"I'm back!" said Raiden as he walked back into his new home. "Welcome home!" said Carry as she hurried towards Raiden. Behind her came Raven, who said, "Welcome back, Dear," to which Raiden smiled awkwardly and said, "That was terrible."

"I know. I've always wanted to try that, but it's not as romantic. Anyways, you're done with the league?" said Raven. Before Raiden could respond, a sound was heard far away. "RAVEN! HOW DO I STOP THIS!" The sound, of course, belonged to Kori.

Raiden and Raven walked towards the living room where the sound was. There they found Kori watching TV dramas as she said, "I can't stop the show! It just keeps going!" Both Raiden and Raven had deadpans on their faces as Raven said, "You can't stop TV shows," to which Kori replied with shock, "WHAT! How will I greet Raiden now! I'll miss out on the show."

"I mean…I don't really mind," Kori cut Raiden, saying, "NO! I must greet you at the door! It's a human wife's duty! I learned that from TV!" Raiden scratched his head as he said, "You can just continue the show later online? I don't know. Besides, what show are you watching that has a wife greet a husband at her door? That's so '60s and '70s."

"She said, and I quote, 'I need to watch all human TV shows from part one.' As such, she started with shows back in the '30s," said Raven as she looked at Kori. "Indeed! I will learn all human culture," Kori affirmed. Raiden just looked at her with a stupefied face and said, "You do realize that they aren't connected? Actually, never mind! I'm tired, and I'm gonna go sleep."

"Wait, before you go, did you finally complete the mission? Does that mean we're leaving the team?" asked Raven. Raiden nodded his head. "Yes, we are. I'll work independently, but… *Sigh* I made a deal with Batman. He wants me to act as a substitute Superman, so I guess I'm not completely free of them yet." Raven narrowed her eyes as she said, "You said we're going to spend time together! I can't believe you want to go back to fighting monsters and evil already!"

"Raiden, we've been fighting for years now, especially you. You deserve a break!" said Kori. This put Raiden in a rather awkward situation as he raised his hands, saying, "I know, I know! And we're still taking a break! I swear, it's just that, in dangerous emergencies, things the League can't handle alone, that's where I come in."

"Emergencies only!" warned Raven. "Emergencies only, baby, I swear," said Raiden. "*Sigh* I suppose I can live with that. I just want you to take some time for yourself, Raiden."

"I know, love, I know. In fact, now that I have a lot of money courtesy of Wayne Inc., we're going on a vacation! I'll take you girls on a special trip: Greece, Rome, Paris, Tokyo! We'll go to them all! Us four are truly going to get the vacation we want!" said Raiden excitedly.

"Actually… uh, I won't be joining you, Brother Raiden," said Carry. "You and Sister Kori and my new friend Raven deserve this trip. I don't want to be a burden anymore, so I'll train myself more. Seeing the team, I got excited! I want to join them, a team with people similar to my age. I feel like I could better myself there."

"No, Carry, you are not a burden at all. I'll be happy to have you with us, to travel with me. Never think that you are getting in the way!" said Raiden, persuading Carry. "No, Brother Raiden, it's not just that. I feel like it's where I belong," continued Carry. Before Carry could continue, Kori placed her hand on his shoulder and said, "She's been thinking about this for the last three days. It's a hard decision for her, so don't deny her. It's a choice she made on her own. We must honor it."

Raiden looked at Carry. She had determination in her eyes as she stated her decision to join the team, so he sighed and said, "If that is truly what you want, I won't deny it. The team is an appropriate place to gain friends and learn about Earth. However, if any problem arises, you inform me immediately, understood?" said Raiden, to which Carry said, "Yes! I have thought that you would say this." Her ring shone bright as something formed around Raiden's arm. The blue light formed a small watch around Raiden and clicked. "If this watch ever breaks, this means I'm in danger. It will create a small map to my location. Find it, and you find me."

"I guess you know me too well. Fine, tomorrow we go to the team, and I'll ask them to add you as a member."

---

"Everyone! This is Carry. You've met her before when she came with Raiden. She will join us as a new member of the team. She's a Blue Lantern, so she'll fit in well with us," said Nightwing, introducing Carry to the team.

