Seeing that the light had attempted to save Manchester, Raiden had guessed that he either was a member or someone very important to them. As such, he decided to escort him to the Hall of Justice himself, just to make sure he doesn't get an escape chance, and much more importantly, to interrogate him.

"Recognized Raiden Kagawa B-10."

"Recognized Raven B-11."

"Recognized Starfire A-15.

"With the criminals at hand, Raiden was about to escort them to the interrogation room, but then he suddenly spotted Captain Atom waiting for him, and beside him was Black Canary.

"Where's Nightwing?" asked Raiden. Atom walked towards Raiden and offered his hand for a handshake. "Nightwing is busy, he has a mission for tomorrow. I wish to personally thank you for helping the league," Atom said.

Raiden looked at him, then walked past him, ignoring him completely."Do you still hold a grudge against me, kid?" said Atom, as he turned to the Raiden that ignored him. Raiden stopped and turned back to face Atom. "You told the government about my weakness, the meta gene inhibitors… Waller got a hold of that and tried to blackmail me with it. This goes beyond a grudge; this is personal. You want to get rid of me, too bad for you. I'm just superior," said Raiden as he looked Atom in the eye.

"I had to do that. I work for the government, and the government should have a way to take down heroes if they go evil or are mind-controlled," said Atom, giving a solid reason for why he did what he did. But Raiden couldn't care less.

"Well, if I'm ever to turn evil, be careful, because I'll be coming for you first!"Raiden then turned around and went to the interrogation room.

A voice sounded behind Atom, belonging to Black Canary, as she mused, "I don't think he likes you."

"Well then, Mr. Hero! You got me now! I'm off to jail! Oh, how scary! A prison! An institute meant to 'fix' villains and bad folks and make them into better people. What do they call it? Rehabilitation! Utter rubbish, useless! Clear the entire prison community and just off them all, and you'll see! You'll see how crime drops!" said Manchester as soon as Raiden walked into the interrogation room to speak to him. Hearing that speech, Raiden waited for him to finish before saying, "You done?"

"Yeah, I'm done! Send me to jail," said Manchester, but then he sensed something burning in his hand. He looked at it and saw a knife had pierced his skin and was already inside his hand.

"AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Are you fooking crazy, you fookin' motherfooker!" screamed Manchester over and over again. But Raiden ignored him as he placed his hand on the knife and started to twist it over and over again while he listened to Manchester scream "Justice League! Are you just gonna stand there and let this happen, you fouks! I have rights, am I right? UAGHHHHHHHHH!" Raiden simply kept twisting and twisting until the knife had nothing left to twist; his skin and meat had been cleared out, leaving a hole.

"You see, the thing is, I'm not like the Justice League. I want you to tell me about something, and you will do it. It's up to you when you will," said Raiden as he got up and turned around the interrogation room. He then stopped in front of Manchester's hand and used his magic to heal the wound.

"Now, if you're willing to answer some of my questions, you'll get to go to prison. What do you say?" Raiden sat down and looked at Manchester.

Manchester looked at Raiden and said, "You think I'm some sort of snitch, eh? You ain't getting me to talk no matter what you do, bruv."

"I see. Then that's unfortunate," said Raiden as he placed the knife right back into his hand

.…

3 hours later

"I'll talk, I'll fooking talk! Just stop, bloody hell, stop!" screamed Manchester as his body was covered with blood and in extreme pain. However, no wound was to be found on him as Raiden healed all of his wounds."Good. I need you to tell me about the Light. Why do you work for them, and what is their goal?" said Raiden as he stared into his eyes.

Manchester shrugged and said, "I don't work for the Light!" But after seeing Raiden reach for the knife again, he screamed, "I don't, I don't! I made a deal with them! A bloke called Sportsmaster approached me and set up a meeting with this Vandal Savage guy, I knew that org was big, so I got myself a good deal. I get to operate in Metropolis without any problems from them and Lex, as long as I do a simple job for them."

"Oh? And what was that simple job?" said Raiden as he looked at Manchester. Manchester looked around the room, afraid, but he eventually spoke. "Look, it's nothing personal, alright? Just business. But the job was that I place a mental note in Superman's mind, increase his hatred of you, and make him not want you to join the League. Controlling someone mentally is usually hard and takes effort, but a mental note? It's easy. It's like placing a small idea into someone's brain and feeding it negativity. Eventually, it will grow on its own, even if the guy doesn't want to feel that way."

Hearing that, Raiden finally understood why Superman had been super aggressive toward him. It wasn't out of choice; rather, Superman was almost forced to feel that way against his will. He wasn't someone who would be irrational and deem Raiden an absolute villain just like that. So it was clear now that Manchester had been the reason.

"Why, though? Why would they do such a thing? And what else did they ask?" said Raiden as he stared dead into Manchester, signifying that if he lies, he's getting another torture session.

"Look, I have absolutely no idea. However, I do know that Superman was not the only target. The targets were Superman, Batman, and Raven. I was easily able to pierce through Superman because he wasn't pleased with what you did to Ivo already. I just made it much more prominent and worse. As for Batman, it didn't work. Unless I reveal myself and try to forcefully control him, a mental note was impossible. As for Raven, well, I was never able to get a hold of her. Hell, today was the first time I saw her!" explained Manchester as he was afraid Raiden would lash out on him

Hearing that, Raiden realized that Manchester was useless and the Light only wanted to protect their involvement in the mental note. "Can you stop the mental note inside Superman?" asked Raiden, to which Manchester straightened up nervously and said, "Ughh, well, yeah I can. However, there's an issue. Superman needs to be here, and the other issue is that..." While Manchester was nervously fidgeting, Raiden banged the table and said, "Spit it out."

"Because you're back, his hatred of you is going to grow more and more, to the point that maybe when he returns, he'll want you dead! I'm sorry, man, don't blame me!" said Manchester.

"I see, well that doesn't matter, just make sure to remove it when I bring him to you. Now you and your little squad are going to enjoy a bit of jail time," said Raiden as he walked out of the room. Outside, he found Raven and Kori waiting for him, and beside them was Dinah.

"That was insightful," said Dinah, but then she added, "This kind of method, it's not good, it will cause problems for us, and people will think we've mistreated prisoners."

"I would agree if something had happened to him, but…" Raiden turned and looked towards Manchester, who sat down in his chair completely uninjured even though his clothes were full of his own blood, and then said, "Nothing did happen to him. I mean, look at him, he's completely fine. Just get him some new clothes and send him to jail. No one will believe him if he says anything."

Raiden then left the interrogation room as he headed out. Dinah stared at his back and thought, 'Well, at least he's better. I hope nothing bad happens to that kid, or things will become chaotic.'

*Ring* Ring*

Getting up from his bed, Raiden answered the phone.

"Sup, Connor? Something's up."

"Raiden… It's Artemis. She's dead."
