Trapta, need you for a moment." Tigra spoke again, making sure to get Entrapta's attention.
"Okay!"
Catra watched as Tigra placed Adora on the ground before noticing something that she would ask.
'Why isn't Adora tied up or restrained?'

Tigra took them two rooms over before speaking.
"Entrapta, we need an emergency shutdown device."
"I mean, we could just build it right."
"Trapta, the program acknowledged that there would be issues involving the usage of portals, that it is dangerous to do so. You may hate it, but I won't let you back in without the guarantee that you'll create a way to shut it down should it go wrong."
"Alright." Trapta shrugged after looking at Catra for a moment. "It'll delay us about 5 minutes so it's not that bad."
"That's it?" Catra asked.
"What? She gave me her warnings and Tigra tends to be honest about situations like this. She thinks it through and brings it up if she believes that the situation requires her to. Even then, what she's asking isn't that big a deal. All I need is a function to cut off the power, seal the circuits, and bleed out the energy."
Tigra sighed at that, believing that this would have taken more time and energy into convincing her, but she's likely wanting to return to finishing her project.
"Alright, go ahead and get to work then."
Entrapta was bounding past them with her laugh, her hair making her move quickly.
Tigra finally put all her attention on Catra, before hugging her.
"You good? Nothing happened while I was gone? He didn't do anything?" Tigra asked as she pulled away after a few seconds.
"Hordak? No. He didn't do anything after he sent you to the Waste."
Tigra withheld the wince at hearing that.
"So you know about that. I'm guessing you also know why it happened?"
"Yep."
Catra hit her shoulder with a frown.
"Please run the ideas that would put you at odds with the leading body of the Horde by me in the future. I found out about the situation through the Squad and General Judai."
"Judai? How could she have known the situation?"
"She was there in a side room." Noticing the confused and wide eyes, Catra continued. "Hordak apparently wanted her there to see your 'questionable loyalty' to the Horde."
"What? But the Horde is my home?"
"Yeah, but he doesn't believe it's to him, but more the kingdom."
"Cause it is." Tigra nodded. "I don't think I can put that much trust in a superior."
"I'm your superior." Catra pointed out.
"You're my Chosen." Tigra reminded. "I've chosen to place my trust in you."
Catra's mouth was open at that.
"Now then, I've got something to explain about Adora."
"You mean why is she unrestrained and more than likely not unconscious?"
"Yeah."
It took a minute or two to briefly explain the situation before Catra digested the information.
"Well, at least Adora wanted to make her position clear." Catra spoke. "I'll have some questions next time we visit Thaymor in the future."
"Need to remember to grab her new number in the future." Tigra reminded herself. "It would make the meet ups go more smoothly if we could say what days we planned to be there."
"The Horde didn't take you vanishing well." Catra informed, regaining her attention. "Your clones vanished during class after saying that they had lost connection to you. Scarlet seems to have determined that you had a connection to the escaped prisoner, the Squad are troubled with Hordak regarding his treatment of you, and Serena even seems frosty when it comes to Hordak."
"That's not good." Tigra muttered. "Lonnie and Serena together can affect just about 1,000 soldiers. Kyle can affect half of the Specialists, each with a reputation that can likely reach 400 people each, so roughly 3,600 just through his connections. Rogelio can likely affect about 50 as well…"
"Don't forget General Judai and me." Catra inputted.
Tigra winced at that. "Judai will add another 90,000 soldiers in total and you?" She asked to make sure, getting a nod. "That increases it to a total of ~600,000 soldiers under our influence. That's roughly 37% of the entire Horde that we can immediately influence."
Tigra came to the conclusion that made her look at Catra with wide eyes.
"Are we about to overthrow someone?"
"We're thinking about the options." Catra didn't confirm or deny. "A couple of Generals also share the concerns that a revolt looks to be in the future due to Hordak's actions. I've been working with them behind the scenes to help set up a system where one person won't have all of the power, a council so to speak."
"Expected date range?"
"As soon as 2 months but can be pushed back if needed." Catra held a questioning gaze.
Tigra thought about it.
'I'm sure that, if I'm at max speed, I should be able to remove Hordak relatively easily. I mean, I took down that Behir in one hit essentially even with a 90% damage nullifier. However…imagine how little time it would take me to reach a level I wouldn't need to dash to outspeed him. Spend 3 days only on dash and I may reach LV 1000 and I can work on run after. That will drastically increase my CON and DEX.'