"Hi! I'm Carryand'r. I hope to fit well among you all!" said Carry as she walked towards the team. Of course, she was welcomed greatly. Cassie went to her immediately and hugged her, saying, "WELCOME! I'll give you a full tour of the place!"

"There they go! Don't worry, Raiden. I'll make sure to keep her safe and welcomed in the team," said Tim, who walked in front of Raiden. Raiden patted his shoulder and said, "Yeah, I trust you with her, Tim."

---

Raiden walked outside the Zeta tube. He was in Star City. Today's mission: buying gifts for his girls.

"Uh-huh, so you think she'll like this?" said Raiden to the clerk. "If she is as you said, then she will love this. This outfit is the hot thing around these days, the best gothic theme outfits you can find."

"Alright, good. Here, use this card and pack it all up, with the other outfits," said Raiden. The girl nodded and said, "Six high limited edition designer dresses with accessories and outerwear. Everything will cost $41,214," said the clerk. Hearing the number, Raiden opened his eyes a bit, but ultimately didn't really care. 'I feel like I'm being robbed, but it matters not. If the girls like this, it would be worth it.'

*Ring* *Ring*

Hearing his phone ring, Raiden looked at it, then he opened his eyes wide. 'It's an unknown number. This is the same number I had four years ago. If someone were to call me, they would either be a friend

or an accident. But an unknown number, now that's suspicious.'

"Hello," said Raiden.

"Mr. Raiden Kagawa, this is Amanda Waller speaking. I trust I have your undivided attention," the voice on the phone responded.

"Amanda Waller? I think I have heard that name before, but not quite sure where. As for my attention, you got it the moment you found my number. Now tell me, Amanda, what is it that you want?" said Raiden, interested in who this Amanda was.

"I'm aware of your remarkable capabilities and accomplishments in the team. You've certainly caught my attention. I'm calling to discuss an opportunity to join a highly specialized team that deals with unique challenges requiring individuals of your caliber. A team that isn't restricted like the Justice League or your former teen spy team."

"AHAHAHA, is this seriously a recruitment call? Well, unfortunately for you, Miss Waller, I left the league to work alone. I have no interest in working with someone like you or the government."

"Working with us opens doors to resources and opportunities that few can access, not even the League. It's a chance to make a real difference in ways you've never imagined. Of course, with such privileges comes a level of responsibility that surpasses what most are willing to handle. Refusal isn't typically an option, considering the sensitive nature of what we deal with. But rest assured, I'm confident that someone with your intelligence understands the potential consequences of declining such an offer. I'll expect your decision promptly. But know that my patience is limited."

"Was that a threat? Do you realize who you are thre- TSK," before Raiden could finish talking, Amanda hung up on him. Raiden looked at the phone and started laughing. "HA, AHAHAHAHA, AHAHAHAHAAHHA," the clerk was a bit shocked to see her client start laughing hysterically like a maniac as she said, "Is everything alright, sir?"

Snapping back to reality, Raiden said, "Ah, my apologies. I just received some interesting news. Please, this is for your service." Raiden handed the woman a thousand dollars in tips and grabbed the bags and left the store. He then raised his phone and called his friend.

"Hey, Dick, I've got a favor to ask. There's someone I want info about."

"Hey, sure thing. What do you need to know? You know I've always got your back."

"Amanda Waller, huh? That's no small request. She's a powerful figure with connections all over. What's going on? Why the sudden interest in Waller and her whereabouts?"

"She gave me a phone call, said something about recruiting me. Of course, I said no, but guess what? That crazy woman hinted at some blackmail against me, and her worst offense was that she hung up on me. I'm quite shocked, you know, so I'm going to teach her a lesson."

"Whoa, that does sound intense. Amanda Waller doesn't play around, that's for sure. Blackmail and recruitment? Classic Waller move. But listen, going after her isn't something to take lightly. She's got resources and connections most people can only dream of. Let's think this through before diving in headfirst."

"Listen, Dick, you know me. Do you truly think I can be threatened by her? Just give me the info and her location. Don't worry, I won't kill or harm her, not too much at least. I'll be careful to keep my image as the new 'Superman'. God, that's an awful task."

"I get it, you're not one to back down from a challenge. And no, I don't think you can be easily threatened. But Amanda Waller isn't someone to underestimate. Alright, let me see what I can find out. Just promise me you'll tread carefully, okay? I'll get back to you with whatever I can gather."