Tigra decided.
'Better to be over prepared than underprepared.'
"It would likely be best with 3 or 4 months. Make sure that the leaders afterward can learn as much as they can to keep the kingdom going while transitioning." Tigra answered, feeling the weight with her words.
She had just given support to overthrow Hordak and given a genuine timeframe.
Catra nodded before seeming to see the effect the words had on her.
"Tigra," She spoke gently. "Nobody wants this, but it may need to happen. During the talks with Judai, she pointed out how 70% of the current Generals don't see a justifiable reason for us to continue the war. We know that it is mostly propaganda while the other kingdoms are fighting to survive and push us back."
"And if a soldier's commanding officer doesn't understand why they are fighting, those under won't either. Which means in the long run…60-70% of the fighting force of the Horde won't understand why a war is happening." Tigra continued the line of thinking.
"If we don't do something, it will just happen later." Catra confirmed.
Tigra sighed.
"Can I ask you to watch Entrapta for a bit? I want to grab my stuff that I was forced to leave."
"Yeah. Don't keep us waiting though."
Tigra nodded before leaving towards her room.
__________
Tigra appeared outside her room before inputting her password to her room and entering.
The door slid shut behind her, leaving her to look around the room.
She found everything where it was before retrieving them, even the old charm that had their small scratch marks from beside the bed.
She picked up the Familial Spellbook before opening it, seeing as she should be able to learn another 2 spells from the book.
"Fire Form is a sign of mastery over the element of fire. With this form, one's power through fire is increased nearly 100% with one other main benefit. You turn your body into that element. While in Fire Form, you can only be hurt by flames of a greater degree than yours. This spell took me 6 months to master, so whoever is reading this, knows that this spell will likely take a while to master."
[Fire Form LV 1 (0/1000) - Fire Mastery Spell. With this form, you are only able to be hurt by Fire damage while increasing your fire damage by 100% + 1. If IMMUNE to Fire damage, base resistance is reduced to 99%. MP: 500/s]
"If you are reading this, you are likely my child or my mate, seeing as these kinds of spells are limited by someone with 40-50% of my DNA or I have incorporated your DNA into this book. The reason why these pages are special is because they require such a large amount of magic that must also be connected with the Spirit Ember.
It will not matter if you have the Azure Flames or not, these spells draw from the connection of the Runestone.
Nova Flare is a special kind of attack. No matter how much Magic you have, this will always take roughly 75% of your magic as its cost. However, this means that this spell can theoretically always be used as long as you have more than a drop of magic left. This gathers all of your magic into one point before blasting out a wave of fire that will often destroy anything in its path. I say this now, be careful when using this. One you fire this, the power can't be cut off, only directed at the cost of losing focus of any other spells.
[Nova Flare LV 1 (0/3000) - Princess of Fire Spell. With this spell, you can shoot out a beam of fire that can eclipse nearly any other spell through power alone. The cost? Most of the MP you have left. MP Cost: 75%
Calculations:
(INT * 22.5 + WIS * 28.6 + ( MP / (5 * 0.75 [One with Fire] ) * 0.75 * 36) * Fire_Bonus
Damage: 321,593]
…
'Huh. These two spells are much more combat oriented than I thought I would get. Fire Form is good to think about, but it sucks that using it briefly gets rid of an immunity.'
Seeing as you have enough magic to keep that up constantly now, it was decided that it would be too much for you to be immune to Fire damage while only being able to take Fire damage.
Tigra grabbed her bag before making sure that her three spell books - Familial, Weaver, and her own - were inside before leaving the room, her charm of them hanging off of her right arm.
___________
Tigra returned to the Sanctum just as quickly as she left before finding Entrapta smiling as Hordak was holding a lever.
She looked to the side to see Catra next to Adora, quietly talking to her with Lonnie blocking the view from Hordak.
"-built a shutdown." She heard Catra telling Adora. "Worse case scenario is that Entrapta shuts it down."
'The worst case is that the shutdown doesn't work.' Tigra thought before Hordak spoke.
"Finally, after decades of work, it will work!"
Hordak pulled the lever before everything Tigra could see turned pink.
And the feeling of something being torn from her caused her body to scream in agony.
As if something that had been with her since she was born was ripped away from her.
